Beautiful room, in the pool service Brian is amazing, we missed the donkey race with money now is boring, the activities staff is friendly specially Diana, Ian and Lesly from kids club, we come back every year.

A Great Family Experience!
We had a wonderful time at Villa Del Palmar. We went for 3 weeks but our family, of 6 adults and 4 kids ( 5, 7, 8, 10) joined us for a week. They loved the pools, especially the water slide and easy beach access. The lack of beach chairs is an issue but we are early risers so this wasn’t a problem for us. A highlight was the breakfast buffet that was included in our stay. The food was excellent and a great variety of options. Our waiters, Celestino, Etelvina and Eriberto were so friendly and attentive. They brought my husband bacon the second he sat down. We ate dinner off resort property. The location of the Villa Del Palmar is excellent, close to the airport and downtown. The rooms could use an update but were very clean. I loved the daily water aerobic class. The gym was very clean and well equipped. We used the Kids club for a few fun activities (piñata and cookie decorating). We loved our vacation and we will return! ☺️

Really nice place to stay
We had a great stay at Villa del Palmar. We had to come for medical treatment and this was a good, relaxing location. There is nightly entertainment, which can sometimes be a bit loud depending on where your room is, but it ends at such a reasonable hour I don’t mind at all. This resort seems more cozy than a lot of the others that are more wide open. Trees around the pool, even tropical birds to enjoy in the morning. Luz Valente was our nighttime housekeeper and she was the sweetest. I speak approximately 7 Spanish words and she always took her time to figure out what we needed or how she could help. Also bonus *she delivered little treats every night!

Ricardo is the man.
Ricardo the pool waiter is the man!!! He was speedy and very attentive for our party of 7 girls. The resort itself is older. Rooms are standard. Comfy beds. There are alot of time share older folks who have been going to this resort for DECADES. If you are looking for a chill vibe - stay here. If you are looking for a loud party vibe don't stay here. It was good for my girlfriend's and I we were able to rest and chill and turn it up a little with our great pool waiter Ricardo!!!

Evening at the Japanese resturant
We chose the Japanese Resturant for our final dinner at the resort. The food was wonderful it was our second visit there in our two week stay. Our capiton was Juan Mesero Carlos, he went above and beyond his job to make sure everything was perfect for our evening. Our hostess was Jashia , she even wrote a special message on our dessert plate. Absolutely a great place to eat.
- AdvisoryBeginning May 6th the hotel is removing the Villa del Mar section of the hotel to construct new buildings. The construction site will be closed off to minimize noise. Some locations and services of outlets may change from time to time. Scheduled completion is 2027.
