Royalton is a very nice place..really glad we chose to stay here.. we did the aquafit and saw the gym and hang out with jameel who showed us a couple of movements and he also hang out with us at thr beach .. the staff as well were very friendly love the drinks and thr food and thr vibes was nice !

Best butler of Diamond Club- Royalton Antigua
Just at Royalton Antigua and was blessed to have the services of our DC butler team. @shauna was incredible the whole week of 1st class service. The minute she stepped out, she ensured assistant Rodwin was on hand to take over. Make sure to ask for her and say Dan and Nancy from Toronto Canada said, she was the best!

We stayed at Royalton St Lucia! Would recommend to everyone. But Royalton Antigua nothing but disappointment! Wouldn’t recommend. Never enough cups at bar or restaurants so drinks served all sorts of cups! Water on the bar first day then not at all or randomly! We had interconnecting rooms with another couple! Which were constantly loud in early hours 3.37 am for an hour nightly hotel offered to speak to them but didn’t and just kept apologising and offering room change but they said with a worse view! Last night after constantly speaking how unhappy we were didn’t even get our room cleaned!!!! No mini bar replenished for 2 days no coffee or cream replenishing after first day! Just wouldn’t come back or recommend!!!!

The Royalton Antigua has some bad reviews on here but don’t pay attention to them. Overall the property is in good shape and has a fantastic beach with great views. It is located about 30 mins from the air port so not so bad when traveling in. Pros 1. The beach. It is a very calm beautiful beach that you will want to go on every day. Get out there early and reserve your spot. 2. For us at least the rooms were fine. If you can you can upgrade to a diamond club room but not the diamond club perks. It’s fine I feel the diamond club perks aren’t all that great anyway. The ac may have been the coldest ac I ever had in a Caribbean island lol. The ac will go off when you open the balcony door so close it if you want it to start back up again. A lot of ppl complained about the ac not working I bet that was the issue. 3. Plenty of food and drink options. I’m not gonna say all the food options are great but if you have kids you’ll always find something . My four year old is very picky and he enjoyed his meals. 4. Do the safari tour where you swim with the sting rays. It takes about 6 hours but totally worth it. Great experience and our tour guy Big John was the man. 5. House keeping was great, if you let them do your room and not stay in it all day it will be done a timely fashion. 6. Front desk was great if we needed anything I called they came up with in 10-15 mins. Cons 1. Restaurant options. For Breakfast there is only one spot the buffet and it’s never consistently done well. Scoops the coffee spot with ice cream and treats has great coffee and gelato. Only issue there is they never have the full ingredients to make the order you might want. Lunch options are limited as well. You have the Buffett but that becomes tiring. You have the bar scores which I think is great but they take a while to make your order and the beach club restaurant is small and not a lot of options. Dinner has more options you have to make your reservations for the 3 but make sure you do so or you’ll be eating at the Buffett all the time. The steak house was disappointing. No real steak on the menu they want you to upgrade and pay for the good meats. Based off the food we got you woulda been getting robbed. The Caribbean restaurant was ok, tasted like a chain Caribbean restaurant not authentic to me. The Italian restaurant was probably the best one. Order the Osoubucco maybe the best thing I had at the entire resort. Overall that brings this resorts rating down for food and slow service. If they upped their game probably would get them a 5 but it’s ok at best which is why i gave them a 4.3.

Bungalow Experience
My wife and I booked one of the overwater bungalows and they were fantastic! The bungalow was clean and had amazing views of the water. Our butlers Scharlene and Earl met our every need with wonderful attitudes and service. They both did a fantastic job. As for other aspects of the resort, food was good but nothing to write home about, but the service in the restaurants were great. My only complaints were the buffet and the swim up bar. It seems both were not in a rush in preparing food or drink. Otherwise our stay was great and I would recommend the bungalows for sure!
