  Living the Dreams!

  First I would recommend booking airport transfers before you go, we were able to get rd. trip for 8ppl for 55$ USD, others in our group paid $160.00 for 5 ppl. one way. Once at hotel we had privileged so we were taken to the "club" to check in. I would say the extra cost of privileged may or may not be worth it for everyone as the "club" was nothing special, the main advantage was liquor upgrade. You were able to get Don Julio, Captain Morgan, Belvedere vodka, Bombay gin. You were not given bracelets and did not have to make dinner reservations in advance. (this goes for all guests). Food was ok. Service was great and staff was very friendly! There is a buffet which is small, and an outside restaurant (only open for lunch when we were there), An Asian restaurant (can make reservation after 3 if you would like the Hibachi), an Italian, A Mexican, and a Steakhouse. hint: get the fried ice cream at Himitsu!! Dreams Sands is starting to show its age however it was clean and a small resort so easy to get around. Beach and water are beautiful (clear water) however you are kind of in a bay or inlet so the water is only waist deep I suggest bring a cheap blow up raft to just float and relax! Not much entertainment , there is a small shopping area across the street which probably was nice years ago (so run down now ) however i would not waste time unless you really need something as there are two pharmacies, a Circle K , few souvenir shops. If you go be sure to look for Abraham (privileged beach server) and ask him if anyone played pranks on him!!!! he is the best and a great sport! have fun and Enjoy Cancun

  The morning Zumba class

  The Zumba class at the Dream Sand Resort and Spa was remarkably motivating. I would like to express my gratitude to Diana, Lailani, and Anchi - your expertise is outstanding. Their capacity to enable participants to dance like professionals is commendable. Thank you, ladies, particularly Diana, the Zumba instructor, for your superb teaching skills. Your clear instructions, delivered while dancing, were truly appreciated. Your elegance and warm smiles will continue to inspire us. Thank you very much.

  An outstanding stay thanks to an exceptional team at Dreams Sands Cancun

  My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Dreams Sands Cancun. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful team that made our entire stay truly exceptional. We would especially like to thank a few team members who really made a difference. A huge thank you to Lidia from the VIP service, who organized everything on site and pampered us so that every moment was unforgettable. We also want to thank Antonio, who took care of us every morning at the Mexican restaurant for Preferred members. He anticipated all our needs and was incredibly attentive. During our dinners, we were fortunate to be served by Rangel and Julio at the Gaucho restaurant, who made our evenings truly memorable. A big thank you as well to Jorge, the restaurant captain, who surprised us with a lovely gesture at the end. At the Portofino restaurant, Ruben gave us a wonderful Italian evening, and at the Himitsu restaurant, Fernando once again anticipated everything we needed. Lastly, a huge thank you to Maria for her help during our hydro treatment, and to Karina, who provided my wife with a fantastic relaxing experience at the spa. Thank you so much to the entire Dreams Sands Cancun team for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

  Don’t skip on the activities and if you’re vegan don’t worry! They are very accommodating 🩷

  Very amazing resort and easily located to all the attractions like coco bongo! If you don’t have and activities to attend don’t worry their entertainment team were so fun and amazing! They would tell you what all activities they have going on and include you in them! They’re so nice Mauricio and his team were so fun especially the girls they can dance and get you grooving super fun team! I enjoyed their Zumba class and painting activities :) fun for adults and kids. I am vegan as well and the chefs especially chef Alberto were amazing with being accommodating and making an amazing vegan ceviche to die for. This is my second time in the resort and I took full advantage of their activities and I regret not doing it the first time I visited. Thank you to the entertainment group for making our trip super fun 🩷

  Amazing, fantastic stay!!!

  We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped into the hotel; the hotel scent is so pleasant and relaxing. Hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Resort is small but has everything you need to have an amazing stay, great for families and has activities for everyone all day. My Kids loved the hotel. Location is very central and only walking distance from many other amenities and services. Rooms are dated but I knew that before booking and that was completely overcome by the amazing staff, beautiful pristine beach with clear calm waters and delicious tasting food. Outstanding Service: The true highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff Armando our preferred club concierge deserves special recognition – he was phenomenal, incredibly attentive, and always went the extra mile to make our stay amazing Gerson our preferred club pool and beach server. He loves what he does and that reflects in his passion for making your stay wonderful and memorable. Even though he was our server for only a short time, he left a long-lasting impression. Sergio also our server in the preferred beach area was amazing and attentive to all our needs. Gustavo our preferred beach concierge, is very friendly and went above and beyond to assist us every day, your help was very much appreciated Mario also a preferred beach concierge, very friendly, always smiling and ready to help Yenni bartender in the preferred lunge was very pleasant to talk to Laura el patio waitress, was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs In general, every person that we interacted with was pleasant, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay an extraordinary one. Another thing I like about this hotel is that you don’t need reservations for a la carte restaurant, we were able to eat in each of them every night and food was delicious Things I would love to see in this hotel would be a hot tub in the preferred area, more options on the preferred beach snacks menu and some music on this area as well. Overall, this was an amazing stay for me and my family, and we can’t wait to come back.
