Beautiful Beach, white sand and clear water.
One on the nicest beaches in the Caribbean. White sand and clear water. 1st stay at couples Negril. Previously stayed at others. Pros Room with the large balcony and hammock was excellent. Having no TV was a nice disconnect. Beach in my opinion is one of the best in the Caribbean. Great for walking in both directions Food was good at the buffet. Good variety. Drinks were very good. Martini bar excellent water sports and sailing were fantastic Glass bottom and catamaran included was a nice surprise. Water sports staff were excellent. House keeping was good. Room was always clean and everything worked The manager at the Asian theme restaurant was fantastic. Sorry forgot his name. Jamacia theme night the food was very good Entertainment , Steel band, reggae band and singers on the different nights were excellent Piano bar was great. A lot of fun at night. Sally at the beach bar was awesome. Always had a big smile. Cons Managers were not that helpful when we had a few issues with replenishing items in the room. Took them 3 days to get what we ordered right. For the price you pay they need to work on somethings to get a higher rating. Theme restaurants were okay. Menu Improvements are needed. Lobster night they ran out as the ones they served were mushy. Ended up with no lobster and a restaurant manager with an attitude. Rooms close to the road are noisy. We did request a quiet room away from the road but it didn’t happen for 3 nights. If you’re a light sleeper forget about it the road noise will wake you up. BBQ restaurant jerk chicken was overcooked. We’re in Jamaica Mon get it right. Visited both resort and like the beach better at Couples Swept Away Tips: Short walk down the beach to the left 15 minutes is flag city restaurant fresh lobster lunch see pictures. Amazing cooked perfectly Visit the sister resort Couples Negril located on Bloody Bay for the afternoon take the free shuttle. Also free shuttle up to the cliffs for dinner, drinks and a beautiful sunset. Rooms closer to the beach are quieter. Overall I will be back but would consider another resort. Room for improvements in my opinion for the price.

Great Resort! We hope to return!
We stayed at Couples Swept Away from April 28 to May 5, 2025. Our overall rating of this resort is excellent! Couples Lounge at Airport: This was a really nice welcoming spot after our flight to Jamaica. We had a drink and snacks and a quick bathroom break, and then we were on our way to the resort in a van. The staff were great - friendly and efficient. Arrival at resort: So nice, and they made us feel welcome. Registration was quick, and we were settled in our room and then off to get a bite to eat in no time at all. Accommodations: We stayed in a Garden Verandah Room. It was nice - had everything we needed. The maid service is excellent. We're on the 3rd floor, which I wanted. It felt nice and private, but the stairs were killer when you were exhausted in the heat! But we are in pretty good shape for early 50s, so it was fine. The building is quite close to the road, and unfortunately, we were woken up several times by cars roaring by. If we go back, we'll go for Ocean Verandah, likely. Beach: The beach is beautiful. Soft sand and turquoise water - no need for water shoes. We had no problem finding a shaded spot to lounge each day, and there was no need to get up early to save a lounger! The only complaint we had (and it is just a minor one) is the 'vendors' walking along all the time, although we found a quick 'no thank you' worked fine. Pools: I honestly can't give a review because we didn't step inside the pools. The beach was just too beautiful! Food: Excellent! We both gained weight after a week there! Lots of selection, and it was all delicious! Food & Beverage Service: The service was consistently great in some parts of the resort and consistently underwhelming in others. It was not a huge deal for us, as we just avoided the two snack areas on the beach (Scotch Bonnet and Seagrapes) after a few days because the staff made us feel like we were bothering them. (We are friendly, easy customers, as are our traveling companions.) Everywhere else, the staff were so genuine and friendly and made our stay absolutely wonderful. The Palms, Patois, Feathers, and Lemongrass were consistently excellent. Very friendly, fun, and efficient. With a few exceptions, the bartenders throughout the resort were mostly good, efficient, and friendly. We loved the martini bar. The staff were so nice, and the martinis were awesome! The piano bar seemed nice too, we only went there once but it had a fun atmosphere. Entertainment and Activities: Excellent! We loved the steel drummers, and the various singers throughout the week were excellent. We had a great time at the silent disco. The catamaran cruise was so fun (although I think we got a dud crew, as they seemed cranky, nothing like the videos we saw online, lol). Most days, after being in the sun all day, we were heading back to our room fairly early, lol. Lots of water sports to do for free and so many activities for all interests! You can do as little or as much as you want. Oh, and if you are a gym person, it has a great gym facility across the street! Staff there are wonderful! We didn't use the spa, but we heard people saying it was great. The Resort: The overall size is perfect. It's not too big, not too small. The grounds are very lush and tropical. I have a terrible sense of direction and didn't have any problems finding my way around. We were so sad to leave! (This was the first time my husband hated to leave a resort. He is usually tired of the food and ready for home before the trip is over lol.) We would definitely go back to this resort.

Another glorious vacation!
Fantastic accommodations, delightful staff, delicious food, best beach in Jamaica! Love this place. This is our 8th time here at Swept Away. It is by far the best Couples Resort on the island, I have stayed at all the other Couples and they can’t compare to this one!

Beautiful beach.. but that's about it.
Recommend if your top priority is the beach, but if you are going for anything other than the beach -- accommodations, food etc, -- book somewhere else. I booked for the beach, so it wasn't a total let down because the beach IS PERFECTION. Other than that, there's a lot left to be desired. Snack bars often ran out of food. In the morning, towels weren't stocked yet, ice wasn't filled at the water stations. Reservations for the restaurants have to be made through an app prior to your trip, which we had no idea about and were shocked when everything was full while attempting to book at concierge. I wouldn't choose to travel here again.
