  Doesn't matter how old you are, you are still young enough to delight and be delighted. It is your time now, ENJOY!

  The area was magnificent and huge and the great thing about it is it was all inclusive and adults only. So many things to do and see. The food was fantastic and plentiful (super kudos to the chefs :)). I went there as a birthday present from my cousin, and I found the property just so delightful, colorful and relaxing. The staff there was always so helpful and polite. I turned 67 and they still sang me my happy birthday, and I blushed like a little girl. This is the first time I went to the Dominican Republic, but I have a feeling, it won't be the last.

  Dominican amazingness

  Great resort. Adults only ! Quiet but adult loud (lol). Was good to get away from a cold Canadian winter. Resort overall delivered what we expected. Our only issue is that it's part of a massive complex so as we get older and only for that reason we would go to a smaller resort.

  Amazing resort, a bit to big for my liking, but amazing hotel.

  I was there on May 30 for 1 week. For me personally the place is too big, but this is my first time at a huge complex. The cleanliness is out of this world! The bar staff was amazing. The beach, meh, a lot of seaweed but they did their best to keep on top of it, but it's just nature so not much they can do. The food options were so good! The reception area was fantastic! If I could put this resort on a Cuba beach, I wouldn't go anywhere else ever again!! My room!!!, OMG was beautiful!! It was spotless and fully stocked everyday!! The maid staff was absolutely fantastic!! The staff work so hard to make sure you have an exceptional time there!!

  Disappointed - needs updates badly

  The resort is large and has lots of selection and verity for food and activities. The hotel needs a refresh, lots of things broken and outdated. We had one couple in our group who didn't have a working fridge the entire week despite multiple times calling and coming to fix it. In our room our toilet didn't work. After three repair men and several phone calls they finally fixed it. but the WORSE part of all... Our son was set to purpose to his girlfriend, so he booked a romantic dinner on the beach at a price of $55 USD per person. His girlfriend is a vegetarian, so he made sure to inform everyone involved that there was a meal restriction. Dorka, the women who helped him arrange everything was amazing! She reached out the the chef, and asked us to come back the next day to approve the menu, which we did. The chef had a detailed list of foods he would serve, we looked over the ingrediencies and approved the menu. Sadly the day of the proposal, down at the beach, not a single person knew about the special meal...My son and his girlfriend were left sitting with no food for a long time while they figured out what to do...Nothing that Dorka arranged was communicated to the people at the beach. They just started bringing plates of vegetables to the table. It was a MESS! Good thing is, my son still purposed and she said yes, but the meal itself was ruined!! For an adults only - 5 star hotel, I expected them to have their stuff together and be on top of this stuff. I wish I could tell you that was the only incident, but sadly it wasn't...They do not accommodate meal requests well what so ever. Most do not know what vegetation means. We also had a member of our group who had a seed allergy, which she stated at the beginning of each meal to the server, but still meals came with seeds. So disappointed in this. These things are major things that need to be addressed. Had our person with the allergy, eaten the seeds it would have been a trip to the hospital!! Food allergies should not be taken lightly. After the beach incident, I went back to Dorka and told her what happened. She was shocked and apologies intensely. I also addressed the issue with Orlay who assured me he would inform the managers that this happened and get to the bottom of it. Sad part is... my son still paid the $55USD per person, at check out. They didn't even take off the girlfriends meal or should I say plate of vegetables! So expensive for a plate of vegetables. They could have served her pasta or something more substantial for the price they paid. Not only that, but they could have potentially messed up the most important moment in my sons life - the Purposal! First time to this resort, it should not be listed as a 5 star. They need to educate the staff on allergies and food restrictions. If you have allergies or food restrictions I would avoid this resort or make sure you check your food carefully before eatting.

  Outdated needs updating rooms

  Rooms are outdated and require upgrading, grounds where kept clean and tidy, would not recommend this holiday if you want some where to relax as alot of pool activities and shouting throughout the day and night from other guest, staff worked hard throughout the day, resturant is very repetitive with meals throughout the day and night, also other guests using hands instead of utensils when picking up food which is very unhygienic. Used a couple of ala carte restaurants when staying at the resort, where service was amazing and staff go out there way to make you feel welcome. Had a few issued where maintenance had to be called but due to issues and language barriers it took a while to get sorted and a couple of times this weren't sorted at all. Had problems with the jets coming off the hydrobath and were unable to use the bath with the jets running all holiday.
