  Excellent Vacation

  First time at Secrets Royal Beach and we had an excellent time. The resort wasn't over crowded but had enough people to make it enjoyable and friendly. Check in was quick and easy and the resort was very well kept. Like the ability to go to the Dreams resort as an add on bonus, but ultimately didn't do it but once. There was no real reason to. The staff was great all around at Secrets and the layout allowed you to pick and choose what level of energy you wanted to experience throughout the day. Between the quiet pool, the large main pool area, the two preferred club pools and the beach, there is something for everyone. Drifters Preferred Club pool was a great place to enjoy good drinks with a good energy level. Hard to get a chair at times, but doable and the infinity pool area opens up more options. They have servers that come there so you don't have to walk to the bar. Sebastian and Obispo make great drinks and are very engaging with everyone. Beach had nice sand and plenty of places to get a lounge chair. Mother nature produces seaweed but it wasn't bad. Food was good. Typical of other resorts in this family and enough options for everyone.

  Your next vacation getaway is here!

  This resort is a great get away. The sand beach is soft and white. They kept it pretty clean. Overall the staff at Secrets was wonderful. Service with smiles. Menu of food options was great. Food was delicious. The rooms were well equipped. Shower was good water pressure and big. Rain shower!! Beds were comfy and pillows nice. Rooms were clean.

  August 2025. Couples getaway.

  Here is my review from our 6 night stay from August 5-11, 2025. We are a couple in our 50’s from Long Island, New York who travel about 4 times per year. We traveled with another couple ( brother in law and sister in law). We booked through a good friend of mine who is a UVC member. She got us amazing rates but we had to commit to the “meeting”. ( more on that at the end) Room- we stayed in a preferred swim out room in building 8. We loved this room and would book it again in a heartbeat! Our rooms were right next to each other which we requested. Our butler was Anabal who was wonderful and very attentive. We had morning sun until about 1pm. Which in August is exactly what we wanted. The shade in our pool in the afternoon was perfect. The pool temps were wonderful! I highly recommend bringing a float. We used them often and we used our swim up pool several times a day and night. We were served cocktails and food by the girls from the preferred pool area. Maria, Patricia, and Esmeralda were all amazing!! These women spoiled us and we can not thank them enough! Restaurants- for breakfast we ate at Rosewater, El Patio ( seaside and oceana were under construction), market cafe, coco cafe and room service. All were wonderful but the best was my omelets at the market cafe. Lunch- preferred beach, el patio, pizza at main pool, floating taco bar at our swimup. The best by far was the floating taco bar. AMAZING!! Than you Javier for preparing it and Anabal for setting it up. Dinner- we ate at Rosewater ( Hindu), portafino twice, Bordeaux twice, and Hitmsu at a regular table. The only we did not like was Hitmsu. All the others were wonderful! Bars- preferred bars were awesome cocktails and service! Pools- we spent most of our time at the preferred pool or our swim up room. We went to the main pool for the live music duos at 3pm which we loved. But otherwise we enjoyed the preferred area. Nightlife- most nights we were tired and back to our rooms by 9 but we did see some entertainment but none that I would rave about. I might add that it would have to be amazing to keep me going after very long and fun days followed by dinner and wine. This is where the swimup pool drew us more than the nightly entertainment. The grounds- everything is beautiful! From the time you step foot into the breathtaking lobby looking directly towards the beach. This resort is lush and tropical. We loved it. The beach- I’ll start with the actual beach. It is beautiful! The soft white, packed sand is very easy to walk on. The loungers are so spaced out you feel very exclusive. The preferred loungers were comfy. The bathroom right by the preferred beach was always clean. The preferred bar was great and had a wonderful lunch buffet. The water was 2 thumbs down…. The sargassum was pretty bad. The resort has a barrier wall which keeps a lot of it away from the resorts beach which was great. It would be a mess if they did not have this. Yes you can walk in the water but it is not the blue Caribbean water that you hope for. But we knew this going in August. If you are not in sargassum season this water would be amazing because it is so calm! Almost like a lake. I will definitely return when it is not sargassum season to experience this! Spa- highly recommend! I did a 90 minute relaxation spa and payed $180. My butler set it up for me the day before and everything was easy and wonderful. The hydrotherapy was good too. Gym- I used the elliptical and weights. Everything was clean and efficient. Service- the service here was top notch! Amazing. Honestly everyone we encountered was so warm and friendly. This is where this resort really stands out. UVC meeting- we scheduled this meeting for first thing in the am so we could get it over with and not have it ruin the day. This meeting was over 3 hours long. We actually considered buying in to it as we travel a lot. We negotiated but ultimately they did not give us what we wanted so did not sign. After speaking to other guests I think we made the right decision because it seemed others got a better price than they offered us.

  Secrets Royal Punta Cana is amazing 👏 The service from Marco was fantastic! The food & drinks did not disappoint. We highly recommend this resort!

  Amazing experience!

  The resort was clean and the staff were very responsive to our needs. We submitted a few maintenance requests and it was fixed in a timely manner. The pool was great and the beach was amazing (white fluffy sand)! The food was pretty good and always fresh. The drinks were made with care and fresh ingredients super delicious! Check-in and check-out was super easy. The shows at night were fantastic. I would return and would recommend this resort to others!
