Not luxury
This was definitely not luxury. The door was hanging loosely on the cabinet with the fridge. The hair dryer was hanging on the back of a receptacle that was once there. Check in was very frustrating, a 5 hour wait! Food was excellent. Luxury gives you adults only and 7 a la carts choices!

The perfect vacation.
One of most beautiful places I have visited. The staff was absolutely wonderful and made our stay even better. Beautiful beeches, pools and tons of great food. We were able to find everything we were looking for and more. Activities, tours and day trips were easily booked from the hotel. We will be back again and again!

Another Great Trip!
I tend to go to this resort (5th te I have been here) with my husband however this time I opted to go with a few girlfriends. This reort did not disappoint once again. The service from all staff...the food...the drinks..beach..pools etc were all impeccable. The staff are the most friendly I have ever been around...shout out to."crazy legs' he definitely keeps the party going! We had zero issues with our room. (Room 25625) and because we were in a triple occupancy room they had a very comfortable cot made up for us so we each got our own beds! The only suggestion I would give is that they used to do the nightly entertainment on the adult side. It.mimicked the grand side but was done at the chill out hut at night...although there is music.etc at lobby bar on our side it was disappointing that we had to go to the grande side for everything. I pay the eztra to be amongst adults and although I love children I chose to go on an adults side for a reason. They even used to do.movies under the stars on the luxury side. That being said the entertainment was great again just wish there was more on the adults side. I have read complaints from others on the reviews but I just dont understand as again this is my 5th time (and will be going back in November) and we have had nothing but a great time! I reccomend this resort to everyone(luxury side) and infact encouraged 2 other couples to go this year already and they loved it! I have also encouraged a big group to go in November! So.please don't read into the complaints too much..you will see that it's worth the money! Cant wait to return in November!

April Break.
Overall this was a very nice hotel to stay at for 7 days. My brother and I had very pleasant experiences with the hotel staff and the accommodations were what we expected. The food is fantastic here and I've been to a few Bahia Principe's in my life, this was one of the better dining at any I've been at. Yes there are always improvements that can be made but when the turn around for visitors is more or less a week, you can only do so much. The AC in my room wasn't great but I managed and did speak to the front desk. My room was cleaned promptly and at no time did I feel uncomfortable with the accommodations. The beach at the luxury side isn't very nice but for an hour or so it's manageable. The water is very rough on this side of the island so don't expect to go for long walks and swims in the vicinity of this property. The pool area is kept very clean and the security staff do a great job of ensuring that pool patrons are out of the pool when closing times are in effect. My only complaint with the pool on the luxury side is that the swim up bar area isn't very welcoming. There are copius amounts of dumbass drunk people hanging out at the pool bar and it's way too overcrowded at times. It doesn't help when the party staff have activities in that area, it encourages more drinking and people acting like morons. In the 7 days there, I don't think I saw anyone on that side of the pool get out and use the washrooms....you do the math on your own and figure out how sanitary that is. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would return. The grounds were clean, the nightly entertainment was great and the bars were good. Some drinks weren't made the way you may expect but they were still very good. The food is top notch and the staff were very friendly. I would rate this a 5 if some changes can be made to monitor the pool area better and some minor fixes to the rooms.

If you like mediocrity, this oversized hotel is ideal
The hotel is way too big, signage is poor. We stayed on 6th floor but lifts were not working which made it highly inconvenient. The food and drinks are made with poor quality ingredients, many of the staff are unaware of small details like if they bring you a coffee, there is no spoon or the coffee is lukewarm. Staff seem quite naive, they have not been invested in. I wouldnt stay again, I would not recommend
