Resort is clean and beautifully maintained. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was sub-par. Diamond club experience was very good, and our butler Eduardo was amazing! Eduardo went over and above to make my birthday special, right down to the surprise room decorations as well as making all of our dinner reservations and organizing/ booking our transportation to the airport at the end of our stay! Thank you !

We were very happy with the experience our Butler Eduardo was excellent. We would definitely come back and ask for him. The only thing was they did not fill the mini bar every night.

The best vacation!
We had an amazing time here! Ignore all of the negative reviews…the food is great ..we never had an issue finding a chair by the pool or beach and I really loved that there are so many lounge areas to sit…sure the rooms are needing an update but they are clean to me that’s all I care about..we were given clean towels every day and yes they do have face wash cloths you just have to ask…the staff is what makes the trip memorable from the pool bars to the lobby bars they are fantastic!! Shout out to Rueben. Gary. Jeramy. Mateo.Jimmy and Ashley they were always happy to see us and remembered our names! But all the staff there work so hard!

Even better the second time ‘round!
We just returned from an amazing family vacation (two adults, three kids ages 3, 5, 7) at the Royalton Bavaro, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. This was our second time staying here (our first visit was in 2022), and it absolutely lived up to — and even exceeded — our expectations after our first trip. This time we stayed with the Diamond Club experience, which we really loved and would highly recommend. The added level of service, ease, and access made the trip feel extra special and stress-free, especially when traveling as a family. A special shout-out to Eduardo, our butler, who was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always making sure everything was taken care of and that we were enjoying ourselves to the fullest. His professionalism and warmth truly made a difference and elevated the entire experience. The buffet was great. There were many options for all ages and diets. Our butler made a few reservations for us: Japanese, Seafood and Italian. Japanese was fun and delicious - we all loved it. The beach was perfect. It was clean. Diamond Club allowed for us to truly lay back and be served, which facilitated more time with our kids. The staff were lovely. Ruben is a fun bartender. I wish we knew his name: big guy every morning at Diamond Club Oceanside for breakfast at the egg/omelet station was so friendly and such a warm welcome every morning. Bilacie (sp?) served us for breakfast and lunch every day was so sweet. There was one staff member (Lenin) who did come around and tell us there was a promotion for a free service. Once we said a free massage, he then said we needed to meet with him about a time share the following morning. We opted not to meet with him because we felt he hooked us and weren’t interested in a time share. He found us the following morning to say maybe we could meet the next day because if we didn’t he would lose money. I asked to speak with his manager but he walked away. Just be cautious with the hooks - we should have known better. The room was great and clean. We enjoyed our time fully and created wonderful family memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again — Royalton Bavaro continues to be a great choice for a relaxing, high-quality family vacation.
