The all-inclusive program includes the following amenities:
• All meals, snacks and beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails. Additionally, private in-room minibars are restocked daily with beers, soft drinks and water.
• Daily activities include beach volleyball, table tennis, water polo, aquarobics, Beach Olympics, bike tours and darts. Each day, guests enjoy one hour’s free use of bikes, tennis courts (day and night) and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing equipment. Each guest may also take a one-hour SCUBA lesson in the main pool.
• During the day take part on our learning focused activities for adults and children, get in step with a Merengue lesson, sit in on a cooking or cocktail class, or brush up your language skills with a Spanish lesson. In the evening, there are live shows and musical performances.
• Chaise lounge and towel service are provided at the pool and beach

Sep 14, 2025Good clean and well kept resort with outstanding service
Our vacation here was fun and relaxing. We had such a great time. Service is excellent all over the resort. Rooms are clean. Food is good with a great variety. Xiomeris was a big help and we very much appreciated her. Great customer service from Victor at the front desk. This was our 3rd visit at this resort and every time has always delivered 5 Star service.

Better than we expected!
-resort and rooms very clean -food was fresh and tasty -staff were friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. -beautiful beach; no rocks, no seaweed -only 20 mins from airport

A Budget vacation with family and Gran Ventana, did not disappoint us!!
Decided to give the family a vacation in week for Christmas this year. in the Dominican , instead of presents .. First time staying at the Grand Ventana , and I Was not disappointed... everything was as advertised, this is not a 5 Star resort ( I've, been there done that) ,,,but they don't pretend to be one but a 4 star is about right,,..., 6 adults, for the week .on a budget,,,,.We did not do the premium package, just the Standard room and regular package, it was fine without the added $ ,, for the premium experience, WE stayed on resort all the time .. no out trips this tour. 1. The place is very clean, front to back both pools spotless, grounds manicured ( did not see one mosquito the whole week there ) 2. the food is good,,,, which was one reason I selected this resort, the buffet is very good, and the ala Cartes were fine as well (did all 3 . no major dress code, and service was great} 3 The Pools

We stayed at the gran ventana from the 21st of July until the 10th of August this was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidy, rooms are dated but clean and very usable with good wi-fi in them. Food is vey good and the beach bar food is nice. All the bar staff are excellent and very friendly and funny. The beach is very nice, and clean. The main pool is very nice, just needs to be cleaned a bit more the swim up bar is excellent. My only down fall is the entertainment which is horrendous quite often doing activities and leaving the smaller children out. Also not very much English spoken by them. All in all we had a very good stay here and we would return.

Aug 11, 2025Go elsewhere, this place isn't worth it.
This was my second time in the DR, and I was hoping for a great vacation. We went from August 1st to August 8th. Here's a list of complaints: 1. Water service was turned off from 9am to around 5pm 2. Room needed to be fumigated for pests, namely roaches 3. Wifi was off for two days, they came to reset router on day 2 at 11:30pm after many calls and visits to reception 4. Beach towels were stolen, and staff was not helpful at all in trying to find solution 5. Nightly entertainment was lacking. 6. Some staff was quite rude or dismissive. Felt like they wanted a tip before they would be willing to assist. 7. Bathroom fixtures were rusty. The water did not drain properly in the bathtub 8. Front door was warped and did not close properly/fully. 9. Beach area was crowded with vendors trying to sell everything from braids to trinkets. You cannot relax on the beach without having someone offering you something. 10. Food selection was not the greatest.
