We chose Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres / TRS Coral for our destination wedding and were excited going in, but the room-block and reservations process turned out to be incredibly stressful. Early on, the booking link for our guests stopped working after only a few people were able to reserve rooms. Although the issue was acknowledged, the online booking option was never fully restored. For the remainder of the process, guests had to email reservation requests and wait for manual confirmation, which caused delays and made several guests hesitant to book — especially those traveling internationally. We were also reassigned multiple reservations coordinators, which led to inconsistent communication, unanswered emails, and confusion around room counts and confirmations. Despite these challenges, full financial penalties were later applied for unbooked rooms, even though the unguaranteed rooms were never released back into inventory and the booking issues were documented. We did our best to communicate clearly and in good faith throughout, but the lack of system reliability and coordination between departments created unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time. The property itself is beautiful, but coordination and management is subpar to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend having any kind of event here.

On the bucket list
We are the best meal with pasta and cheese bowl and a tiramisu with fire. The food was incredible. The wait staff was really really good.

Horrible
Got glass in my foot (that had apparently been reported as broken and staff did not put a sign out or clean). I had to get stitches it was very bad. The hotel took no accountability, showed no remorse, and was actually extremely rude. They acted all friendly up until the moment I got badly injured due to their mistake. Not even a "sorry". The butler's were great, and most the other staff, but managment was incredibly horrible and I would NEVER recommend this place. It was day 3 of my 10 day honeymoon, which means all my plans have been ruined because can barely walk on my foot. For such a wealthy resort, they wouldn't even help pay for the ride to the hospital ! So cheap, and incredibly embarrassing for them honestly. They should be so ashamed and I am still considering whether or not I want to sue them. I just despise them so much I dont even want to acknowledge their existence anymore.

Wonderful meal at La Boheme!
We had a wonderful meal at La Boheme and Gonzalo provided exemplary service. My gluten free needs were well looked after, which can be a challenge with French cuisine. Thank you! The French onion soup and lamb entree wer especially delicious.
