    Returning happy guests

we've visited many times and have always been happy with our stay. We enjoy the food, atmosphere and hospitality. The staff are very welcoming and treat you like family. Having stayed previously at other resorts on the island, this is the one we regularly return to. Its in a great location and the sunsets are breath taking. Caroline, the manager always greets us with a warm welcome back, as do the rest of her team. We'll be back again soon.

An average resort that could be spectacular

I spent seven nights here in early November 2025. I travel a lot (luxury and budget), and this was my first time in Barbados. Things I loved! The service: I found everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the bartenders to be pleasant and helpful. The service in the main dining area was lacking at times, but it was tolerable. Our room was clean and housekeeping was accommodating. There were a few things missing from our room when we checked in, and they corrected the matter right away. The resort takes pride in the grounds. The landscaping isn't fancy, but it is neat and cared for. The pools were sparkling. The drinks were wonderful. The activities and water sports crew were amazing. This resort could be four or five stars if they did something about the following: The food was almost awful, and I am not a picky eater or a snob about food. I was surprised there weren't more Caribbean options on the menu, and equally surprised that what was on the menu wasn't well-prepared. There were a few things that I enjoyed, but more often than not, I was disappointed. A couple of times, I didn't even finish my meal. I would have liked more privacy. We had a first-floor, ocean-front room, which had a beautiful view. However, the loungers directly in front of our room were first-come, first-served. So, we often woke up to find the loungers claimed, and since there were always people in front of our windows, we couldn't keep the curtains open to enjoy the view. Beach towels are like gold, and I'm not sure why they aren't more accessible or plentiful. The entertainment was mediocre. There were nights that I would have preferred a good DJ/Dance Party over the live entertainment. There isn't really a beach at the resort. You have access to the water, but not really a beach. We spent one day at The Boatyard and had a lovely time. For a per-person fee, we got a clean beach, beach chairs and umbrella, and $ toward drinks/food. The drinks and food were good. It was also one of the best meals of the trip. Go to Oistins. It was touristy, but it was fun, and we had some of the best food of our trip there.

    Great place

Im just back from 11 nights staying at The Club Barbados. From arrival - leaving the staff were so friendly and very helpful. Rooms were good, one night we had a leak due to heavy rain, next day we reported it and it was fixed. Food was good Something for everyone whether you want to lie by beach, pool or garden and lots of activities to do. There was entertainment on every night aswell. We can't wait to go back

A magical amd romantic wedding /elopement venue.

We went there for 10 days for our elopement Wedding and part of our honeymoon. It was an absolute dream, with the inclusive wedding package delivering far more than we had expected from the example photos prior to booking. Sophia Butcher was an amazing wedding planner, so kind and helpful, ensuring we were calm and the day went without a hitch. The bouquet (included in package) was stunning and made to compliment my destination dress (I wasn't feeling the white/cream wedding dress due to the heat and being 60 shortly (it's a choice :-)) The resort is compact and friendly. There was a WiFi issue butvwe were able to access in parts if the complex but not unmanageable. Who goes to Barbados to sit on WiFi anyway? Loved the food, excellent range and especially the vegetables were beautiful cooked, not mushy. So much food available throughout the day. Free flowing cocktails too, Monkey Business and Mudslide being firm favourites. The masks and snorkels are in good condition and easily available. Water sports offered daily. Thanks and warmest wishes from us newly weds! A dream come true. Danielle, Sophia and Guye on the cocktails, Germiane (on everything...... 👌) Carmel and Samantha on the breakfasts, especially Sophia Butcher for a dream wedding. Thank you 😍

    Breakfast frustrations

A clean resort with nice rooms. However , a somewhat stressful breakfast dining experience which requires dealing with and facing a plethora of hurdles to overcome in order to enjoy a simple warm piece of toast. An ill performing machine, not helped by fiddling guests taking ownership and vastly inadequate butter portions.
