    Great Entertainment!!

Erick, Victor and Ricky were the best entertainment and made us feel right at home. They also offered recommendations for daily trips off the resort, 10/10 and would come back for them alone!!

Disappointing Stay at a Resort with So Much Potential

This resort has the unique opportunity to deliver an exceptional guest experience—and unfortunately, it falls painfully short. From the moment we arrived, things began on the wrong foot. We showed up slightly before check-in, around 2:30 PM, and weren’t checked in until after 3:30. That delay might have been understandable if the room had actually been ready. Instead, we walked into a space with a non-functional toilet, a balcony door that wouldn’t open until someone came to grease it, and broken lighting. Not exactly what you’d expect from a five-star resort. Dining was another major disappointment. I’ve stayed at several all-inclusive resorts before and never realized how much of a luxury it is to simply walk into a buffet and eat. Here, my partner and I regularly waited up to 45 minutes just to sit down. So if you’re hungry, be prepared to stay that way for a while. The food itself wasn’t even worth the wait—it’s clear they’re trying to cater to a wide variety of diets, but in doing so, they don’t do anything particularly well. As a vegetarian, I found the options limited and the effort to accommodate dietary restrictions almost nonexistent. The beach was another letdown. Although scenic, it was covered in seaweed, which made swimming nearly impossible. I know that’s not entirely the resort’s fault, but it does affect the experience. We ended up spending most of our time at the pool instead—which, thankfully, was kept fairly clean. But even that came with its own challenges. Finding a towel or a place to sit felt like a scavenger hunt. Unless you get there early or risk leaving your belongings by a pole and hoping no one moves them, you’re out of luck. To make matters worse, the resort doesn’t take restaurant reservations. So it’s all walk-in, wait, and hope for the best. Room service was inconsistent, and many requests were ignored altogether. At one point, we gave up and just started seating ourselves at the buffet out of frustration—clearly not how things are meant to work, but we were tired of being turned away. One thing that felt especially exploitative was the transportation fee. We were charged $25 USD for a cab ride that took less than 10 minutes. When we asked for an explanation or breakdown of the cost, no one could give a straight answer. It felt like we were being taken advantage of, and that’s never a good feeling when you’re trying to relax. That being said, I do want to give credit where it’s due. A few staff members went above and beyond. Edwin, the bartender at the swim-up bar, was incredible. He worked tirelessly, made every guest feel welcome, and truly gave his all every day. If I had my own business, I’d hire him on the spot. Horacio, who managed the gym, was another standout. Not only was the gym one of the best parts of the resort—well-equipped, clean, and stocked with water—but Horacio himself was thoughtful and proactive. I casually mentioned the lack of ropes for cable pull-downs, and the next day, he had them. No hesitation, no excuses—just genuine hospitality. And then there was Geyser, who worked by the pool. When we couldn’t find anywhere to sit, he actually went all the way to the beach to grab us two chairs and bring them over. That kind of service is what you expect when booking a place like this. Also, worth noting for animal lovers: there are cats roaming around the property, which can be a cute touch if you’re into that. All in all, our stay was filled with far more inconveniences than comfort. The property, the staff structure, and the overall service just don’t reflect the five-star experience they advertise. With better organization, clearer communication, and support for the amazing staff they do have, this resort could be great. But until that happens, I wouldn’t recommend it.

    July 2025 Tulum

I understand it's a family resort, but kids should not be allowed to sit at the swim up bar. Adults struggle to get drinks because they are there. Adults run the risk of pool water going into their drinks because kids are jumping and splashing water. The kids should be kept separate from the big pool. Rogelio was great! Attentive, helpful and informative. Bacilio was great as a bartender at the pool. Angel was great at the teppanyaki restaurant. Ingrid was simply the best. The resort was great. The restaurants were great.
