    Amazing staff and resort!

    Another Incredible time at this resort! Beautiful amenities, delicious food and the staff!! They are my favorite part. While everyone exceeded my expectations, some who stood out are: entertainment staff-Guppy, Gasolina, Peluche, Aroboy, Nicky, Baby, Axel, Angelo, and Yazmin. Servers-Yoel, Faustino, Franci and our favorite pool waitress Mailen. I can’t wait to come back!

    We stayed at this Hotel in October17th till 24th 2025. We celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary. Our experience with Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Barbados, Jamaica and so on over 30 years traveling 2, 3 times a year. We stayed at many preferred clubs at the different hotels chain. HILTON, you have a brilliant concierge, Gustavo Luis. Don’t lose him! He is very competent and have some special charisma and ability to resolve any issue. Around him, you feel as a member of his family. If he sees you, he will never pass you, always say some good words and ask you, if you need any help. He was helping us to do reservation for our big family of 23 people for dinners. My son came and he has an issue with his knee and could stay just at the first floor. He saw us and helped us to resolve this issue in couple minutes. Any issue we had, we contacted him immediately and he help us to resolve all the problems, even he was not on the premises of the hotel. Gustavo, we cannot thank you enough for everything you had done for us. You became a member of our big family. Thank you, thank you again. You must promote him to be a manager of the customer service to help trained your team. He is the best concierge , we ever had. Now about Hotel. The Grounds: A Overall the resort grounds are immaculate. The Beach: A+ Near perfection. Calm turquoise clear water, clean white sand. It rarely gets better than this. You don’t have to wake up on the early side (by 7:30) to claim a good spot, as you must do at the similar resorts. You always can find the palapas or covered spots to have a shade. The Staff: A Staff members at the buffet Briahn (sorry if I spell your name incorrectly), was very helpful and friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job. Thank you very much for our morning, Mango Juice for our grand kids and us it was a special touch. We missed it a lot. The Room: B We had a suite. Air condition was ice cold. One advice, use the option dry instead of cold and it will be more comfortable in the room. Good news, no smell, like at the other hotels. The room was a pleasant surprise and very comfortable a king bed mattress. The mini fridge was always stock. You have a hair comb and supply for shoes and toothbrush shaving razor, shower cap. The only issue we had it was not clean for two days. We asked to give us extra towels, and it was delivered in 5 minutes. Thank you very much for quick respond. The shower draining did not operate properly. We talked with the front desk, and nothing was resolved. Next day we went to the preferred club representative, and they said they will take care after 7:00am next day (we were agreed) nothing was done again until we asked to help our concierge Gustavo Luis, our life’s saver. Cons: Hilton, it is so sad that in 21 century your Wi-Fi is so bad. You can say no Wi-Fi at all. if you watched movies or TV, it was dropping a signal every 2 minutes. It did not matter if you use it at the beach or in the room. On a way home,our flight was cancelled and Delta Airline transfer us to the Dreams Hotel in Cap Canna. We did not have this issue over there. Go to Catalonia or Iberostar next door and ask them what service they use. We never had a problem over there. The huge problem: we stayed at this hotel 23 people, all our family and 80% got sick. It is some problem with water or what kind water you use at the bars. Our experience with the Caribbean islands is over 30 years and we never had an experience like that. We are very careful with the water and consuming only bottle water. if you really want to introduce this Hotel as Hyatt chain, you must resolve this problem. I saw complains from people at the TripAdvisor web side but did not think it would be so bad. It is the only thing, will keep us stay away from this resort.

    Amazing resort with amazing staff!

    Dreams Dominicus La Romana was great. The staff was amazing, always helpful, cleaning the pools and beach so they're ready every day. Food was great and it was a relaxing time for all of us!

    Helpful staff & lovely beach

    All staff were friendly & helpful. We upgraded to Preferred when we arrived and they were very happy to help. Beach is amazing & hopefully we will get to go back soon & make more memories

    Great value for money

    Great value for money. Concierge service provided by Ada was fantastic. Kids club, with the excellent support by Yafre was something our daughter enjoyed lots. We used the spa services and Alba was great too! Some additional comments: 1. initially our room was close to the Plaza Mayor, which was noisy by night due to some shows taking place there. Our concierge helped us to move to a quieter room. 2. Asian restaurant, unless you take the hibachi, is a low point. Rest of restaurants are great. 3. Kids club was a big plus for us. Staff was always around, inviting kids to join with a great attitude. Yafre, specially, was fantastic. 4. Sargasum was not a big deal, with the exception of one day after a night storm. Beach is generally clean this time of the year, compared to other resorts along the coast.
