We love Bahia Principe Aquamarine. We have been there at least 10 times. We have booked February 2026 and April 2026. Looking forward to our trip.

Amazing stay
Amazing stay! I stayed at Bahia Principe Aquamarine in July 2024 and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious with great variety, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and very relaxing. Highly recommend this resort – I’d love to come back!

Tbh I wouldn't go back to this resort. The dinner reservations were hard to get if you didn't book like a week before your stay (once you check in online/app) and staying at the Aquamarine was nice for adults only but you couldn't enjoy all the restaurants/buffets so that was annoying. The place was so massive with all the separate resorts on the property and sometimes created confusion on pickup for excursions and so forth and needed shuttles to go most places (beach etc). If you book any excursions not from Bahia reps they won't let those drivers pick you up inside so you have to go to the way far main gate and wait outside the resort for pickup. Food was mediocre at buffets and rooms needed updating. You only had a sheet to cover up with at night also. And we did have some little any like bugs under the glass covering pur dresser. Air didn't get cold enough either. We still had a fun time and entertainment was really good but I have stayed at other resorts there that I prefer better.

My wife and I went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we had an excellent time. The Food, The Rooms, and the whole resort atmosphere was fantastic. The only thing we did not enjoy was the harassment from the Prestige Club representatives, yes we did take in one of their presentations but turned it down but still after the fact they would still try to persuade us. My wife and I were there on vacation not to be harassed. Other than that the rest of our time at the resort was great.

The resort is average at best, unfortunately for us it was the seaweed season and the beach was covered with seaweeds but the resorts had cleaning in progress during our 10 day stay. This hotel needs more attention to detail such as the staff cleaning the rooms or attending the mini bar we had a non working mini bar for 3 days before someone finally replaced it, we also had a non working air conditioning for 2 days before someone fixed it, our bathroom door rubbed against the floor during our 10 day stay and nobody bothered to repair it, the cleaning of the rooms is not on any particular schedule we had the flag down the lady and ask to have the room cleaned daily, the food at the buffets were good but were luke warm, nightly shows were good, cocktails were good at the lobby, staff were friendly for the most part except the staff pushing the Privilege membership. We did't experience any of the specialty restaurants due to their scheduling.
