  Amazing staff made a memorable stay!

  We had a beautiful week here in December 2025! A few highlights: Our absolute favorite person that made our week special was Freddy at the breakfast buffet! He treated us like family from the moment we met him and we looked forward to seeing him each morning to start our day. We stayed in Building 23 and the concierge Katya was the sweetest! She was always available to help or answer questions and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Francisco did a beautiful job with the tuna demonstration. It was amazing and so delicious! Oscar at Oceana helped us with some special requests at dinner and Daniel was our waiter there. He was so kind and helpful. At the Seaside restaurant Melenie was the most efficient waitress ever! She was quick and precise. She even explained to us where some of the cuts of steak come from on the cow when we asked her, which I would think to be extra difficult when English is not your first language. She handled everything like a true professional. Outside the buffet at breakfast was taco station. Guillermina was lovely and so hard working every day. Those hand made tortillas were so incredible. The waiters by the pool were wonderfully accommodating and helpful. The room was always meticulously cleaned and turn down service in the evening seemed extra special.

  Beautiful, first-class resort

  We stayed for more than a week and had a partial ocean view room in a building about halfway between the beach and the main building where the restaurants and lobby are. "Partial" meant a little slip of blue in the distance, but we still had a nice view of some of the resort and palm trees. The room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Just to give you an example of the level of service, on the second day when we asked for less lumpy pillows, we were given our choice of three types and they arrived in less than five minutes. A few minutes later, we got a phone call asking if they were okay. The highlights of our stay were 1) the staff. Absolutely stellar service, everywhere. 2) The food! If you are a foodie, you will be in heaven here. Breakfast and lunch is buffet style, and there is unbelievable variety and quality. For dinner you go to one of the restaurants where you are treated like royalty. I think our favourite was the French, but we had a couple of fabulous dinners at the Italian, one of which was candlelit on the circular terrace overlooking the resort. We are seniors with limited mobility and this resort was ideal. We could get everywhere and do lots of activities and most importantly, swim in one of the beautiful pools or the ocean. The only issue we had was the level of music--and the choice of music. There was a "rock" night right across from our room and it was so loud it literally made the windows shake. And around the pool sometimes, you had to try to find a place away from one of the many speakers. The beach was better, but we found that despite the rules that say you cannot "reserve" a chair and go away for more than 30 minutes, people did that all the time. Apparently if you report it to one of the staff, they'll take care of it, but we didn't. Anyway, long review! Would I go back? Yes, but maybe for just a week.

  Don’t change a thing!

  We had a two week stay over Christmas and New Year and honestly, it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. Everything about the property, rooms, grounds, pool and beach are beautiful and so tastefully decorated for Christmas. The food and drinks were outstanding. We’ve travelled extensively and the offering at this resort beats everything we’ve ever had at a resort including in the Maldives. Hands down. From hueves rancheros and warm cinnamon rolls at breakfast to the Tuna Tostada and grilled shrimp and tacos at lunch, top tier pastry and desserts as well as the best chocolate ice cream, then gazpacho, sushi, steaks and so much more at dinner. It was incredible. Poolside service and drinks were excellent and service was constant. The Preferred club beach club and lounge were beautiful spaces to retreat to. There is plenty of things going on to entertain too. Normally, we like quiet, private spaces but we really embraced the fabulous atmosphere created by the resort’s entertainment team. It was there if you wanted but not in your face if you simply want to zone out or watch from afar. There’s music playing all over which created a really nice vibe throughout the day. New Years Eve requires a special mention. The effort this resort went to to put together a beautiful and thoughtful evening was again, the best we’ve ever experienced. The food on NYE was sensational. Foie Gras, king crab and scallops, lobster bisque, an enormous and beautifully cooked tomahawk steak followed by a warm pear, chocolate & filo dessert. All washed down with bottles of Tequila, Cristal, Dom, or Verve depending on package you purchased. Super impressive night. Finally some wonderful staff. Made the place run like clock work. Nothing too much trouble and should take so much credit for good reviews like this. Roger, our concierge was lovely and always on hand to help with anything we needed. We didn’t need much as all our needs were already being catered for. Alphonso, Alberto, Antonio, Luchio, Freddy, the two lovely young female hosts at breakfast, Clary, Jesica and Angel at the Preferred lounge, Felipe, Humberto, Fernando, Pablo, Hugo, David to name but a few that really stood out. Four days in, I’d already booked to “come home” again for Xmas26 and New Year 27. I mean it, don’t change a single thing. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

  One of the best resorts in the Riviera Maya area.

  Great location, the beach was beautiful despite sargassum season. Rooms were clean & amazing with hot tub & the best ocean view. The BEST service of any resort we’ve been to. No issues with noise at all. Isaac was amazing as well, definitely an asset to Hyatt & UVC.

  Christmas at the beach

  What a great Christmas experience. Karen our concierge was awesome along with the service we received with the pool beds. This was our 5th time there and the people are the reason we keep going back.
