  Best place

  This hotel is great! They have changed some stuff but still a great place to visit!! Alexis, Nikki, Francis, Ana, la Gavi, from the entertaiment team are awesome!! The people from the Pool Bar, Julio, Yuleysi, Dalisa and Brayan are a 10000 out of 10!! These guys made my stayed amazing! Been here before, food was much better than is not bad now but it was better before. The one thing that left a bitter taste in my mouth was the charge for a 2pm check out. ($10 an hour when the hotel is only at 26% occ) I am a hotelier and this is not acceptable to me but it is what it is.

  “Disappointing: a hotel sold as 5 stars, but far from it”

  I stayed at the Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville, which is advertised as a 5-star hotel, but my experience was far from that level. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, perfect if what you’re looking for is simply a quiet place to rest. The staff were very kind, attentive, and hardworking, and it’s clear they do their best to serve the guests. Unfortunately, the management and overall offerings of the hotel fall short: Evening entertainment: Very poor. The same employees who run daytime activities at the pool are also assigned to the night shows, and the quality suffers as a result. The musical options are limited and unimpressive. Food: Nicely decorated and well presented, but lacking in flavor. The dining experience does not live up to a hotel of this category. Customer service at checkout: Our departure was unpleasant. Although checkout time was at noon, starting at 9:00 a.m. we were repeatedly pressured, in indirect ways, to leave the room, which felt like being pushed out. In conclusion: if you want a nice and quiet hotel to relax in, with friendly and hardworking staff doing their best, this place can serve that purpose. But if you are looking for quality food, enjoyable evening entertainment, and respectful treatment until the end of your stay, this is not the hotel for you. Based on my experience in multiple hotels, this property, at best, deserves 3 stars, and it does not justify the money spent.

  Our Dominican Republic Holiday 2025

  This hotel is fabulous, made even more so when served by Pedro and Celeste in ‘quiet pool’ swim up bar and Glynes and Pedro in the buffet restaurant. All the other staff from maintenance,housekeeping and waiting staff all stop you wanting for anything no matter the time of day. The rooms do need a little updating,but for the actual time you are in them then they are okay (maybe usb points etc). The all inclusive food is fantastic and of very good quality throughout the resort so you won’t ever go hungry. The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to fhe following couple of areas: 1 You can upgrade to a better cut of steak in the themed restaurants for an addition cost, but they don’t tell tell you when you book, that you also need to tell them you want this upgrade, so like me you will be told on the night you can’t have it as you didn’t request it at the time of booking! The unnecessary disappointment could be avoided if the promotion for this was updated and guest relations team remember to tell you this at this instance. 2 Check your room bill carefully as I had extras added to mine that after investigation and accusation was found that the lobby bar had made the mistake 🤔 If the above points are addressed by the management team then this resort does deserve 5 stars all the way as we really did enjoy our 2 week holiday here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!   wonderful trip beautiful place

  Beautiful grounds and beach.We had an amazing time. The staff was awesome even though we had a little language issue.Booking dining was a bit of a problem but our concierge Wander helped with that. He also made a point to pop in at our dinner locations to check on us. Our favorite waiter Pedro remembered our drink choices and and sometimes had them waiting for us.Crepes at french restaurant were amazing and fun to watch them being made.Our room was very cute and comfy. Any problems we had were quickly addressed.It is our habit to tip even though it's included but you can tell how much the staff appreciates that little extra from you. We want them to know they're appreciated.If you have the time take the excursion to Saona!! You won't regret it!!

  9 outer 10 experience , it would not take a lot to get it . I hope you do right.,

  This is my 5th trip here, The hotel great. Entertainment can be poor, food lots of choices. Nice beach, choice of pools, choice of restaurants
