We love this hotel and this was our 3rd time staying here. The staff are amazingly super helpful, the food is fantastic a fantastic choice of Jamaican food (the best hotel) - big up to the chefs and servers - housekeeping excellent, front desk excellent, bar tenders, entertainment team - everyone and we will definitely be going back. There are two very small niggles and that is we were disappointed the White Party had moved inside, it used to be held on the beach, we don't know if there was a health and safety issue (which is acceptable) but the beach gave the party a real Caribbean feel, which is a pity. Also we felt there was not enough music of black origin played i.e. reggae music, R n B etc. in the end we took a taxi to local lounge bars to listen to more of what we expected to hear in Jamaica. I think this opinion was shared amongst other guests. The Sports Bar music had much more appeal .

Riu Ochi Rios Amazing!!
Lovely hotel. Very clean. So much to do day and night. Food was out of this world, something for everyone no matter your taste buds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Location is perfect if you want to venture out. Right on the beach and plenty of sunbeds! Many pool areas to choose from. Hotel have registered taxi drivers to take you and pick you up 24hrs a day! Special thanks to Garnett and Lou. Also Jessica who serviced our room daily to perfection.

Exceeded my expectations
No complaints about the resort. The only thing that spoiled the holiday was the Nexus transfer company. I booked my departure for 11am. I showed up at 10:30 and they said the bus had already left. They said there’s only one transfer and it leaves at 9:45am. I showed them my receipt and they didn’t care. They told me to order a taxi (which was $140). What made it worse, they were so rude when speaking to me. Not sure why they didn’t just send an email letting me know that the only departure option was 9:45am. Fortunately a family members that was also staying at the hotel had cash otherwise I would’ve been stuck as I didn’t not have enough cash to pay for a $140 taxi.

Holiday stay
Brilliant hotel! Staff are always helpful and extremely attentive. The beach front is gorgeous and the pools are perfect for their purpose. The food is excellent, always plenty to choose from a variety of countries.

Great stay, but my room 3117 had a little smell l like settle water real horrible the smell but everything else was
Great stay we came before and came back everything was great but our room 3117 had a smell when we close and come back in like water that settle somewhere sewer it didn't have a good smell , but room were clean , I recommend this place to so much people in Canada food was excellent time was just too short and the rain took some of our time away , will sure tell others about it also front desk crew was great Riu my home away from home bless you all , waitress and housekeepers was great always moving thanks for a great stay . I don't know what cause the smell in that room but need to check out bless you
