    Amazing waiter

We are in the restaurant capers, the Italian place, and our server Jaime was amazing. He brought us dishes and basically read our minds on what we wanted. He was attentive, our table was full, our cups are full, and our hearts are full. Thank you so much for the amazing experience Trevah! and especially Jamie.

    Avoid UVC!

Resort is nice as long as you buy Preferred section. Food is ok, not best and not worst. They have UVC club there - AVOID at any cost! UVC lied to us and is not worth the cost!!! Do your diligence!! We have been in better resorts that we didn't waste 6 hours on presentation that should last 1,5 hours. UVC is a NO!

    MELVIN MELVIN MELVIN

If money is not a factor, definitely get a cabana for your entire stay if you’re not willing to fight for pool chairs or wake up at 6:00am on your vacation just to save pool chairs. In addition, you will get a pool concierge who will make sure you’ve got everything you need each day. This is our first time at this resort. We are UVC members and we are trying each resort in the library every other month. Our next is Dreams at San Jose Del Cabo in March. That said, we have encountered amazing people/staff at each resort. One that stands out is MELVIN, Pool Concierge at Dreams Jade in Puerto Morelos. During the entire week, Melvin has been there constantly asking if we’re ok or if we need anything. If the service is not met by the pool servers, he will get on them to make sure they’re on top of each. Melvin is a gem. He was supposed to be transferred at the bigger pool but because of his great personality and amazing rapport with the Preferred Guests, he stayed at the Preferred Pool. The Preferred Pool is another review in itself. Anyways, you can certainly tell if Melvin is not around. During his day off (Thursday), service went down tremendously. We didn’t get our order and the wait for drink took almost 30 mins. Don’t want to throw anyone under the bus, but I think that is more of a training issue. Melvin needs to be trained as an Assistant Manager or Pool Concierge Manager. He can be a great example to the other staff not up to par on customer service. Melvin is amazing and I am sure if you encounter him during your stay you will feel the same. ROBERTO (Melvin’s Supervisor) you need to make him an assistant manager and have him train your staff.

    Wonderful Getaway! Highly recommend.

Dreams Jade resort and Spa exceeded expectations. We had read the reviews and they were so so. I would say that this resort is a 10 out of 10. The food was excellent! We were able to dine at four out of the five specialty restaurants and they all stood out as wonderful. The buffet also excellent. Great choices, especially if you like Mexican food. There was the barefoot Grill and castaways which were mainly poolside and for lunch once again 10 out of 10. Lots of variety and delicious. We loved our room which was large and had two sinks, so we didn’t have to share. There was a sunken living room and a lovely patio overlooking the water and the pool. No complaints. We had coffee and pastries delivered to the room every morning, which showed up on time when we requested them. Very easy to use the app and schedule it the night before. I wish I could remember the names of the servers that brought it to our room, but they were always very pleasant and efficient. Our favourite part of the resort was the pool. There were actually three pools in the main area all offering different things. The pool we chose to frequent was the one furthest away from the action, but it had the infinity edge overlooking the ocean. The Drink service at the pool 12 out of 10. Israel took care of us three out of the five days we were there and he was excellent at remembering our drink orders, coming around regularly, and making sure we were doing OK. The grounds at the resort were very well kept. Although it seemed big it was actually very manageable to get around and felt very quaint. All in all, I would highly recommend this resort and we are already planning to go back one day.

    Made great friends

We had a great time at the resort & made great friends with Oscar "Panda" at the Moments bar, Leopoldo at the Mix Bar/Pool bar & Francisco at the Lobby bar. Awesome bartenders! Very friendly. We'd go back to spend time with them. They made our stay unforgettable.
