Should be 1/2 price during renovations
So many issues! They don't tell you that much of the resort pool and restaurant areas are closed for renovations. There has been construction noise until well after dark every night. You can't even access the beach from the resort. They say since there is only one pool open you can go to the pools at Villa Del Arco (2 resorts away). We got up early, walked over and found that about 80% of the chairs already had towels over them from other guests by 7:00am. Since we had to go all the way over there we packed some food and drinks in a small soft cooler and were told it is not allowed. They just want you to buy all inclusive packages. We considered it but my mother traveled with us and can't drink alcohol and the resort requires everyone in the room to buy the package. We went for an ice cream cone next to the deli and for two cones it was $22! Also, when you come over to Arco you can’t get on their WiFi as a Palmar guest. The cell signal is awful. So many frustrations. This used to be such a great place but their greed and loss of focus on the customer has ruined it. I would never choose another Villa Group Resort

Thumbs Down on Villa del Palmar Cabo!
This was one of the worst “resorts” we have ever stayed. First: it calls itself a “beach resort and spa” and shows wide pictures of beach on website. There is NO beach at this resort. None. “They” say you can go to their other properties for the beach but it was all roped off with no access AND there are NO chairs/umbrellas at all. Second: we booked July 2025. Arrived October, in our one bedroom apartment that we paid full price - directly over looking a multi-acre site for a new pool. No less than 100 laborers working from very early morning (7:00 a.m.) until the wee hours at night (3:00 a.m.) Sand blasting, grinding, hammering - - hard manual labor - - but all during our 5 day trip with no accommodation. Third: three of the four nights of entertainment at the dinner buffet consisted of a movie of a live Broadway play which you could watch on any pay-per-view station (Lion King?! Michael Jackson?!) We enjoyed one live performance of authentic Mexican dance that was show-worthy. Unfortunately, it was interrupted by restaurant manager telling me credit wasn’t covered(?). It was with a card on file. All so disappointing. We will never return. We will actively discourage others

Lots to be desired
Im sure it’ll look great after construction is completed but I was told multiple times leading up to my stay that I wouldn’t need to move to a sister resort as it would be completed. Paid full price for half a resort and they do nothing to accommodate you. Tons of bugs in the pool with staff not listening to concerns. Trying to make the best out of a bad situation. Would not look to stay here again.

Wonderful time for our family of 9
Our family of 9 had a wonderful trip! Chloe, Michelle, Valeria, and Jeremy were all very entertaining from the daily pool activities to the nightly shows!
