Lovely resort, friendly staff, great service
We have just returned from a 2 week family holiday. What made our stay so lovely was the amazing service from all of the staff in the restaurants, by the pools, cleaners, reception etc. Special shout outs to JJ and Oswaldo who provided great service by the pools. There was never any issue getting sunbeds and umbrellas whatever time you went down to the pools. The food and drink was very good with great choice and never had to wait for tables in the buffet restaurant or booking in the other restaurants. The hotel did not seem particularly busy, which was nice and made for a relaxed experience so may be different at other times of year. We had a nice room on the 6th floor with beautiful sea view and balcony. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

No longer number 1
Pros: - Bracelets were the room keys. - Nadia, the friendly beach waitress. - The room was kept clean. - Room service was prompt. Cons: ROOM - Our first room upgrade had a drawer on the dresser that wouldn’t stay shut. - The balcony was too small for the chairs, causing us to sit crooked. - The TV wouldn’t turn on. - We waited an hour for maintenance on our vacation, but they never arrived. - When we returned to the desk to request a different room or a refund, they took us to a different room on the other side of the resort it seemed better. - We repacked and asked for a wheelie cart, but there was no cart, so we had to drag all our belongings across the hotel by ourselves. - The first two hours were a hassle. - The room was excessively damp, allowing us to not see through the patio doors.(pictured) - The temperature was 19 degrees Celsius which was freezing. When we turned it up to 22 degrees Celsius, and it would drop right back to 19. - The patio furniture in the room was filthy and old.(pictured) - The TV only showed American news channels, and we couldn’t use Hulu or Netflix, which we enjoy watching in the evenings. They told us at the desk that they didn’t want American tv. - The bed broke halfway through our stay.(pictured) - The shower lacked pressure and never got warm throughout our entire stay. If you have thick hair, you’ll have a difficult time rinsing it. BEACH - The beach was our primary destination. The sargassum (seaweed) was extremely unpleasant; it was difficult to enter the water, and the smell was overwhelming at times. (Picture) - This is not the resort’s fault; it’s simply a heads up. - The beach chairs were old, brittle, and broken. (Picture) - The service at the beach was the best. We would have appreciated being able to access a menu, but the server had to inform us about every item they had. FOOD Breakfast buffet was okay, but the humidity was oppressive. The walls were covered in food smears (see picture). The dinner buffet the previous night was cold, and everything was cold. The pasta had cheese on top, and it was hard. He offered to cook me a filet steak, but we were done eating by then. The Mexican, taco, and Italian buffets were good, but they were all first-come, first-served. Good luck! Keep in mind that several items on the menus have an upcharge. The new restaurant under the big palapa was terrible. People waited an hour in line for a reservation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and it was another buffet, but they brought your meat around to the table. The meat was so rare that you couldn’t eat it. It was Argentinian-style. I’m on vacation, and I want a menu and someone to bring me my food. I couldn’t get iced tea, which is not hard to make. I also drank canned Corona light, and they didn’t want to give it to me. They wanted to give me draft. Mind you, we tip every time we get anything. For what you pay, you should be able to have a can of beer. GROUNDS The grounds are not kept up like before. There are dry and dead plants and grass everywhere. The pool was clean in the mornings when I got in, but looking out our balcony on the top of the lunch hut was garbage the whole time we were there (see picture). This resort is no longer number 1 in our book.

Best all-inclusive resort ever!
We had the most amazing stay at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun - truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish! The service here is absolutely exceptional. Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which made our trip unforgettable. A very special thank you to Eladio, who went above and beyond for us. He helped us with a late check-out, made sure we felt welcome every single day, and even gave us wonderful food recommendations (the Motuleños were a must-try and absolutely delicious!). He was also so thoughtful with our little son, even providing avocado so that he could enjoy his meals with us. That kind of attention and kindness meant the world to us. We’d also love to mention Heraclio, who gave us such wonderful service and made us feel so comfortable. And truly, there were so many others whose names we unfortunately can’t remember, but their warmth and hospitality will not be forgotten. This hotel exceeded all our expectations, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you to everyone at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun for making our family trip so special. Regards, Mehdi, Helene & Adam
