  Sergio de la Garza! - front desk!!!

  We have been visiting Temptation several times a year for a few years. The hotel itself is clean, well kept…should you need anything at all…the staff is overly accommodating. From our valet guys greeting us…to the champagne upon checking in. I don’t take the time to post reviews but I want to tell you about the amazing front desk team…Sergio de la Garza!!! We arrived early and left several hours late without any problems. In fact most hotels would have made us wait until proper check in and charged us for the later stay. But they went above and beyond helping us. I highly recommend Temptation on every level.

  The service and make tGuests he hotel amazing!

  I have been to temptation a few times but this was an amazing trip! I can see the work temptation is doing to constantly make the resort better. One thing I want to note is the playmakers! Pretty Boy, Paola, Chocolate, Cowboy, and Andy made my stay special and they made me feel at home. Every time they saw me they would say hello and have a conversation with me, checking to make sure I was having a great time. The cooks at the parties at night always have the best food, yes better than the restaurants. I often skipped meals and waited to eat at the party at night. I recommend getting to know the staff as it will make your time that much better! The guests that are there will also end up being your best friends for life! I will be going back!

  Advice for the first time guest....

  My review about this resort is very mixed, and I feel like there are things we learned that may help other travelers. The Positives: Very fun vibe Room was clean Room service was prompt Theme nights were a lot of fun Very nice clientele, all of the other guests were friendly and social What we wish we had known/done differently: Do NOT pay for the private transportation from the airport. After we landed we waited for one hour for the driver to collect us. Please keep in mind that you are waiting outside in the heat and humidity, with nowhere to sit. When we asked the driver representative at curbside why it was taking so long he admitted that they do not track flight status, but wait for you to approach them before dispatching a driver and that they simply do not have enough staff or vehicles. Complete waist of time and money. The 'Playful Package' is basically a scam, and here is why: The VIP checkin took another 45 minutes, and would have taken longer had we not cut it short. The 'normal' checkin area never seemed to have any guests, but the VIP checkin was slammed. You are also taken to a 'special' checkin area that is congested and feels like people's work space. It did not feel VIP or exclusive in any way. During checkin they tried to get us to agree to what felt like a time share presentation pitch about buying a membership. No thank you, I am on vacation, not a sales meeting. Things our package included that we never received: sparking wine in the room, our bottle of tequila at Bash, and the wine pairing dinner (we had the dinner but there is no wine, so not sure why it's advertised as a wine pairing dinner....) When we inquired about these things our Buttler always appeared confused, saying he did not know why we didn't have these items, or did not respond at all. VIP checkout was just as challenging as check in. We budgeted about 20 minutes of time for checkout, just because nothing here had been straightforward thus far. We attempted to use the 'normal' checkout desk as there were no other guests. After being helped by two associates they finally escorted us to the still very congested VIP area. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes we kind of had a 'screw this' attitude and decided to leave. We had approved a $600 USD incidental hold on our card upon arrival and had only bought some sunscreen and a miniskirt at the boutique, so our cc hold would easily cover it. After we got in our private car, members of staff actually blocked our progress and accused us of trying to skip the bill. Obviously false, as we had just spent approximately 25 minutes attempting to checkout, and no one would assist us. When we finally found ourselves in front of an associate for checkout he wanted cash instead of our credit card to settle up the incidentals. This seemed odd, and we declined. This entire checkout drama took approximately 45 minutes, so budget your time appropriately. I also want to add here that I travel for work and am on the road approximately 12 to 15 nights per month, so I am well aware of how checkin and checkout services should flow, and this was not it. So, basically my advice is this, skip the Playful Package as you will probably actually have a superior experience without it and you won't receive the things you paid for anyway. Skip the private transportation as it is very time consuming and more of a hassle than anything. Absolutely DO go to the theme parties. They are fun and the people watching is spectacular. Book your dining experiences when you book your room, or you may struggle to eat what you actually want. The boutique has some fun items, so if you are unprepared for theme night, or just want something new, you should be able to sort yourself on site. Would we go back? Probably, but we would be savvier and not waste our money on 'upgrades' that don't enhance your experience at all.

  Take the jump!

  We went for our very first trip and we were not sure what to expect. We did enjoy ourselves and will probably go back but would not be the group that goes 15 times. We are not in the "lifestyle" but enjoyed how open, friendly and respectful everyone was during our 8 day stay. The food was good, above average for a resort. We tried Flame and it was very good, Romanza (Italian) very good, Sea Flirt was good, but nothing special, but Sutra... Sutra we went 3 times. A must try we did both the Hibachi and the regular menu - ask for Jones and trust him he convinced me to try new things and made amazing drinks. The fresh sushi at the end of the pool was amazing! And Alfredo at the little B bar was always friendly and helpful. The drinks were always amazing and well poured (sometimes a little too well poured lol). The buffet was OK, one night we tried it for dinner but they only had Mexican on it and it was not my cup of tea. The breakfast buffet was very good. I had read that the rooms had Nespresso makers so to be proactive I brought decaf pods, however our room did not have this (trendy garden) and we could not get decaf. Occassionally they had it in the cafe but more often than not I had to walk across to Starbucks. My 2 biggest complaints were the music - Thursday through Monday was nothing but techno.. please please please mix it up! Tuesday through Thursday they did this, some great music on these days and I would be back much more often if this were the case! The other complaint was the hard push for the premier membership. Upon arriving we were caught up in the pitch and had to pay $40 and agree to a later meeting just to get away. We hadn't even seen the place yet. My husband and I both felt a better "sell" would have been to give the premier benefits the first day or two so people could see the differences. All that being said, we have recommended it to tons of people who thought we were crazy for going to a "swinger resort" the party vibe was fun and there was no pressure from the lifestyle people by day 3 I was not intimidated and enjoying the resort.

  Best Party Resort in Cancun

  We had an amazing time at this resort. The staffs and services was great. Room services and food was amazing. BEST party vibes. Our butler's Miguel and Shadia gives the best services they were awesome. I will keep going back to this resort. We keep meeting amazing ppl every time we go. This place is 🔥🔥🔥
