Sep 10, 2025Had a BLAST playing in he Cabo Curling Tournament at The RIU
A bunch of us came down to play in the Cabo Curling Tournament held at the RIU September 4-6, 2025. What a GREAT event and the RIU Hotel was awesome.... Great food, great drinks. Thanks to the bar staff at the Tequila Bar, where the event was held. We are hoping the Riu will host the event again in the next year or two. Special thanks to Randy, one of the hosts of the event!

Sep 08, 2025It is huge resort, and that could be a problem for some
It is huge hotel with breathtaking view of the arc. Several bars, restaurants and pools. The staff is friendly and the hotel recently was renewed. However, there a few inconveniences, because of its size, there are lot of guests so the time for the check in/ check out processes could take more than a few minutes, the distance from some of the villas to the beach/pool or a specific restaurant or bar could be far away, there are several villas with 3-4 floors each, but only the villa 7 has elevator. Only the ”Sports bar” is open 24/7 so t midnight it could be a bit crowed. If you accept and can live with those conditions the resort is still highly recommendable.

Sep 06, 2025Beautiful turquoise ocean with 10 feet tall waves.
First of all, no one is mentioning in Los Cabos You won’t be able to swim in the beautiful turquoise waters because the waves are 10 feet tall and when you are on the beach on the sand, just taking a picture you will feel like you are criminal. They’re gonna whistle-hunt you down to get out of that beach .Just taking a picture on the sand not to mention if you want to put your feet in the water for two seconds. The resort Rio Santa Fe is beautiful resort beautiful rooms clean plenty space in the restaurant on the beach chairs, plenty towels that is a big plus you don’t have to run to reserve a beach chair or stay in a line to get meal. Sport bar should be open 24 hours but yet no refills until after 8 am. Very poor draining system little rain and everywhere is floating in the restaurant buffet walk ways and room hallways.

Riu Santa Fe resort- Cabo
I visited Riu Santa Fe last week and had a wonderful experience. The resort offered a wide variety of restaurants, food options, entertainment, and concerts. The staff were very courteous and helpful-especially Danny at Margaritas reception area. Who was exceptionally knowledgeable and considerate. I would highly recommend Riu Santa Fe to everyone without any reservations.

Great deal, incredible beauty
A fabulous place; the natural beauty of the area is stunning, the water slides super fun, the food and drink abundant, the room large, clean, & equipped with room darkening blinds, and the theater performance enjoyable. Highlights were dinner overlooking the enormous pool at night (magical!) and a water taxi tour of the cabo. We walked down the beach and for just $100 for the whole family of 4 spent two hours out touring and snorkeling the turquoise waters and incredible rock formations.

3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
