Jan 05, 2026Another relaxing stay at Ventus
This was second visit to Ventus. We said we wouldn’t go to Mexico two years in a row (because we wanted to travel to new places) but we enjoyed our first experience so much so we ended up returning a year later. The staff at the kids’ club were lovely but this year our kids didn’t want to go as much because they wanted to spend all day at the pool. As others have said, the beach wasn’t the greatest but the pools were lovely and the staff were excellent. The beach, though small, was relatively clean from seaweed. We did have some trouble booking à la carte for prime time so we had some 5pm and some 8pm reservations. The later reservations were not too big of an issue as we tried to stay on PST but it did get in the way of attending some of the evening shows. For that reason we were not able to catch as many shows as we did the year before. I must say I find the resort to be very well maintained. I didn’t notice any bugs in our room, maybe just 2-3 flies that got in during housekeeping out of the 7 nights we were there. I have been to higher end resorts in different parts of the Philippines and more than half the time there would be some bug issues. A gecko did get into our room one day and freaked me out. I messaged our butler who then got the maintenance crew to come by within 10min to safely remove and release the little fella back out into the wild. Location wise I found it to be great. Only 30min from the airport in a quiet part of town. We are looking to booking our 3rd trip to Ventus.

First and foremost I want to give a tremendous thank you and shout out to our suite butler, Indira. Everyday she made sure our needs were met beyond our expectations. She was so responsive and made us feel like we were her only clients even though I am sure she had others to tend to. If your room comes with butler service, I hope you get sweet Indira who has the best customer service skills and is so happy to be working at Ventus Ha. Indira gets 5+ stars in my book. The only reason why I am not giving the resort 5 stars is because it was extremely hard to get dinner reservations. When we couldn’t get into a restaurant, we were forced to eat at their super small dinner buffet. I was shocked at how small it is in regards to the size of the property which includes 3 major resorts.

Great vacation at Ventus @ marina el cid
This is our third trip to the resort, and we always love it. Lots of pools to choose from, the beach is cleaner than it has been in years, good restaurants, nice accommodations. Highlight of our trip this year was our butler, Gonzalo. He went out of his way to meet every need we had and more. We could not have asked for a better experience! We’d give him more than five stars if we could.

Relaxing vacation
This is our fourth visit. We love it!! Cali and Samuel were our butlers and they were exceptional The pool is beautiful! The restaurants are wonderful. Very conveniently laid out resort.

Great food and especially great staff! Thank you Miguel!
In addition to the food being excellent, it was the Restaurant Manager, Miguel Cab, that made our dinning experience most exceptional! Because of a reservation problem we thought our evening would be ruined but Miguel solved any issues and accommodated our party of four and treated us as if we were special guests! We enjoyed Miguel’s company’s so much that we returned the next two nights!
