Excellent staff
We’ve been staying at Tesoro 3 or 4 times a year since 2016. The long term staff are great but ENRIQUE at the bell desk is an exceptional representative. We come so often he remembers us and ALWAYS is attentive and takes care of our needs when we stay. Thank you, ENRIQUE!!!

The best hotel in Cabo
We love it here. Clean rooms, close to everything you need and the best staff. Visit the pool and the bartenders and waiters are the best! Fidel, Alfredo and Jaime. Also Jorge with guest services will always find you the best deal on excursions.

Denied access and humiliated after being pressured to attend a “membership breakfast” — extremely unprofessional experie
My wife and I had one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were repeatedly pressured by the concierge to attend a “breakfast meeting” where they would present a membership offer. We clearly said we were not interested, but the pressure continued. Eventually, after several attempts, the concierge convinced my wife to attend the membership presentation by offering a deal: for breakfast and F&B if we attend the meeting. Since the weather forecast predicted hurricanes for the next two days, we decided to accept — it seemed convenient to stay and dine in the hotel rather than go out in bad weather. When we arrived at the agreed time, one of the staff members DALIA ALVAREZ started asking us a series of personal questions in a very interrogative, almost investigative manner. When she found out that we both have professional hotel backgrounds and that we are hotel managers (even though we haven’t worked in the industry for over a year and on a completely different continent), she immediately left to speak with the concierge. Moments later, she informed concierge on really rude way and infront us tall him that we were not allowed to attend the presentation. "NO THEY CAN NOT" We were shocked and felt completely discriminated against. It was humiliating to be denied access simply because of our professional background — as if being hoteliers made us unworthy of their offer. The way we were treated was disrespectful and unprofessional, especially after being pressured so much to attend in the first place. Interestingly, when we later visited another nearby hotel (their direct competitor), they welcomed us warmly. They even appreciated that we are hotel managers and happily offered us all the same benefits. Their attitude was the complete opposite — respectful, open, and genuinely hospitable, even sending us Taxi from Tesoro to there hotel, can you imagine other hotel treat you better then hotel where you staying. This experience showed us how poorly this hotel treats guests and how far they are from true hospitality standards. We will definitely not return and cannot recommend this property to anyone who expects professionalism, respect.

Hurricane/Lack of food
Our experience wasn’t great. We totally understand there is a hurricane. Got it. But when you pay for all inclusive, you should at least offer a discount on Room Service or something seeing that every single restaurant was shut down, every single bar except for the lobby in the hotel -who wants to sit in the lobby and drink? We have no choice. Everything is closed. Either refund the money for the all-inclusive or offer a discount in Room Service. The lack of food has been ridiculous. Everything opened back up today and we were able to go out of our hotel to get food which has cost us way more than intended seeing that we thought we were staying at an inclusive resort. Room Service would’ve been fine. Regular food would have been fine. No one has checked on us. No one has explained anything, nothing no one has offered to refill the refrigerator, clean the room. Nothing. And yea, I called and spoke to a front desk person- nicely. There’s plenty of employees here, everyone’s been very nice, we’ve seen them all. We travel to Mexico every year. So not a first timer to Mexico. This is our first time in Cabo, but I do not want beef stew for breakfast and that was what was offered this morning and some eggs with hotdog cut up in it. Truly disappointed. The room is okay, it’s a penthouse overlooking the marina and the city. I think on a sunny day. It would’ve been completely awesome. I will give it another try just maybe not at this resort. I’m in customer service so I know how to make things right, no one here did that.
