A truly outstanding family stay
We truly loved our stay! We’re regular travellers to Antigua, but this is the first time we’ve stayed on a resort. However, we have stayed all inclusive in other Caribbean locations and around the world and we have to say, we think this is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in! This property and grounds are beautiful, as are the rooms, the food and the staff! We loved the character and charm of this hotel so much and really felt everything was so well thought through for the convenience of guests. From the plentiful towels dotted around the resort, to the mobile beach bar (which we didn’t use, but thought was a great touch!), to the tortoise sanctuary which our boys checked daily, and the awesome coffee shop on site (our kiddos LOVED the banana bread and a ham sandwich in the afternoon on the beach!). There are so many small, but valuable touches at this hotel that really set it apart. The A La Carte restaurants were fantastic - especially Cocos and Rainbow! But we also really enjoyed all of the other options, too. We were travelling with 2 young children (2&4) and the staff were so fantastic with them. A special shoutout to: Orlando the porter - our boys loved seeking him out each day! Sharon the chef - who so kindly made us our favourite Caribbean staple of corned beef for breakfast. Nia from the entertainment team - our boys ADORED you! And the little one is still talking about and playing with the ‘hurt balloon’ Nia gave him! Alison from entertainment - our biggest boy’s fave, who successfully encouraged him to hold a tortoise! Donna - who was just a joy to stumble on around the resort, checking in on us regularly with very welcome chats Tryphina in the restaurants - who always took great care of us, and dealt so well with our boys each mealtime Ozzie - who was just a joyous ball of energy to stumble on around the resort Chef Kaiden - who was so lovely and friendly Miss Joanne in the coffee shop - what a lovely, lovely lady! A joy to encounter each day! And Riaan - regularly checking in on us and often found pitching in around the resort alongside the team. We absolutely cannot wait to return as a family of 5 next year! We are so grateful for the beautiful and memorable experience every member of staff ensured we had.

Excellent for location, service and extras!
The location is beautifully situated at the edge of a cove. Service was exceptional, as the local people are very friendly. The new manager is calm and very considerate of your comfort and satusfaction. The food is very good and who wouldn't like a rum cocktail upon arrival! Our overall experience was top notch.

A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE
We spent an absolutely great week at St. James Club. Started off with a very friendly welcome and smooth check in and quickly shown to our room. We stayed in the Royal Suite area, I would highly recommend, the rooms are beautiful, it is the Adult only section and has 2 pools and a bar, very nice. The resort is on a very large property and is situated on a point like property so on one side you have a bay with a very large beach area and calm waters, this is also where the water sports area is. The other side is the ocean side which has a large beach area as well but the water is a little rougher and it does have seed weed, we liked the bay side better. There are no "beach" bars but they have a mobile bar vehicle that goes up and down the beach, very cool idea. On the bay side there is the Mamora bar which is just off the beach and just above that is a pool area. There were several places to eat, from buffet to ala carte and lots of choices, quality was very good. I do have to special mention the burger at the 11 - Eleven restaurant, one of the best I have ever eaten! The staff here are amazing and so friendly, in fact every person we met on the island was friendly and welcoming. Dorland, Josilin and Wilson to name a few just made our stay so enjoyable. A special shout out to Riaan they GM, he truly led by example, he was always out and about helping with anything that was needed, was always happy to stop for a moment and have a quick chat, obviously loves what he does and is appreciated by the staff. The only things to take into consideration is that this resort is large and quite hilly and is not the most accessible for people with mobility issues , also it is not a party spot (which is what we look for), very peaceful and relaxing! Overall just an outstanding spot and we can't wait to visit again !

Best holiday ever
I have been coming to St James’s with my family for 30 years and this October we had the best trip ever there. The dates were 14-30th October. The service was exceptional and the staff were so friendly. Wishing you and your staff a happy Christmas and New Year and I look forward to visiting again in spring. Dave Brown
