Nov 21, 2025Value and parties that are hard to beat
The food is eidible, the drinks are stiff if you tip. 4 parties a week if you want do them all. Two afternoon parties (that you get bussed to the party zone.) Two night parties that they did at the main stage.

Birthday celebration for my fiance, beautiful resort with so many fun things to do. Staffs were very friendly.

Wonderful entertainment
Had a great 3 days there Sunday- Wednesday. Entertainment, restaurant staff and front desk service was great. Some of the rooms have a very foul Oder that continues to return after they spray this solution. Not sure if it’s just the bottom level units or not, but it had to keep being sprayed everyday 2-3 times a day it be bearable. It’s a drywall wet painted over smell. I would absolutely stay there again if I could get a guaranteed room without odor

Nov 20, 2025Very disappointing for a RIU that claims to be a 5 star resort
Where do I start? We arrived and got a room crawling with ants. The phone cord was literally ripped out of the wall. The a/c wasn’t functioning. There was black mold growing in the bathroom shower. We requested a room change the following day and stood in line next to a sign labeled “room changes”. Now, maybe management would clue in that there was a problem when they had to create a sign with that written on it? Our travel rep stated during the orientation that we shouldn’t be surprised if we stumbled across guests having sex in the washrooms. Found a deep fried fly in one of my meals. Garbage including broken glass was left for days in floors everywhere. The pools are opened 24 hours (I’d be shocked if someone hasn’t been seriously injured or worse) Excessive alcohol consumption, it seemed no one was ever cut off. We’ve been booking at RIU resorts for over 20 years and are gold members and have never experienced anything close to this.

We had a great time at this hotel, staff was extra friendly, Dj keep the music and vibe going, very clean the jerk chicken at the beach was awesome beaches was clean
