    Must Meet Denis Teran

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in Cabo is a must visit resort. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Very helpful staff at every turn. A lots of food options. We encountered many servers at the Market Place, all very helpful and kind. Denis Teran stands out with his exceptional service. He made us feel right at home, Denis is one of a kind.

    Great customer service

Victot 29 was very informative and helpful driver, excellent customer service! Pueblo bonito has a lot of great restaurants, their sushi restaurant is awesome and bistro has great views. The room was spacious and very clean, very recommended!

    Don’t waste your money!

One of the worst hotels i’ve stayed at. We stayed here for four nights - didn’t have hot water the entire time. The shower was disgusting and had black mildew all over it. Had two cockroaches in our room as well. The hotel is super run down - i’m guessing we got this room/section of the hotel bc we were guests of an owner and didn’t buy the all inclusive plan or take a tour. The beds were so uncomfortable. Super loud and like disneyland. There are only a couple of places to eat that allow children and the food is mediocre at best.

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Dining – Needs Major Room Updates

getaway and unfortunately, the condition of our room left a lot to be desired. We were placed in a 1-bedroom unit in Building 22, and the room was clearly outdated. On the last night, it rained—and we discovered three separate leaks in our unit. My husband even slipped and fell due to the water. The resort offered a $100 credit for the inconvenience, which felt insufficient given the safety hazard and disruption to our stay. We didn’t push harder since it was our final night, but in hindsight, we probably should have. The specialty dining restaurants were the highlight of the trip. We had excellent meals and service at both the steakhouse and La Frida—truly the saving grace of our stay. However, another frustration was the Sky Pool closing every day at 2pm for wedding events. While we understand weddings bring in revenue, it’s disappointing to lose access to one of the main amenities in the afternoon. If you’re staying here via RCI, be aware that the rooms, especially in Building 22, are in desperate need of renovation and maintenance. This resort has potential, but as it stands, we left feeling like the experience didn’t quite match the price tag or expectations.

Just got back yesterday and here is my 2 cents .

To whomever read this: We are owners and have been going there every year for the past 10 years. Overall I can say its good. BUT, It sure needs huge improvements ! Pest control is an issue: they say they do spry and all ,but for the past 4 years we have seen LIVE Cockroaches, and other bugs in the rooms, bathrooms . That is gross!! CATS around in and out and around the restaurants . Last year there was a family of Racoons, in our hallway . Thank god we have not seen any this year . I have send my reviews to the resort letting them know about these problems and yet they are still around. NEEDS ... Room remodeling ,We had 5 units and 3 of them had ceiling leaks and drywall falling down. New furnitures, Food variety ,meat and food quality , paying plus $800. per person for the all- inclusive . The resort gets very boring after 10. pm. The only place available is the After , Bar . karaoke. Not everyone enjoys listening to some drunk people screaming / singing. There should be more adult entertainment for late night ( music, dancing ....) Guest shouldn't have to go to the town to have late night fun. 3 days of our on week stay the sky pool closes for weddings at 2:00 and when all those people have to go to other pools, good luck finding beds or servers that can handle all the guests . Not enough servers and bartenders ! Poor guys run around the pools and do their bests but there's only so much they can do .
