Highly recommend Secrets Cap Cana. Relaxing, beautiful, and wonderful place for a vacation. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Staff is warm, welcoming and truly wants to make your vacation a great experience. Kerlin Hernandez and Angelo Mercedes were amazing and took great care of us during our stay. I would definitely go back for vacation.

Best Birthday Ever at Secrets Cap Cana
My fiancé and I recently traveled to Secrets Cap Cana in Punta Cana to celebrate my 56th birthday. Our stay was beyond magical. Everything/everyone far exceeded our expectations. This is my second trip there and we will definitely be coming back. If you are on the fence about going to this resort. I will tell you that you will not be disappointed. We loved it!!!

Amazing time
Everything was great. The staff was extremely helpful, attentive, and pleasant. The food was plentiful and delicious. We had a fun time participating in the games and activities. I want to highlight Francisco and Casandra at the Rosewater for making sure we were always well taken care of. Also special thanks to Enrique for consistently checking in and making sure our stay was a spectacular as it could be.

40th Wedding Anniversary and Birthday in Paradise
My wife and I (along with her sister and our brother-in-law) stayed at Secrets Cap Cana for 12 nights over the end of August to early September and had a fantastic holiday celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and my 64th birthday. The weather was very hot and humid with very little rain, which was a surprise considering it was the middle of hurricane season. I would say that the resort is quite compact, nowhere was too far to walk to in the heat of the day, which was a great plus. Our swim out room was a reasonable size and had everything we needed, the grounds were very well maintained, the free form pool was huge (which had the games and noise at one end and allowed for a quieter section at the other), and the beach was lovely (apart from the sea which was sadly covered in sargassum and made it almost impossible to swim in). The buffet for breakfast and lunch was excellent, with the a-la-carte restaurants also very good but they could do better. One of the most annoying things is that if you wanted lobster for dinner it was an $85 extra, which considering the total cost of the holiday i think this is plain greed from the resort. The best thing about this resort is the staff that look after your every requirement, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and everyone had a smile on their face (except for the miserable female desk attendant at the Japanese restaurant). In particular: - A massive thank you to Narquel on the reception desk of the buffet restaurant was absolutely lovely and made us laugh every day (whilst being heavily pregnant and clearly struggled some days). My wife and her sister who travelled with us established a special bond with Narquel and we hope to see some pictures of the baby soon. - Thanks to Manuel, our concierge, who arranged whatever we requested and we had a good conversation every morning. - Thanks to Patricia, our pool bar waitress, who kept us supplied with Francisco Specials, Pina Coladas, Mango Tangos and much more (especially rum), what a lovely lady, always happy and smiling - Steven, our pool towel and umbrella guy, a lovely young man who so wanted to help with anything Some small niggles that I think would have made the experience much better: 1. The sunbeds around the pool are crammed in where there is hardly any space for anyone to walk around the bed let alone get past to enter the pool 2. The resort is about 8 or 9 years old now and that showed quite a lot in the maintenance required in many areas, additionally, many sunbeds needed replacing as they were falling apart. 3. The a-la-carte restaurant staff should learn to wait until everyone on the table has finished their course before removing their plates. It's not good etiquette to take plates away whilst others are still eating and it makes it feel very rushed. All of that said, we enjoyed every minute at Secrets Capa Cana (it was our 4th time to a Secrets resort) and ranks as one of the best we have ever stayed in. For anyone who spent the same time at the resort as we did we would be remembered as the "British Colony" who took over the quiet end of the pool, made it slightly noisier, almost started an inflatable hire business, and had some great laughs with lots of new friends.

Great time
Beautiful hotel and great staff. We loved our staff awesome food and the accommodations were above and beyond what we expected. Meals on the beach and a great juice bar with fresh drinks.
