Jan 27, 2026Royalton Bavaro – December 2025 Stay
We spent a week at Royalton Bavaro in mid-December 2025 and overall had a very enjoyable vacation. The resort has a great layout and is easy to get around. Both the beach and the pools were definitely among the highlights of our stay, offering plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beach in particular was beautiful and well maintained. I’d especially like to thank Miguel Ramirez, who truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay at every moment of our trip. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care really stood out and made a big difference to our overall experience. Service throughout the resort was excellent. In the Sands area, Fernelys, Franklin, and their team consistently provided warm, attentive, and friendly service. Around the pool area, Gary and his team were equally great — always helpful, welcoming, and attentive to guests’ needs. Food-wise, the Zen Teppanyaki restaurant was a standout. The food was very good, and the tableside teppanyaki experience was fun, engaging, and well done. As for the rooms, they were nice and spacious with a modern layout. However, they could use a bit of TLC — for example, some mirrors felt slightly old and musty. Given the beachfront location, this is understandable, but it’s worth noting. Overall, Royalton Bavaro offers a beautiful beach, great pools, a well-designed resort, strong service from its staff, and some very enjoyable dining experiences. With a bit of upkeep to the rooms, it could easily be an even better experience.

Incredible stay
We had an incredible stay as Travelsmart members. We came to the Royalton Bavaro with our family and some friends. Maria, from the Diamond Club and member services made sure everything was set up prior to our arrival as we were 14 people: dinner reservations were made and she booked the surf flowrider for us. Then, Jesus, our butler, made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and made some special arrangements for our daughter on her birthday ! We could not have asked for more. Finally, a big thank you to Alexis, the Diamond Pool barman and to Super Star at the pool for taking such good care of us every day while enjoying the sun ! It was a perfect stay !

Amazing experience
Amazing experience at the Royalton for 8 days. We were four families in the Diamond Club, staying in presidential suites. Our butler, Jesus, was truly exceptional and helped us a lot during our stay. Thanks as well to Maria from the Member Services team who planned everything for us before departure. The Diamond Club staff are amazing: Starling, Reynar, Fernando, Alexis, Wilkin, and many more.

Amazing week at the Royalton
Stunning hotel with a great variety of food in all restaurants. The Hunter steakhouse was the only bad experience we had. Staff round the hotel were friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back.

Amazing!
Beautiful location, resort was awesome for both adults and kids! Tons of things to do, main area was awesome at night with live music and fun for kids! Rooms were spacious and restocked daily. We had our wedding there and our coordinator was so helpful, prompt and accommodated our every need!
