Overall nice relaxing atmosphere.
Nice smaller resort. Everything is easy to walk to. Restaurants are real close to each other and very clean. Easy walk to the Mambo beach for shopping and the Aquarium is great. Next to Mambo beach.

Sunscape Curacao does not disappoint!!! Loved it!!
We just loved Sunscape Curacao! The beach is off the charts beautiful and the star of the show! Crystal clear turquoise water with a long beach and 3 separate coves. You can literally snorkel right from the beach and see a on of fish in knee deep water! The E Team was exceptional! Cassie, Candy Man, Pencil and Crazy G were so welcoming, fun and genuine. The E team created a large variety of activities for both kids and adults. This was the best Sunscape I have ever been to and I plan on returning. Dominga, our house keeper took outstanding care of us and always went above and beyond with a big smile on her face! Jermaine the security guard also went above and beyond and helped me carry my 3 cappuccinos from the cafe even though I am sure that is not part of his job description! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and kind. As a former manager of an organization, it feels like there is a positive culture among the workers in the resort and I will definitely be back!!

Great Beach!
Fantastic beach access and easy to get beach chairs. If you’re a foodie, this is not the place for you. Food was ok. The best part was the oven front room that walked out on to the beach. The variety of restaurants was nice. Food was average.

Spend your money elsewhere
While the beach is fantastic and has great snorkeling in the lagoon, all other aspects of the hotel range from frustrating to abysmal. Hopefully you won't have any issues with carrying your own bags up three flights of stairs and finding your own way to your rooms because there are no porters to help either when you get there or when you leave. Most of the staff act like we bother them by being there. They will barely acknowledge you and if they do ask you if you need anything, you dont know if they'll bring it to you. We've been sat the buffet, asked a server for water when asked, gottten up to get our food, ate it and left with nothing to drink! The food is repetitive and not that appetizing. The system they have for "specialty" dining is ridiculous - we ourselves, and others experienced wait times of over an hour (sometimes two!) just to be seated. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait, nor was the service any better. Sun club is not worth the expense - room service almost never answer the phone. (Neither does the front desk, by the way) The Sun club area, while quiter than the areas closer to the main areas, is over crowded daily and if you dont get up before sunrise, you will not get a lounger with shade. If you come to the beach after breakfast you'll be lucky to get one at all. Rooms are dated, as many have said - we experienced air conditioning that wasnt working, sink that wasnt draining, and balcony door that wouldt shut properly. In the hotel's defense they did send someone promptly for repairs. We spoke to other Sun club members who experienced worse - bad odors, broken toilets, and no hot water for the entire week. Some positives: the staff at the beach grill were always pleasant and accommodating- Natalie is lovely! We had a lot of our meals there because of the poor experiences we had elsewhere on the resort. The teppanyaki restaurant was good also, but we were literally rushed out after dessert for another sitting to come in. We had an issue with flight cancelation and after a bit of a run around, we found a kind, intelligent and thoughtful person at the front desk who was actually helpful to us - thank you Shelonge - you were the nicest person we met all week and the only one who actually seemed to care about helping a guest. Overall, this resort is very disappointing and I would recommend that you spend your money any where else!
