Things to Know

  • The resort is just five minutes from the airport. Breathe and you'll be on the beach.
  • Buy your transfers (from us) to and from the airport. It'll be one less thing to worry about.
  • There are five snazzy, jazzy bars and lounges where you chill or get wild or toggle between the two.
  • You've got four nosheries with scrumptious cuisine and settings.
  • Dive into aqua aerobics for the exercise thing, or water polo for the competition thing.
  • In addition to snorkeling, there's parasailing, motor boating, or Hobie catting (is that a word?).
  • You can play shuffleboard and tennis, but if you want a smaller court, there's always ping-pong.
  • There's volleyball to enjoy, but if you want near zero physical movement, there's Spanish lessons.

    Extremely family oriented. Very quiet and staff is incredible

    This was our 6th time in Cozumel and our 5th time at Melia. My husband and I brought our kids for their first time ever this time. We love it every time we are here. Very family friendly and all staff treat you like family. The kids had a great time with Abril and Suzzy at kidsdom and we had great service from Rosa, Sandra, and Jorge. The Spa is always great every time with help from Janet and Angelica. We will be coming for years to come.

    Incredible Service

    Our family loves this resort. Service was incredible. Rosa at the pool and dinner waited on us a few times and was great at taken care of us. Jorge and Sandra in the buffet service waited on us and it was great.

    A Perfect Mix of Relaxation and First-Class Service — The Level Experience is Worth It!

    We stayed at the Meliá Cozumel from October 5th through October 25th and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We upgraded to The Level, and honestly — it made all the difference. From fresh coffee delivered to our suite every morning to the private beachfront Bali beds, everything was thoughtfully designed to help us unwind. The staff was incredible — friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Ian at the excursion desk helped us arrange a private island tour with Ricardo, who turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. He shared Cozumel’s history, took us to local artisan shops, and introduced us to the best hand-pressed mojito on the planet on the island’s east side. The resort itself is beautiful and well-kept. The amenities are top-notch, and the restaurants exceeded expectations — every meal was delicious, and we never had a single day we didn’t enjoy. The beach area is quiet and peaceful, and the staff made sure we were never left wanting for anything.

    Far better than expected

    Definitely a five star experience! The staff is far above 5 stars and we stayed long enough to really become friends and they remembered our names and orders. Francisco, Alfonso, Christian, Liliana were some of our favorites and were of the best service. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and want to come back with more family, thank you Melia.

    Is a perfect all inclusive! Great food, fun activities, and friendly staff! Jesus especially was a great host, a lot of fun (and a wicked volleyball player)!
