Wow this place was underwhelming. Barely anyone can communicate; the English across the staff at the resort was terrible. The food was awful. The setting is nice as far as the beach and jungle. But the overall experience leaves MUCH to be desired. If you want a cheap experience in Mexico I guess this is the place. But if you’re looking for good food and drinks or top tier service, you must go elsewhere. They didn’t clean our room for three days because some obscure button was pressed that we didn’t know about. We tried to get them to clean it but seriously no one knows English… when we finally flagged down a housekeeper after calling the front desk for days to clean our room, she showed the button was pressed (never told about this, no clue it existed) and just laughed at us and left the room. The drinks from the bars are so lackluster. I think they’d be better anywhere else. We booked excursions through the resort through Amstar and each one had its downside. One tour was supposed to include a restaurant lunch but didn’t without a word about it. One, we were picked up first before picking up three more hotels in the opposite direction of our tour destination only to pass by our hotel after we’d been in the van for an hour and a half, just getting started on the road towards our actual tour. Taxis anywhere from the resort are highway robbery. Honestly, our experience here gave us a bad view of vacationing in Mexico. Would never recommend it.

DJ Rodrigo was a wonderful time. he made our time at Dreams resort all the better. give him a raise! the music he proves was amazing and he kept us dancing all night !!!!

DJ Rodrigo was amazing!! He made us smile and feel welcomed everytime we saw him! His energy was top tier and I recommend him taking care of everyone else!! He played the best song and even took request!!

A wonderful vacation for the entire family!
This was our fifth visit to Dreams Tulum, as it is one of our favorite places to visit on Yucatan Peninsula. This time, we came with our entire family, including senior parents, adult son and his wife. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much, as Dreams Tulum offers something for everyone: relaxing on the white sandy beach, snorkeling in the beautiful blue Carribean waters, swimming in the two lovely pools, walking the vast and beautifully kept grounds, playing Ping Pong, giant chess or checkers in the gardens, enjoying lovely cappuccinos in the Hacienda with stunning Colonial architecture, watching a variety of birds and wildlife, latin dancing and participating in numerous activities throughout the day, and enjoying stunning shows and live bands in the evenings. As much as we love the resort, the wonderful People who work there are really the ones who make each vacation special; they are the Heart of Dreams Tulum and the reason we keep coming back. We've made many friends over the years, and it's impossible to name everyone who has made our Dreams Tulum memories so special. Salvador, the Preferred Beach Consierge, has been a Blessing and has helped to create wonderful memories by helping us arrange for dinners and other activities as a family. Guadelupe has been a dear friend for many years and makes our stay special every time with her lovely smile and such genuine kindness. Natalia from UVC Customer Service has also been a friend and helped us with so many different things over the years. Mara, Luis, Francisco, Basilio and the rest of the Coco Cafe crew not only make amazing cappuccinos and smoothies but are also wonderful to talk and hang out with. Miriam, Senior Luis, Restaurant Managers, Edgar, the Wine Stuart/Sommelier and Alejandro helped create amazing wine cellar dining experiences for us; Roberto, Reina, Gilda, Alma, Seleni, Laura, Elisio, Yahir, Desiderio, Benito, Saturnino, Pablo, Filiberto and so many other phenomenal food and beverage professionals made sure we never lacked tasty foods or beverages at any time of day or evening. The entire Entertainment Team, including Horacio at the Gym, Victor, Ricky, Rubi, Erik, Ronny, Raul, and others always make us feel so welcome and do such a wonderful job keeping us moving with fitness, fun and great activities. We cannot thank all the wonderful Dreams Tulum Staff Members enough, and so many of them work so hard behind the scenes to make this place truly magical!
