  Americans beware- you’re not welcome there if you don’t speak Spanish

  This is the worst stay at any of Hyatt properties. Being a Globalist, I know they can do better. It was their all inclusive property with very mediocre food choices . Last evening we decided to try their Italian cuisine . I was given buzzer by the host lady. We waited for 90 minutes and after checking multiple times , we didn’t get a place to sit. I noticed all other guests who came around my time already got seated before me. Then I noticed a group of 4 Spanish speaking girls who came more than hour after us were seated before us. I was unhappy looking at this and confronted gate host and told manager, who sided with her. I told them to review their cameras but they refused. Me and my son left without eating dinner and they didn’t seem to care about it. All they cared that I shouldn’t raise my voice

  Spa services hair braiding

  My teenager had her hair braided at the spa. It was such an easy & great experience. We were greeted in a friendly & welcoming manor by Julio at the counter & Jocelyn did my daughters hair in a quick manor. She was very happy.

  Summer family vacay

  The resort was small but good for families with little ones. The food in the restaurants was surprisingly really good. We tried the Casa de Rosa which was our favorite, Viaggio and At Sunset were excellent as well, along with the buffet and the hot dog/burger, nacho spot. The coffee shop was also good. Not needing reservations for the restaurants made it a bit difficult as there was usually an hour or more of a wait. I had an issue with the room when we first got there, I booked the Master one bedroom suite oceanfront. I had specifically asked for a room with a jacuzzi in the balcony and an OCEANFRONT suite but when I walked into the room the jacuzzi was in the inside of the living room area and the view was of a large patio with tiny view of the ocean and little to no room in the patio. I spoke to the manager and they were able to move us to another room the next day which was much better and just like I had seen it online. I did mention to the manager Sergio that they should not advertise that room as the oceanfront mastersuite as it was not even close to how the other one looked. (I will try to post pictures of the 2 rooms since it wont let me post a video). I would have been highly disappointed and wanting some sort of compensation if they wouldn't of been able to change the rooms for us and given us the one I had seen online and booked.  It was a hassle to pack everything up again and move rooms the next day but it was worth it. The room was alot better and had amazing ocean views. The bed was comfortable and space of the room was good for all 4 of us. The AC in the room had the temperature number light up which did disturb my husbands sleep as it was kind of bright at night. The manager Sergio also made sure we didnt have to wait in the restaurants as a perk due to the inconvinience of the room so it was nice to not have to wait over an hour to eat. The room did come with VIP access which I found out when I checked in. It included a separete check in area with AC and snacks and water along with access to the VIP lounge with AC also that had premium licor, better snacks and some games for the kids and a nice view. The kids loved the children's pool section and the candy shop in the resort was a big hit. It's definitely geared more towards families with kids and would not recommend for adults only. It only has 2 pools and no view of the ocean from the main pool but it was not a huge deal. There is also no swim up bar which again was not a big deal for us. I thought the kids club had a time where the parents and kids could go in the teen area but we were told that was no longer available. We did not use the kid club but the kids did play in the pool by that area and did enjoy it. The castle with the slides in the pool was also a hit for the kids. I received an amazing massage and facial from Esperanza she was great. Would definitely splurge on that. We also took professional pictures with Abraham by the resort and beach. He did a nice job and the pictures looked really good. Some of the things I did not like besides the room when we first got there was the amount of times that the employees in the main lobby would try to talk to us into getting us to listen to a 90 minute talk, I am thinking like a time share thing, and would offer us free tickets to a massage or excurtion. When we first arrived they tried to get us to do that which I tried to listen to what he had to say at first until I realized what it was an immediately said we were not interested. We had just arrivied we are tired, the kids just want to get in the pool and start enjoying our vacation so that was really a turn off. Then everytime we would be in the looby or try to walk across it they would try to talk to us again about the same thing it was nonstop every day we were there. They should really stop doing that it was really annoying and almost hated walking by because we would get bombared right away by them. Pros: food is excellent, great small resort for families with littles ones. Location was good and close to the airport. Bed was comfy, room was spacious. Candy bar and kids pool was a hit with the kids. Hotel was clean, bartenders were nice, micheladas were good. Cons: No reservations for the restaurants making it a long wait, only 2 pools a main pool with no swim up bar or ocean view, and a smaller one by the kid area and the childrens area/pool. Employeees harrasing you every time they see you to talk about a presentation. Did not see any night shows when we were there besides a karaoke night once. Would I stay there again? probably not but we still enjoyed our time. The kids had a blast being in the pool from open to close. It was a lovely vacation overall.

  My visit was very nice. There were a few people that I would love to thank. I must say armando was great.He was in the lobby bar

  Armando was one of the best bar tenders Please, he deserves more than he gets.He is so wonderful and so person he treats everyone with kindness
