Jun 11, 2025worried about our upcoming reservation
I have been reading reviews on line and am seriously concerned about our upcoming reservation. We will be arriving on June 14th for 7 nts. This place sounds like a horror show. Emailed property to ask about an upgrade and cost, still no reply. That doesn't sit well with me. I am a travel agent and that is not a good sign.

This is a fairly decent 3 star hotel. The ambience is amazing and the staff is very friendly. But the showers are luke warm at best and room service may not pick up. Be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs as there is no elevator. All and all it was an okay stay.

After reading some other reviews I was a bit nervous, but we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. While some rooms and common areas could use updating, they were very clean and comfortable. We had no issues with AC and the room stayed at a comfortable temperature (and one day was insanely humid). The staff and the beaches made up for the outdated surroundings though. The beach was beautiful and clean and every staff member we encountered were phenomenal.

Book elsewhere, complete catfish!
Do not go here unless you’re looking for a fancy motel 6 on the beach, we were catfished with this resort. We actually stayed one night and changed and request requested a refund that we are still hopefully going to receive. The resort is completely rundown and old and our door looked like it had been broken into, we are pretty easy-going people, but traveling to a different country and expecting a beautiful resort and walking into what looks like a scary motel but on a beautiful beach, go elsewhere if you can spend an extra two to $300 if needed you’ll be very upset if you book this resort ; I will however, say they have a beautiful beach but trust me you would rather stay at a different hotel close by and walk to a better beach if needed

Suncape
The Sunscape Resort was better than expected. The beach was nice, but the ocean is rocky. The pool was very nice. The food was good, except the buffet just bland. The coffee shop was great. Novelette at Da Mario Italian restuarant was the best waitress we ate there twice and dined with her both times. Overall it was a great vacation.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
