  BEWARE…..STAT AWAY

  BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE RESORT!!! I would like to start by saying we go to Mexico once a year & we have travelled all over the world!! I will start with the positive, Royal Solaris Cancun was very clean, I give them 5 starts for that but THAT’S IT! We were with family, group of 13 people, wanted to spend NYE together, the food quality is VERY LOW, many food items are the same during breakfast, lunch & dinner, there are no other restaurants in the resort except Varo or whatever the name was, it served the SAME FOOD AS THE BUFFET!!! The kicker here is that we got ready for New Year’s Eve party just to find out the resort HAD SOLD ALL TICKETS TO PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE THE RESORT, WE WERE NOT OFFERED THE CHOICE TO PAY FOR THE EXPENSIVE TICKETS, WE WERE STANDING ON THE SIDE OF THE POOL WATCHING THE PERFOMANCES. Also, bar tenders are SUPER rude, no matter how much you tip, you ask for certain drink, which you can see up on the shelf, they refused, bartender said I’m not opening that bottle today, really???? Reception staff should be the face of the resort as well, they are THE RUDEST, they have no problem waving you away or just ignoring you. THIS IS THE WORST RESORT WE EVER STSYED AT, WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!!! SHAME ON YOU ROYAL SOLARIS CANCUN & SHAME ON YOUR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

  Best trip!

  We stayed in the beautiful corner presidential suite with a balcony and hot tub overlooking the ocean at the Royal Solaris for two weeks. As we entered the facilities because we a premier members, we were greeted with champagne. We were introduced to Ross our butler. Wow, what a joy to work with. He's full of energy and enthusiasm always ready to meet every need you have. From laundry to problems that may arise. He'll take care of you. He even went to the market and got better deals for us on some things. We saw him 6 days a week. What I love about this location you have two different vibes. If you want peace and relaxation where its quite, you can find it, but if you want excitement and energy that can also be found here. Our room was always cleaned. I do recommend that recycle can be put in the rooms for plastic bottles, glass and cans. They were not in our room. They were all over the hotel though. Everywhere was always spotless. Our room also had a very nice scent to it. Not overwhelming either. Because we were next to the elevators we could here people in the am, but it wasn't bad. One of the new perks for starting in a presidential suite i a complimentary cabana. It was awesome. I didn't have to get up each morning and claim my chairs. Talk about luxury! Lazaro was our personal presidential area server. He was on top of his game every single day. He totally took care of everyone with a positive attitude and more. He was always going beyond the call of duty. Super nice guy. We love him. The food was very good lots of choices. Some venues changed depending on where you go and others were the same throughout the week. But all were tasty. They have a new Asin restaurant. We loved it Ivan took care of us. Excellent server. We love fish, so it was perfect. Be specific when ordering, they are accommodating. It was awesome! They also made the flaming coffee their. A fun thing to watch them make and is very good. I really like how they're so many different courses at all the restaurants. Lots of options to taste everything. Maybe a Topas restaurant in the future would be nice. For our activity we decided on ATVing and swimming. Wow. We loved it. It will knock the socks off you. Get ready to be sore. We loved it so much, we skipped lunch ( which everyone else loved) and went for a second round of ATVing. Afterwards we caught up we everyone swimming and zip lining into the water. They also have a rope walk across the water and high jumps. I think this year was my favorite year so far. The level of serves was fabulous, I want to thank Ross personally for making that happen. You rock my friend! With all the beautiful beaches and morning walks. We felt perfectly safe. The police patrol to take care of vacationers. We will be back!

  Best time ever!

  Best bartenders ever! So much fun and the drinks are amazing!! They are the best! Ask for Isaac, Ruben, Kalimba!

  Really friendly service!

  I wish I had stayed longer so I could've enjoyed everything it has to offer but I will be back sooner than later. On my first day I went to the restaurant next to the pool with a pretty view to the beach and Manuel had an amazing vibe. If you're at the lobby hotel look for Manuel and/or Aury, I was amazed at their speedy yet friendly service, if you go to the spa Bere or Yuli since they will leave you feeling like a brand new person. I visited the members place on my last day and Isac, Ruben and Kalimba made my time there one of the best experiences at a bar ever. The only downside I can pinpoint, the elevator on my floor had a broken button so had to press the up button if you wanted to call it.

  Beautiful! Relaxing! Wonderful Beach and Pool! ADULTS ONLY!

  Very clean! Looks like a Spanish Villa with red brick rooftops and painted pure white stucco! Excellent beach! Nice relaxing pool area with great service! ADULTS ONLY! Rooms were lovely! Italian restaurant is outstanding! The atmosphere is beautiful and calm and relaxing! No stupid bubbles at the pool or loud obnoxious music and Dj’s.. instead they had nice music playing in the background at all times including live performances of solo violinist, solo saxophonist. They still supplied games and crafts and some ( pretend) gambling, daily, with prizes to be won . I wish they just had more umbrellas on the beach! Good value would definitely recommend and would definitely return! The ‘Sportsbar’ is great! Dancing and music and drinks until the am!! Lobby bar was beautifully decorated and comfortable including an indoor swing! Food at the snack bar by the pool was mediocre. Small and limited options. The hot tub (warm tub) was really nice and overlooks the ocean! Love the bracelets which are also your room key and key to enter/exit beach area!:)
