Perfect Holiday
What a beautiful resort! From the minute you arrive right up til you leave, the most incredible staff are there to make your stay memorable. Flavio, the Bellhop captain, on his day off, got me a particular potato chip I had been wanting, & ensured they were brought to me. Israel, his personality just shines, always smiling, always there for you. Abi, the buffet manager expertly keeps a very large facility running smoothly, always (again) smiling, always everywhere ensuring everything is perfect. Lizeth, the hostess, greets everyone coming through the door, smiling, & guides you to your table. Alberto, undoubtedly the best server I have ever seen, is beyond amazing. He knew exactly what we wanted, took care of us, he even attempted to teach me a little Spanish! (Gracias mi amigo❤️) Over in the lobby, there’s Raphael, & I really want to give him a huge shout out, he was simply incredible. Aurelio, what can I possibly say that undoubtedly hasn’t been said before? He is the embodiment of customer satisfaction, the man sees what needs to be done, & he makes sure it happens. A million thank yous, Aurelio, you are my hero! Now for the resort. Gorgeous well kept grounds, beautiful pools, the staff never stop. It’s something to see. Our room was spacious, I loved the showers, & the housekeeping staff kept it spotless. The beach, well, yes the beach is a bit of a thing with the seaweed, but the crews are down there daily fighting with a relentless sea. As we flew out of Mexico, we saw the seaweed all along the coast. Stop blaming the hotel, they’re doing all they can. My apologies for this very long post, but I wanted to make sure I covered everything.

Great experience
Great hotel. Great customer service. Great room. Israel is an awesome bell hopper. However beach is unusable. Seaweed everywhere. Food is good. Specially at the rodeo gril. The buffet also has a big variety. Pool right outside of room was an awesome choice.

There is a lot to like about this resort, the resort itself is beautiful and the staff are kind and friendly. The pools are gorgeous and the beds and sun loungers are great. The resort is nice and quiet, we stayed in the platinum side and we never had to fight for a bed by the pool. The bars had lots of options and there were a good number of them around the resort. The food definitely left something to be desired. The buffet didn't have a lot of cohesive options and it was hard to get a balanced meal. The hot stations were great, the taco station and pasta station in particular were amazing but they weren't always available. There was a lack of vegetable options. The a la carte restaurants were a mix of great and not great. La Bruschetta and Aroma were great, the Japanese restaurant was not good. The tapanyaki was under seasoned and over cooked and the miso soup was inedible and gross. Rodeo Grill was bad the first time we went there, insanely slow service and most of our food was inedible. We gave it a second chance and it was better the second time. Now the real problem was that halfway through our stay they changed the schedule for the restaurants and two where closed every night. They didn't rotate it, it was just the same two open every other night. This was done without any notice to those of us who were already checked in. The schedule we were given was different than what the reality was. We understand we went during the off season but it was very frustrating. It was also a good thing the pools were great because the beach was unusable. We understand that seaweed happens and the responses to a lot of the comments left here about it are "it's seasonal and we can't control it" but these comments are from different points in the year. There are also neighboring resorts that manage the seasweed MUCH better and I have a friend who stayed at this resort a few months ago and they had a machine to help manage it that broke halfway through his stay. Clearly they have not repaired or replaced it. The sheer amount of it was insane and there was no attempt to manage it. The massive piles rotted in the sun and the smell was so bad you couldn't be near the beach. The entire resort smelled because of it as well. This resort honestly shouldn't advertise a beach. We went in June when it is very hot and the air conditioning just wasn't strong enough. Our room was hot at night and the thermostat wouldn't go below 22. We were told it is impossible for it to go below 22 gor individual spaces and to lower it they'd have to do it for rhe entire resort, but it was set lower in some parts of the resort so we were just not told the truth. Ultimately we had a good time but this is advertised as a five star resort and it just isn't. The resort shows some wear and tear, the conceirge team are not great, the food is definitely not five star and is not worth the cost to stay there. A side note, the spa was lovely, I was lucky enough to be treated by Mario twice and he was amazing.

Princess was a pleasure to stay in
The hotel was amazing! Beautiful decor and a great ambiance. The food overall was great in all of the restaurants including the buffet. A little bit too much walking from the buffet from the main pool area and the room but kept us going. We received an upgrade with a jacuzzi in our room and in our balcony. Amazing entertainment crew with keeping us busy in the pool with games and with shows in the evening. A big shot out to the bellhop (Cristian and Enrique) always a pleasure to talk to. Very warm and friendly and always made great suggestions for places to go to.
