Awesome adult group getaway – Great Vibes, Great Staff
Group of 16 made up of adults and older teens visited in Dec 2025. The positives: - Resort staff were fantastic, and the rooms in the Harmony section (3rd floor) were very clean and well maintained. - Food at most sit down restaurants was excellent, and top-shelf drinks were available at most bars. - The resort never felt crowded compared with many other all-inclusives and there were always plenty of towels at the pool and for excursions. - Bartenders were great. Special shout-out to Godfrey in the lounge for taking such good care of our group. - Live entertainment was a highlight, especially the music at the foam party, and the themed buffets offered a nice variety of options. Suggestions for improvement: - There were not enough servers at the adult pool, in the main lobby seating areas, or in the second-floor lounge. - Seafood choices were limited and there was not enough authentic creole cuisine at either the buffets or the sit down restaurants. - The adult pools would really benefit from a swim-up bar or additional poolside service. - Ceiling fans in the main lobby would help keep air circulating and make the space more comfortable. All in all a strong 5/5. We will definitely return in the near future!

Lyndon’s adventure tours. The best of the best
Island tours that beat concierge service: LYNDONS AUTHENTIC TOURS (grasshopper tours). Miss the crowds and the busses, small or large groups. Tell them what you are looking for and leave it to them… Let them arrange a single event or a days activities. You won’t be disappointed. If you have a request they will move mountains to make it happen. Try them you won’t be disappointed. Best part of the experience is you will come away either way with new friends. If you are CoconutBay resort check out the beach for Jack Sparrow.

Our 1st Wedding anniversary experience
My husband and I chose Coconut Bay to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on December 21st, 2025. We booked a two-night stay, commencing December 20th and ending December 22nd. My husband drove us to the hotel. He pulled up at the lobby and offloaded the suitcases. A gentle man of medium height welcomed us to the hotel. He greeted me and asked if I was checking in alone. My husband was still by the vehicle. I told the him that my husband would be joining me but had to go park his vehicle in the parking lot. He took our suitcases and placed them in the area provided by the hotel. The staff had hand towels on a tray in his hands, so he placed them down. A short while later, my husband joined me at the lounge. We were never offered hand towels. Another staff member had cocktails but never offered us any. Just before we moved across to the front desk to check in, a full busload of white guests, consisting of adults and children, arrived at the hotel. The two staff quickly served them hand towels and offered them welcome drinks. My husband and I were very disappointed. We complained to the staff, but they still did not offer us anything. The female staff asked if she could take us to the restaurant, but we declined. At the point we wished we could have cancelled the bookings. Our first experience was terrible, I guess our skin colour made it difficult to get equal treatment. The rest of the stay was good. We met with a young lady name Lean and her co-worker. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Lean saw us again later that day and the following day. She ensured that we were OK and kept on apologizing about our first experience. She boasted about her job and the pleasure she takes in performing her duties. We tipped the servers that gave us excellent customer service. The food was great. The hotel is great. Our overall experience was good.
