This is the cleanest and most friendliest resort I have ever been too. Everyone goes above and beyond so that you can enjoy every second of your trip. The room was super clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. This is a chill vibe resort with not many activities on premises and things due pretty early but great for relaxation. Ohh and they have a crew constantly cleaning the sargassum, making the beach remain as clean as possible and you can enjoy its beauty.

Can’t Wait to Go Back!!
We came here for our family vacation, and our initial concern was food…we were not sure how good it would be…it was SOOOO delicious…every restaurant was PHENOMENAL. We were hoping that there would be a special Dominican restaurant with authentic Dominican cuisine…that would be our only complaint. From check in to check out, the service was phenomenal…Our concierge Yafreisi was so attentive…the entertainment was great. “Ice Cube” was the best! 😄

Mr & Mrs Merlot go to the beach
This was our sixth visit to this resort and everything was excellent as always. The staff went out of their way to make us feel extra special. Other guests were asking us what our secret was and we explained that if you treat the staff like your best friend by the time you go home, they will be. There are far too many names to mention, but it would be remiss of us not to pick out Marcia and Saidy at the Rosewater bar, Manuel, Sandy and Ariel at the Manatees bar, Reyes and the team at the Barracuda bar and Augustine and the crazy guys at the lobby bar. If you can't see what you would like to drink, ask for something special, they are only too pleased to surprise you. All the food in all the restaurants is excellent, our favourites were the Oceana, the Bordeaux and Portofino, with special thanks to Omar, Clarisa and again Saidy for the best seats in the house. The hidden gem, food wise, for this hotel is lunchtime on the beach where Victor freshly cooks paella, jambalaya, BBQ and hamburgers etc, something different every day. The most beautiful dining room you could imagine. The live entertainment at this resort also deserves a special mention, with music around the pools, lobby bar and especially the Queen and Beatles tribute shows in the theatre, with many reminders from La Diva to attend! Many thanks also go to the maintenance team, gardeners, pool staff and housekeeping for their excellent service and Gerardo, our concierge, for being on hand should we have needed him. Finally, special thanks to Queibel and Todman at the water sports centre, who keep the beach very clean, the water sports equipment up to scratch and are on hand for First Aid duties. The only down side is that the Hobie Cat Wave catamaran was still out of commission (unsafe to sail), making this our second visit where we couldn't go sailing as advertised. Despite this we will be back at this resort in October this year and are very much looking forward to it and meeting up with all the friendly staff again. It truly is a very special place.

Great service, good food, great stay!
My wife and I spent our honeymoon here for 6 nights and we had a great stay. We stayed in a Tropical View King with Preferred Club access. The Preferred Club is definitely worth it in our opinion. First, our butler Philippe was amazing, taking care of anything we needed and just being a friendly face who checked in on us every day. We really don’t have much if anything to complain about with our whole stay. The food overall was a lot better than the last resort we stayed at in Punta Cana, there was a good amount of entertainment for a relaxing trip. It’s certainly not a party resort but there is a lot of activity at the main pool during the day and fun things to do after dinner. Highlights were the fire show and the silent disco. Overall, we had a great time and will likely be back if we come back to the DR.
