We had the most magical wedding at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica. Adrian and the onsite wedding team are amazing!!! Allison, Yennifer, Johannia the general manager and staff went above and beyond to create a true fairytale wedding. We were skeptic at first with the virtual coordinators communication but the onsite team took care of us and our guests. Special shoutout to Gonzalo our butler. He provided excellent customer service, was thoughtful and included a few surprises to make our weekend special. I would recommend them hands down!!

Great experience!
Staff is amazing! Dyango, Felipe and Tiffany big thanks to them! The food is super good! The room was clean and the overall environment is gorgeous! Surrounded by nature… you can disconnect from everything and just enjoy! Some really good entertainment too!

Family Holiday
As always I will write the most honest review I can. We were a family of three traveling with another couple from the UK with Tui as the tour operator. The hotel and staff are amazing and helpful we had start class so had a designated assistant called Yeilyn who was amazing and ensured we got what we needed in the way of restaurant bookings as speaking with other people it was difficult to get into the restaurants without going early or late. The room and service was spotless and the beach and pool area are clean and amazing with the monkey's who visit each day. The food in the restaurants was of a high standard and the buffet was the best I have ever experienced. Please note I am not a lover of all inclusive, however was impressed with the PH. Now for the bits that I did not like. 1. The noise around the pool was horrific, we had 3 foam parties in two weeks!! with booming music. 2, The marina that is a 15min walk but almost impossible in 34 degrees and vertical up and down has a great restaurant called the dive bar, however the hotel wanted 50 dollars each way for a 3 min ride.!! taking the Piss. Tip as the tour guides on the beach they took us and picked us up for a fraction. 3. We wee always up early when not on a tour, and still could not get a sunbed we wanted people had gone down and put a book and a hat on them to reserve, there is a sign by the pool that clearly says they cant be. when we asked the pool staff to move them they refused so we had to remove ourselves and then had to have it out with the people who had reserved them when they turned up at 11,30. I hope this helps

My family and I (4 adults)just got back from our one week vacation at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica, and we had a great time! This was my second time staying at this all-inclusive resort, but it was the first time for my dad and my husband. We did StarClass, giving us certain upgrades such as assistance with dinner reservations (highly recommend) and access to the StarClass pool. Our rooms were at Building 10, which allowed us to walk next door to the main building where most of the amenities were. The buffet was a great option since you didn’t need reservations and you could eat something different each time. We had dinner at every restaurant, and the one that stood out was sushi. The nigiri tasted fresh, and we mostly ordered appetizers for the evening. If you do not have any excursions planned, then you will most likely be at one of the three pools during the day - main , kids, StarClass. To avoid looking for available chairs, I would recommend reserving a cabana giving you your own private area with a personal pool and small living room with a tv and mini fridge. As for the evening activities, the onsite entertainment crew hosted themed parties and also performed nightly at 8:30pm. They were all great dancers and even held a fire show, which was amazing! We typically ended the night at the sports bar, which is open until 1am but does karaoke until 10pm. Our Easter vacation would not have been memorable if not for some of the staff we encountered who made sure our stay would be comfortable. They each deserve a BIG shout out: Justin - as our StarClass concierge, he went above and beyond checking in daily, making sure we had everything we needed. Jorge - he was outgoing and personable and made the best spicy mango margaritas at the StarClass pool. Jose - for each restaurant we ate at, Jose would always come to our table to check in on our dining experience. Alfonzo - he is one of the bartenders at the sports bar who made an amazing first impression by going out of this way to retrieve a specific bottle of liqueur to make a us Mexican candy shot.

So cal buffet team
The coffee is phenomenal! Gracias Maria Jose! She made our buffet experience wonderful. She makes the best coffee! I loved the lattes and my husband loved the cafe choriado. Everyday the food is different and such high quality choices. My favorite restaurant at the hotel!
