Decent stay, but overpriced for the experience
We recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Aruba as a family of four. While the highlight was definitely the access to the private Renaissance Island — especially the iconic flamingos — the overall experience didn’t quite match the price tag. Our main disappointment was the service upon arrival. Despite our booking clearly being for four people, the sofa bed wasn’t made. We had to go down twice in the evening to reception to request it, and in the end, we had to set it up ourselves. For a hotel in this price range, that kind of oversight is frustrating and not acceptable. On the upside, for those who like to keep up the work out through the Summer, the gym room is very well equipped and modern. The location is convenient and the private island is a unique perk, but beyond that, the value for money simply wasn’t there. A decent stay, but we expected more attention to detail and better service at this level.

Who needs the hubbub of the high rise area -- this is our favorite escape!
We’ve stayed at the Marriott Wind Creek Resort in August 2023 and December 2024—and we’re already booked to return this August. It’s hands down our favorite place to stay in Aruba. The location is perfect. While it’s not in the high-rise hotel zone, that’s actually part of the appeal—it's quieter, more relaxed, and still super easy to access everything. You’re close to great restaurants, shopping, and best of all—Renaissance Island. Having access to the private island (yes, with the flamingos!) is a total game changer and worth it alone. We've splurged on a private cabanas several times—definitely pricey, but absolutely worth every penny for the peace, service, and views. The resort itself is beautiful and the staff go above and beyond every time. Everything is clean, modern, and well taken care of. We can’t wait to go back again this summer!

No regrets, core memory for life formed. I LOVE ARUBA! Thanks Renaissance! Thank you JP!!
My first ever trip ever to Aruba! Its amazing how the Aruban government doesn't advertise to America its such a memorable place! This is the resort to stay at! Renaissance Wind Creek Resort in Aruba is one of the best places I've ever stayed at in the world! It has to be the real warmth of the people besides the courtesy, helpfulness and genuine kindness with at home humor and candor. And I've stayed at top hotels in Korea, Taiwan as well as traveled to Tulum Japan and elsewhere! The first impression is always the most important and that impression was made by Jean Pierre aka JP if you been to Aruba and stayed at Renaissance Wind Creek at the Ocean suites or Marina side you've got to have noticed the larger than life friendly giant with a booming voice that represents the warm welcome of not only Renaissance Wind Creek resort but Aruba. I'd reckon that he should be on social media and TV marketing to represent the resort as well as the island. He was always available to ask questions and freely gave tips and even shared local Aruban events so that I knew what else I could do. He introduced my group to Aquarius and I must say that it is one of the best experiences of my culinary life. You can't go wrong staying at Renaissance Wind Creek resort its near and dear to me now and I think they should be advertising to Taiwan, Japan and Korea. Thank you Renaisance Wind Creek and thank you Jean Pierre (JP!) This one goes into core life memory. What a trip worth going on and what a beautiful island country and people! A true ambassador for a nation. If you see JP tell him Frank said Hi brother! Thanks for reading this!

Amazing resort and vacation
We stayed at this beautiful hotel 20 years ago for our honeymoon, and this year we decided to return to celebrate our anniversary, our daughters’ graduation, and the big 5-0 and we were not disappointed! We paid a little extra for the all-inclusive package, and it was absolutely worth it. All of the restaurants were fantastic, and the staff were truly amazing. We especially loved Fresco for dinner and ended up dining there twice—shoutout to the lovely Paula, who took great care of us both times. At Solo, Junior, Tessil, and Carlos were outstanding, always smiling and quick to serve up a great cocktail. The highlight for our girls was visiting Flamingo Island every day. The bartenders and wait staff there were also top-notch and made the experience even more memorable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tidied up daily. This trip brought back so many memories and created even more. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Ticking on the boxes at The Renaissance
Our accommodation we’re lovely. I was hesitant to book on the family side because I thought there’d be noise on the floor . However I was impressed. Clean rooms lovely atmosphere. Please try the dynamic duo on Flamingo Cove for massages . Outstanding service by Malvo and Angelique.
