Wonderful resort
Wonderful hotel with excellent friendly staff. Food is good, drinks are good, everyplace is super clean. This hotel is very quiet and spread out. The neighboring divi resort is more lively. So you can choose your style but they run shuttles between the resorts. So if you’re in Tamarijn and want lively music just go to divi

Thanks Darry for a great time.
Place was nice, people were the friendliest I’ve ever met in a vacation both employees, islanders and guest. But our favorite person on the resort was Darry, he shuttles you between Divi & Tamarijn. We enjoyed his company so much my husband wanted to take the ride so he could hangout with Darry. 🤭

Lovely Experience with Highlights, but Not Perfect. I'd choose Divi next time!
Overall: Tamarijn has gorgeous views, good amenities, and friendly service in many areas, but some drawbacks around check-in, comfort, and dining. I enjoyed my stay, but next time in Aruba, I’d choose to stay at Divi for its more upscale feel and beautiful, swimmable beach. The Good: The room was very clean and comfortable, with a spectacular turquoise ocean view right out the window. I loved having a pool directly across from my room and the Bunker Bar nearby for convenience. The activity desk was a great perk—you can sign out e-bikes, floaties, and snorkel gear. The concierge team was extremely helpful; they booked me on a private sail with Tropical Sailing Aruba (only 8 people, amazing food, and a fantastic crew—highly recommend!). Dining highlights included Margot, where the tapas were absolutely delicious and they accommodated my seafood allergy beautifully, and the poolside bar and grill, which had solid food and well-made cocktails. The Not-So-Good: Check-in was frustrating—it took over 40 minutes because they struggled to assign me a king bed, repeatedly offering a double queen despite me traveling alone. The bed itself was also too hard and not comfortable. The biggest drawback: the beach at Tamarijn isn’t swimmable. You need to walk about 10 minutes to Divi beach, which is lovely but not right outside your door. Dining was hit or miss—Ginger was decent but not memorable, while the Italian restaurant was very poor (food, drinks, and service)

Construction site in the middle of the resort with demolition noise day and night
Management ignores guests. The management ordered construction job right in the center of the resort, replacing tiles with power hammers, tile saws, etc. For a few nights already, with complete ignorance to the current guests. It is like you are having vacation in the middle of the construction. Day and night. The management ignores multiple complaints.

Birthday Bust!
We booked our stay at the Tamarijn and Divi Hotel in Aruba from August 27–31 to celebrate two very special birthdays—my husband’s 50th and my son’s 14th. Leading up to our trip, I began email correspondence with the concierge on July 16 to arrange birthday celebrations and special requests. After one initial response from a gentleman, communication stopped completely, despite my sending seven follow-up emails. When I inquired about this upon arrival, I was told the gentleman was no longer employed there. I asked if anyone else from the concierge team had access to the emails, and the response was shocking—they said no one checks the concierge emails. This begs the question: why provide a concierge email address at all if no one is monitoring it? Upon check-in, our room was incorrect, and I had to practically tip the front desk agent to finally receive the room I had initially paid for. The issues didn’t stop there: • The in-room coffee maker didn’t work, and instead of replacing it, I was told to go to the lobby for coffee. • The safe was not operational. • Calls to housekeeping and room service to fix the toilet went unanswered. My family and I travel internationally at least four times a year and are very simple travelers. We don’t ask for much—just the basics of what we’ve paid for. Unfortunately, this property did not meet even those expectations. The food was mediocre, the service was mediocre, and the hospitality fell far short of what you’d expect for such an important trip. This was a disappointing experience during what should have been a very special celebration for my family. Sadly, I cannot recommend the Tamarijn, and we will not be returning.
