An anniversary to remember!
There is so much to share about this wonderful place!!! My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary here and we were truly looking for rest, relaxation, and island vibes. This is exactly what we got at the Blue Haven, but there was co much more! The place is stunningly gorgeous (even though it was cloudy most of our trip) and the staff is second to none! From Gelear and Angi at the front desk who were total sweethearts and were always prepared to answer all our wacky questions, to I'Ange who helped us book our sunset cruise and chatted with us for hours (such a beautiful spirit), and Smiley and Coco running the trivia/games and making fun of us...all the staff was great...but one staffer there was absolutely SUPERB. Her name is Gillian and she personally took care of my wife and me like we were family! Even though she had only recently joined the staff (I think she said she had been there only 5 weeks), she seemed to know everything about the place...especially behind the bar! She was like our own personal mixologist! What a treat! We never had to order a drink, she was like, "I have an idea, please try this and tell me what you think!". We were never disappointed! Kudos to the entire staff at the Blue Haven, but a special thank you to Gillian, our beautiful friend from Trinidad! The restaurants at both the Blue Haven and Alexandra were excellent! We ended up at Salt almost every evening because of how much we loved the fresh snapper, the lobster, the "Le Don Giovanni" pizza, and the conch fritters! Didn't love the no-see-ums (sand flies), but they couldn't keep us away! Be sure to bring a repellent and you should be fine...we forgot ours. The privacy of being in Leeward was lovely! We were able to be on the beach and relax without there being an overcrowded feel...in fact, you could hear the gentle lapping of the water on the Blue Haven beach as you're lounging in the sunchairs or hammocks. While we didn't spend lots of time inside, our room was quite clean comfortable and there was always some tasty little confection waiting on us when we returned from the beach for from our excursions. It was a very nice touch! Here is the TLDR about what to do when you visit Turks and Caicos and stay at the Blue Haven: 1. The resort is quite a distance from the airport so be sure to plan transportation in advance! 2. Bring cash! ATMs are sparse on that end of the island, so it's good to have cash on hand for tips and taxis. 3. Wednesday nights, go to Da Conch Shack! It is a blast! You must get a taxi there and back...the cost is roughly $30 one way, so $60 for round trip. 4. Thursday nights, go to the Fish Fry! You will take the shuttle to Alexandra and it is a brief walk to the Fish Fry location. While most vendors accept cards, some still require cash...be prepared. 5. Take excursions! Go on a sunset cruise, visit Noah's Ark, visit Iguana Island, take in all the culture Turks and Caicos has to offer. 6. Bring bug repellent for the evenings! All in all, this was an amazing vacation and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment!

The Perfect Resort for a Memorable Celebration
I brought my family of 20 to Blue Haven Resort for a big birthday celebration, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We booked a few suites and the penthouse, which was absolutely stunning. It became the perfect gathering space and one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed. The highlight was our private rooftop dinner. Huge thanks to Latoya Francis, the events manager, who made everything seamless — from the dinner to an amazing boat and snorkeling excursion. She welcomed us so warmly and made sure our group was cared for throughout. We were also lucky to have Natalee, the on-site photographer, who brought such fun energy to the evening. The staff across the resort were fantastic — from restaurant teams and beach crew to housekeeping. We enjoyed the made-to-order breakfasts, unlimited smoothies, and a fun BBQ night with fire dancers. The private dinner was excellent — the chefs and bartenders went above and beyond for our group. Blue Haven’s smaller size made it feel peaceful and personal — much less crowded than its sister resort, Alexandra. While it’s not directly on Grace Bay, the free shuttle to Alexandra made it easy to enjoy that side of the island. We loved the pool, beach trampoline, kayaking, Hobie cat sailing, and cozy fire pits at night. And yes — the unlimited snacks, soft drinks, and cocktails were a huge plus! This trip was seamless, joyful, and everything we hoped for. Thank you to the amazing team — we’ll absolutely be back!

Perfect relaxing getaway for two!
The staff definitely made the experience for us! Pedro was amazing - hustled to make sure we had whatever we needed - all the time. The facilities are extremely well kept - clean, with an exclusive feel. The size of the facility was great - small with limited rooms so never crowded but enough people to have ‘fun’. We never had trouble getting a chair right by the water!! The Infinity pool overlooking the water was amazing - so we’re the hammocks swinging in the breeze by the water. Super relaxed - don’t want to go home!!
