Things to Know

  • Taking a boat ride out to get a gander of El Arco is a must-do. (No, really, it is.)
  • Bring your own thermal cup to the pool - they'll fill it. Bottoms up, beach lovers.

If you feel more like an artist, then create your own pizza with the choice of any fine and fresh ingredients.     Relaxed!

    Great location, not too busy in January. Waiters were mostly kind and pleasant, house keeping was great, clean rooms and resort. Hazel at front desk was exceptional. Other gentleman just walked away when I asked him For help with something? Food got a bit tiresome but to be expected re buffet for a week. Managed to get 2/3 dinner reservations only through front desk help. Not on the app. Kids club seems a little run down, out dated. Could use a bit more engagement by the many staff that work there to be more fun? Thank you to Romi for always smiling, and checking in for drinks at the pool. Beach is lovely. Walk to old town well worth it. Restaurants outside the resort are very over priced. Overall- good for price point and time of year escape. Thank you!

    Was hesitant at first from reading reviews!

    We travelled with our children and 2 grandchildren. We chose this resort for the kids amenities. They were great. The kids park with the water slides were really fun. Several slides for all ages. The kids pool was where we spent all our time. It was perfect for them. The pool service was fantastic! Thank you especially to Romi! Overall the bartenders were awesome! The pool entertainment was better as the week progressed. The activities staff were very friendly and high energy! We were a bit hesitant about the food after reading all the reviews but as it turned out it was fine. There was always something good to eat. Take advantage of the 30minute BBQ’s at the poolside! They were exceptional. All the staff in the buffet and restaurants were friendly and helpful! A shout out to Luis he was wonderful! Make sure visit the concierge desk and speak with Dee she was over and above helping to make our dinner reservations and anything we needed! Thank you! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed! Also they were cleaned first thing in the morning while we had breakfast. If you stick to a routine it works great! The entertainment in the theater was really fun! Every night something different! We missed a few and I am wishing I could have seen them. Unfortunately we had a disappointing check out. We ordered room service and knew there was a fee which I was aware of and comfortable with. We ordered some wine with dinner to which they brought an entire bottle. Ok whatever. They ended up charging us upon checkout around 380 peso! What?? It’s an all inclusive! I have no problem paying for service but when you charge me for a drink I can get all day long and as much as I want that’s nuts! We had spoken the guy at checking out but he said he was just doing his job and we need to pay for it. He directed us to speak to guest services. We told her what we ordered and that we only wanted a glass and they brought the bottle. Which we only drank a glass from it. She proceeded to go to our room and collect the bottle to bring down and give it to us. She said we paid for it take it it’s yours! Wow!!! Thanks! Sure I will drink 3/4 of a bottle of wine at 11am before I get on the taxi! Ha ha! What I will say to you as I said to her…. They need to be very clear if they are going to charge you EXTRA for something which is already included in your trip. That left a very poor feeling for us. A total misunderstanding between us and the person who took our order. How hard would it have been for the manager to say they’d take that off our bill! Considering I could have had it for free anywhere in the resort except my room! Just wanted to warn you so you don’t get unexpected charges!

    Antjuan is the man!!!!

    We went to Royal Solaris with our friends by invite. We had such a great time and loved the service. Antjuan was the absolute best of the best! He was so polite and took care of every need we had for our vacation. Thank you so much for make this such a memorable trip.

    So nice! Good food and drinks

    Every one was super nice! Very helpful right when we got there! Had a wonderful time with my wife for a perfect getaway very chill atmosphere. Everyone was friendly great service.
