Dec 15, 2025A good resort but the private club did not give the advantages it should.
Its a beautiful resort with very kind and helpful staff. I paid extra to go in their Club. I did get a room in a better location and a wonderful concierge but I dont think the Club is good value. It is not really any higher level. The whole resort only offers a few Chilean wines. If you like good wines, you are forced to buy a bottle of wine starting at $80. Most over $100. As for champagne that does not appear anywhere. Unlike Sandals that offer in their luxury level accommodations. To buy at Secrets started at $180 a bottle. Most $250 and more. The Beach club for club members did not offer any better wines. The same bar nenu as far as i coyld see. The club had a private dinner one night for club guests. It was the only night it was open for donner, and then if you wanted to go, you had to pay $150 a person more. The breakfasts in the beach club for members were not good eiher. They could not cook eggs very well, they only offered sliced bread so again, why pay the extra $150 a night to be in the Club? As this resort is 5 star and AAA 5 diamond, i was expecting a higher lever of wine and even some champagne included. Most a la carte restaurants were good,. I had one bad meal the first night but the rest were good. If you want a good standard of 5 star inclusive rssurt and dont care about having wine or champsgne and dont pay extra to go in the private Club, then this is the resort for you. The entertainment was good, not always on the App, so not everyone knew what was on.

This was our second time at this resort and it exceeded even our first experience! The staff is always great but our concierge, Marcelo, went way above and beyond to make our stay special! And Daniel at Portofino’s was spectacular!

A Wonderful Week at Secrets Maroma!
We had a wonderful week at Secrets Maroma. The beach was the highlight of our stay. The accommodations were excellent and all requests were fulfilled. All restaurants were as great as promised. Bramdon, our concierge was an excellent host in Building 26. He made our stay even better by being so helpful and obliging. We really hope to return to this resort and will request building 26.

From the moment we arrive to the moment we left everything was perfect. The staff is the best ever.!
First off, the staff is impeccable very kind the most kind people I’ve ever met! Also shout out to Bramdon the concierge’s of building 26. He is the best ever you guys made our stay magical. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

Fantastic Customer Service and Beach
Delayed review of our recent experience at Secrets Maroma. Customer service and the beach were fantastic as usual. Standouts included Jessica A (F&B Concierge) who went above and beyond to make our special occasion wonderful and legendary. Sara and Freddy at World Cafe always greeted us with a smile and led us to a wonderful coffee drink to enjoy, the Carajillo. David at the Seaside grill made our daily lunches memorable, he worked with the chef to create special surprise lunch experiences. The others we encountered at the resort during our stay were great as well, and it’s great to see the entertainment team engaging with guests to make the experiences more than expected. Thank you to all for a wonderful week and hope to see you all again next year. Feliz Navidad & Feliz año nuevo.
