  Kids Club is the best part of this resort!

  The best part of the hotel is Kids Club! If you have little once, this will be a life saver. Ladies that work there are so welcoming, kind and know how to keep children entertained. My son is 4,5 and he was at the kids club every day, usually from 10-12PM and then for the evening activities 7-9PM. This gave us a break to actually relax! Each day there’s something fun to do, like making piñata, camp on the beach, paint, make cake, and much more! Highly recommended!

  Awesome Dj’s At Dreams Tulum

  The DJs at Dreams Tulum are simply the best! 🥳 Rodrigo got us dancing at the foam party and we had an amazing time, despite the cold pool! 😅 But Charlie really stole the show, getting everyone dancing regardless of nationality. His ability to adapt to every genre was impressive! 👏 A big round of applause to both DJs for an unforgettable night. Thanks for making our stay so special! 🙏

  Membership promotion scam

  We were sold a package that included a tour of dreams - we were under the impression that this was to show Dreams resort for our next stay, which we considered as we booked our trip last minute. Oh how wrong we were! First they took our passport and hotel information twice (not sure why they needed it a second time) then Fernanda asked us 6435 questions about our previous trips while we are breakfast at their buffet The breakfast options was quite small and our boutique hotel had way better options and service I kept asking for cost of the membership but she kept dodging my questions and presenting her story. She was a horrible salesperson who didn’t bother including my daughter into the conversation and seemed to dislike kids Then she showed us the hotel (beach full of sargassum) and overcrowded pools and outdated rooms. Then she took us to the room with 50 other people where two other people shows us 5324 different numbers before showing the price of this exclusive membership- I will save you the trouble -it’s 149,000usd that you have to pay over 5 years and deposit of 50,000 usd and you get this membership for 40 years that covers 30 countries! Wow sign me up! And with this membership you get exclusive discounts with fraction of a price. For that price you better include not 1 but 2 kidneys from an elite Olympian. We obviously said no and tried to leave and then we’re shown 432 more numbers of the interest and ways to pay. We managed to leave without selling our souls to them. They couldn’t even provide water until we asked 3 times for our daughter. I found out that they do the same to dreams guests by offering a spa service to get them to listen to this membership soul sucking demonstration. And it took way longer than advertised. You can save so much money and have better experience elsewhere

  Family get away kids 3-6 kids loved it.

  Been a lot of resorts, this one has one building it appears that has been updated for newer finishes, the rest are still a little dated and run down, however for our family vacation we did a deluxe garden double- 2 kids 2 adults. We were in building two which is near the lobby/spa so it’s quite quiet, ground floor as they don’t have elevators and they were preemptively trying to accommodate family’s that may have strollers. Normally we love a second floor but it was nice for the 3 year old and I to pop out and grab coffee and he could run around the courtyard while waiting for the rest of our group to get up. Food was good- not amazing but kids were happy with all the options and us adults were easy. The coffee in coco cafe is a list every morning!We did not come with high expectations, this resort is very clean, staff work very hard, and try to accommodate everyone- even the ones that are rude and scream at the staff they still are patient and kind. The beach had some sargasm but they clear it when they can and it was still a good beach day just step over it ! Foam party was very fun with the kids, the fire and acrobatic and silent disco. The explorers club during family time was also really great. I would recommend for family’s 100%

  Very positive

  This all inclusive resort really is all inclusive, as it offers just about everything at a good standard overall, some aspects excellent, others less so, as can be expected. The overall impression is that of a big, well run business geared mainly for the North american market and tastes, yet because of the well planned and diverse layout, it never felt impersonal. The offer between pool, beach, facilities and landscaping was generous and comprehensive. The service was very good, if a little slow, the cleanliness everywhere was exceptional, the staff accomodating, if not always the firendliest. An exception was the entertainment team who stood out for their exuberance and excellent spirit. Perhaps apart form volleyball, one could suggest some other beach activities and games. What was there not to like? Well the biggest disappointment was the sea, lots of seaweed which was not expected at this time of the year - of course this is no fault of the resort and they really were very efficient in cleaning it up constantly. It didn't worry me at all, but for some it did. I was expecting however to be able to snorkel from the beach into rich, coralline waters, but this was not the case. One was limited to swimming off a small stretch of beach that had been cleared of coral and rocks, but often filled with herds of americans waist high in water with drinks in their hands, as is their habitual mode. Zero to see underweater. The food quality was slightly disappointing and the fantastic choice offered in the World Cafe often looked better than it tasted. However, the effort was appreciated and breakfast was certainly the best meal of the day. Although spending 8 days there, we never tried French or Italian - which I avoid when abroad anyway, but also daunted by the whole 'elegance' rules. Who wants elegance on a beach holiday? I would have preferred more south american ethnic, more fish, rather than so much meat offer too. This particularly in the Seaview Grill which, beacuse of name and location, I expected to offer local seafood. So overall a very positive experience for a relaxing family holiday, when going with reasonable expectations. Venturing out of the resort is an expensive business, starting with the ridiculous taxi fares, which are double those of London's. Naturally, US tip mania applies everywhere.
