Pool Service 2/5. Room Service 3/5. ADA compliant 1/5. -- not applicable to us, but FYI We were there for 6 nights (Wed arrival / Tue depart). The views were fantastic, with sea lions everywhere! Food - Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The breakfast buffet was tiny (about 1/5 the size of other resorts I've visited), basic, and identical every day. Despite the website advertising multiple restaurants, most were closed. During our six-night stay, dinner options ranged from just ONE restaurant to a maximum of three on weekends. NONE of the restaurants had air conditioning, and dinner regularly took two hours or more due to extremely slow service. The only place in this entire resort that has air conditioning is your room and the spa. The gym doesn't even have A/C. I could tell this was a big problem for anyone over 50+ that is looking for a place to cool down. I was on a trip with my mother, and she really struggled the first few days until she got acclimated to the weather. Service – This was lacking in several areas. While two female servers and one male server were exceptional (I wish I’d gotten their names to give them proper credit), the majority of our dining service experiences were terrible. Poolside service was inconsistent—either fantastic or completely absent for 30 minutes at a time, leaving guests searching for someone to take drink orders or going to the bar themselves. The one exception was the server handling the VIP pool area, who was working incredibly hard to keep up. Entertainment -- they truly only ever had one thing going on in the evenings for the entire resort. The burlesque show on Friday was fun, and the karaoke night on Saturday night was a BLAST, otherwise boring. They had one night with a Mexican buffet and a mariachi band, so only 3x nights they had something going on during our 6x night stay. Spa - this was great. No complaints here. Ulysses and Susie gave us wonderful massages. Recommend a spa service while you're there! For $150 US we got 75 minutes each, so pricing wasn't terrible. Ask for discounts. They have a sauna and steam room, but no cold plunge. Cleanliness/Upkeep – Our rooms were spotless and housekeeping was great, but the second building was in HORRIBLE condition. There were holes in the walkways, trash everywhere, and piles of debris visible inside the building. They began filling the holes during our stay, making me wonder if someone had tripped or complained. It also seemed guests were intentionally routed around this area rather than through it. Fire alarms were even being installed on our floor during our stay, as none were there when we arrived. FYI - this is NOT a hotel for anyone with disabilities or if they are in a wheelchair. This was my 8th resort in Mexico, and it's safe to say this was the worst one by far. We were so excited, because of the high google score (WTF by the way?) and the website is false advertising. I would not recommend this resort, but I would highly recommend going to Cabo, but staying somewhere else.

  Fabulous Week!

  We had a fantastic week at Breathless Cabo San Lucas. At first, I was a little disappointed by the small front beach area, but it quickly became my favorite spot. Niko deserves a big thank you for always watching out for us on the beach and making sure our palapa was ready each morning. The beach is beautiful, easy to swim and walk on. I felt safe being there alone, whether I was walking or swimming, because Niko was always nearby. Niko, along with Rodrego and Marciano from the beach team, really took care of us. We were happy with the service from everyone. Franco, Ivan, and Omar were great, attentive servers. The hotel is quite unique because the rooms are in one building that looks out over the marina, while the beach and pool are in another building that faces the Medano beach and the beautiful Cabo Bay. We loved sitting on our deck after a beautiful beach day to watch the non-stop activities in the marina. In the morning, the fishing boats head out, and yeah the seals are up early too, the afternoon the tour boats leave, and in the evening the booze cruises light up with music. It was so much fun to watch. The food was good, and the Xhale Club package was a nice bonus. We enjoyed lobster on a few nights. The location is excellent!

  Paola made our trip.

  Great location, outdated resort — Paola made our anniversary The resort is in a prime spot for nightlife and fishing, but it really needs updating. The food was mediocre at best, and the drinks were below average. The one standout was Paola on the concierge team. She went above and beyond to take care of us for our anniversary, and she's the only reason I'm giving an average rating instead of a lower one.

  Another Wonderful Experience

  We have been to this resort on many occasions, and this time the resort has gone downhill but some of the staff has not. Shout out to Jessi & Stephanie (entertainment team), William (pool bar) and Luis & Carlos (wink bar).....and Suni (breakfast) for her beautiful smile and hospitality. And Allehandro (dinner). The new bar manager needs to start stocking so that there isn't a shortage of basic items. That is only complaint.
