  There’s no sense of urgency at this hotel—the service is terrible. The food is always cold, bland, and lacks variety.

  We stayed for 4 nights. On the first night, my room had no towels, and despite calling 4 times within 2 hours, it still took them that long to bring some. The food lacked flavor, was always lukewarm, and offered little variety. The staff members also seemed unfriendly and lacked personality.

  Enjoyable stay

  Had a great time at the 'Bahia', as the locals call it. We had 2 rooms in block 16, 5th floor. Rooms were spacious, clean, plenty of drawer and cupboard space, bathroom/shower very clean. Had a small issue with the safe & TV remote control when we arrived and both fixed quickly. In our first week the hotel was very busy, upside was there was a good vibe around the place especially entertainment around the pool and evening on sports bar tetrace, only downside was there was a queue for breakfast and evening meals. We were not put off by that and used opportunity to get to know other guests. Hotel was much quieter in the second week, upside was no meal queues but downside was entertainment was slower even though team put in a valiant effort to keep us entertained. The complex is big so be prepared to do a lot of walking - not a bad thing after eating as much as you can 3 times a day! Not much to do or see outside the hotel so you'll need to get on excursions or charter a driver (our option). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to the Bahia'. Jamaicans are different to most other carribeans and can be perceived as brash at times but if you want to really experience Jamaica roll with it and you'll soon see their desire to ensure you have a good time - that was our experience.

  Excellent Experience at a Great property.

  Great property and excellent customer service. The rooms was clean and spacious. Lots of variety of food to choose from, nice pool and beaches. Big up the Entertainment team great job. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  Heavenly resort! Better than Sandals.

  My favourite resort in Jamaica. I love snorkelling in safe clear water and here it is amazing (luxury side, worth the day pass upgrade believe me), I've seen so many puffa fish and so much gorgeous marine life. The food is GREAT! Typically I'm enjoying my favourite cheeseburgers at lunch plus some jerk chicken then made-to-order shrimp and vegetable pasta for dinner, plentiful wine, luscious chocolate martinis, the pizza great in the Italian restaurant and delicious beef brisket in the steak house. My room is perfect. My favourite staff are Adeque (the Goddess of the resteraunts who runs a tight ship) and lovely Zidine plus Gary at luxury side bar. The tables are always laid so beautifully. I will return here again no question. My only criticism is the truly atrocious Don Pablo resteraunt which is beyond a joke awful.

  Very disappointed in this resort, definitely will not return, and definitely do not recommend

  Very, very disappointed in this hotel. We went on recommendations from a friend who visited multiple times. Our visit was from August 9-16, 2025. Clearly things have gone south since their last visit. Rooms were smelly and moldy, toilets didn't work and the overall condition of the rooms were less than desirable. Attempting to get the rooms switched proved very challenging. Food was subpar, staff were very unfriendly and rude and the Jerk centre should not be allowed to be called "Jerk". Beach was rocky and very uncomfortable to get in and out of. I definitely would NOT recommend this resort, especially because the rate was not "cheap". It gave a 3 star resort feeling, at best. Entertainment was almost non existent, our large group had to use Karaoke as our entertainment, which translates to, "we provided our own entertainment".. and that's only when the equipment actually worked. This trip was truly disappointing, especially because we went for a birthday and anniversary celebration. Management seems uncaring and incompetent, please do better.
