Good Not Great
- Good but not great. - Solid food, skip the Mexican restaurant - Beautiful Beach - Great service - Nice not having to worry about work cards - Also great to have the bracelet be the tool key - They try to upsell us on everything - Check-in process tool almost 2 hours since we had to switch rooms. - Everyone works so hard - Rooms need a huge upgrade as it’s outdated

A fun family place + very damp rooms
Overall, this is a great family resort. The pools are fun for kids, and the pristine ocean cannot be beat. Its small enough that it feels safe and accessible. There were a few rainy days and the tiles are very slippery. Indoor floors are also slippery if water is tracked inside. A friendly, family environment is perfect for a family holiday. The food was generally quite good, and we didn't get tired of the buffet as we had at some resorts. My only constructive criticisms are that the rooms are quite basic and even with 'updates' felt somewhat outdated and unfinished. There was a small cupboard door that came right out when we opened it, and some other small unfinished areas in the room. Not a big deal for family flop space - but would be disappointing if you were looking for something a bit more luxe. The biggest concern was how damp the rooms were- even with the fan and air conditioning running. Airing out the room on warmer days seemed not to help either. The beds felt damp to the touch, and when we left, our clothes smelled like they had been damp for the week. One other thing that we noticed is that women had less lucrative positions in dining and serving areas with only one female beach server. Overall, the service was very hospitable, but I had one experience where I went to grab breakfast on my own and asked for an Americano instead of a drip coffee. The server then poured me a cup of coffee. I thought maybe this was a misunderstanding or coffee while I waited (I had been served an americano the day before). When I mentioned it again, he left and came back with a paper cup of drip coffee, and when I said this is not an americano, he told me that it was. It was a strange interaction, and I found it odd that when I was accompanied by other friends/ family, I was treated better. This kind of thing unsettles me because it suggests that women travelling alone might be treated differently at the resort.

Overall a good trip (surprisingly good beach)
We are a group of 19 people. We visited this resort from December 20 to December 26. The check-in experience was subpar, even after confirming ahead of time that we will be arriving late. None of our five rooms were kept ready. On top of it the air conditioning unit broke down and we kinda lost one day having people just come over try to fix it and towards the end of the day they gave up and asked us to move to another room. The front desk manager Norma was borderline rude even getting 30 minutes of late checkout became a big deal for her. Maoli at front desk was gracious and tried to help her best but I think they need a better manager. Now on the flipside, we were served by a wonderful captain named Eladio, who took care of our entire party by cooking whatever food that we liked on every day. All the servers were absolutely wonderful. For vegetarian people this place can be a bit of a struggle, but with over the top service that Eladio and his team provided, this resort really became a lot more fun for us. And we were surprised to have a pristine white sand beach with shallow depth so the whole family can enjoy the waves no Kelp at least when we visited.
