family vacation done right!
we stayed here almost 15 years ago on our honeymoon and we decided to take our girls this year. it was a special trip after all. the hotel was still stunning. very clean outside. excellent service by the staff. we got upgraded to ocean view room. the staff made sure to make us feel special especially my 10 year old daughter since it was her birthday upon arrival. the food was great drinks were great. we loved the kids club especially. the girls were extremely awesome! ANA, ELY, JOHANA, MIRIAM were amazing!!!! thank you girls! my only negative review were the rooms. they are very in need of updating. upon arrival the room was kind of dirty, ounce I addressed it with the housekeeping team it was much cleaner. but overall the rooms were a big disappointment. the property is very nice and I feel like the room will bring down the ratings of this resort. I hope in the future they will update the rooms. thank you Dreams Jade for Wonderfull stay other wise!!!

Incredible Staff, but Horrendous Food – Not Worth the Price
I recently spent my Thanksgiving holiday at Jade Resort. While the staff were incredible, the overall experience was let down significantly by the food quality. For the price paid (and points redeemed), this property simply isn't worth it. I honestly wish I had chosen a different resort for the holiday. The Food: To be blunt, the food at all specialty restaurants (except CinCin) was horrendous. Spice (Japanese): A major letdown. The portions were small, the sushi tasted like a sponge, and even the soup—a simple recipe—was bad. We didn't try the hibachi, but the a la carte options were not appetizing. Even the appetizers were bad; the spring rolls had a strange mix inside that I couldn't even finish. Surprisingly, the spring rolls served by the Privilege Club pool were better than the ones in the actual restaurant. The Italian Restaurant: The penne pasta was inedible. Worse, the shrimp risotto had a weird smell and the shrimp tasted expired. It was genuinely concerning. The Buffet: Very basic and tasteless. The Saving Grace (CinCin): The only good meal we had was at CinCin. The Chicken Marsala was delicious, and the Balsamic Shrimp was excellent (ironically, the risotto served here was far better than at the actual Italian restaurant). The Beach & Pool: If you are a beach person, be aware that the beach area is very small. The water also wasn't as clear as I have experienced at other resorts in Cancun. However, the pool is heated, which felt very relaxing and comfortable for this time of year. Recommendation: Stick to room service; it is by far the best option for meals here. However, if you are planning to spend 3+ days here, it doesn't make sense to book a resort where you are forced to rely on room service just to get a decent meal. The Staff: The service is the one thing keeping this from being a 1-star review. Housekeeping & Maintenance: The staff was super nice. We had a small lizard in our room and the technicians were fast to respond. They safely removed the lizard without harm and placed it on a wall outside so it could go live its merry little life. Room service was fast, as was the delivery of requested amenities. Hospitality: Nora and Martin showed amazing hospitality throughout our stay. The drinks by the pool were great and staff made their rounds every 20 or so minutes. Safety: A special shout-out to Luis (the lifeguard). We had a small medical concern, and Luis was quick to respond and took care of us with total professionalism. Pro Tip: If you are looking for some quiet, child-free downtime by the pool, head over to the Privilege Club pool area. No one actually checks if you have access, so anyone can use it.

Great experience at Dreams
Perfect for family and with the all inclusive it's a way to go . Cancun is very expensive for tourists. The restaurant options are amazing. We love the Italian and French restaurant with quick service and the great food. I feel like they can improve the asian menu but there's 5 restaurants to choose from including the buffet. There's so many things to do to choose from in the resort, it's just a bummer the tennis courts are under renovation when we get there. Overall, the place is great we just didn't like the timeshare presentation. The service is great. Great employees and very attentive.
