Albert was a GREAT butler! He checked with me every morning, to make sure everything was as I liked it in the room and ask what might be needed to make my stay even better. When I wanted something specific, like a bottle of wine for my room, he brought it himself. He made dinner reservations for me, even guiding me to my destination when he happened to see me wandering around a bit lost (I have literally NO sense of direction!) I had a wonderful week at Dreams Onyx Punta Cana - Albert was a big part of that. I couldn't recommend him more highly! Thanks Albert!

The BEST staff!
Top notch service from everyone! We were in a preferred room and check in was very quick and easy with a bar and light snacks available in the preferred check in lounge. We had been here before and had an amazing experience with our butler, Nelson. We happened to see him again at check in and were lucky enough to get him again! He’s so attentive, kind, and helpful. He checked in every day, asking if we needed anything. He even remembered that we had requested special pillows from the pillow menu and got them for us again! We loved the restaurants we ate at and have no complaints about the variety or options for food. We ate breakfast in the indoor preferred area and tried different restaurants for dinner (Hibachi at Spice was a favorite, and the ribeye at Bluewater Grill was incredible). We didn’t eat at the buffet except to grab some breakfast items and dessert one evening. We appreciated the hand sanitizer that was provided to every guest before entering the buffet. DO NOT skip the taco truck- chicken tacos were fantastic! The preferred pool bar staff deserve an extra special shout out, as well! Nellis, Ismael, and Peter took such great care of us and treated us like family every day! We wandered around to other pools and bars but always found ourselves back at the preferred pool. We love this resort and can’t wait to come back!

I love this place
This is my first time at the Dreams Onyx hotel and I'm delighted. The hotel staff is very friendly and I appreciate the service from everyone. Karen at the bar is my favorite, and Gema and Domingo are very helpful. Hector, the butler, is very kind. I loved the restaurants and amenities; my favorite restaurant is the steakhouse. I really like my room, as well as the entire property.

Great vacay!!
Our stay was wonderful overall! We absolutely loved our butler Angel — he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The preferred pool staff were amazing and so attentive, making our pool days relaxing and enjoyable. The main pool and splash pool teams were just as fantastic, keeping the energy fun and the service top-notch. The wait staff throughout the resort were excellent — quick to bring drinks whether we were dancing, lounging by the pool, or dining. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and professional, and every meal felt special because of their great service. The only downside was that the bar staff at the theater could be a bit rude at times, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise outstanding hospitality we experienced everywhere else. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return — thanks to the amazing team who made our stay so memorable!
