Advertised as 5/5. Was expecting 4/5. But got 2/5.

Let's start with what's good: - Service in Cancun is excellent. I've been there multiple times in different resorts, and staff is always kind and professional. To me, it's 5/5. - Room was excellent too. Clean, comfortable, and quiet without being luxurious. We don't require more. To me is has 5/5. Now the bad stuff: - Dining options were limited and the quality was average. The hotel advertises a Brazilian steakhouse as one of its dining options but the steakhouse no longer exists. I find this practice very disingenuous to prospects and actual guests because by the time you find out, it's too late. The hotel does not serve natural fruit juices (it's all from concentrate), no espresso coffee, ice cream was almost impossible to find, and overall food quality was average. I would have gone for 3/5 but the restaurant lie makes it a 2/5 for me. - As far as value goes, well, there's no room service included, the hotel has too many stairs up and down, would not recommend to anybody that has problems going up and down stairs, the pools are really small, and the hotel just looks very old. Definitely not a 5-star like they advertise it. It's a 2/5 for me in value. Finally the worst item for us: the beach, it was awful. I my previous trips I had been to the north facing side of Cancun where the water is calm but not turquoise. This time around, we were shooting for that turquoise feeling, well yes, we got the color, but it was so choppy that it was impossible to get in, and here's the worst part, it stays like that for the whole year, always choppy, never calm, not even in the morning. Please do not make the mistake to think I'm judging Cancun because of having the bad luck of visiting during bad weather, nop, do your research, google things, and you will see. I still can't wrap my head around why hotels have not invested in some sort of artificial barriers to the wave issue. Again, do your research, Cancun is always choppy if you visit the hotel zone. Sea weeds are abundant and disgusting too. So yes, that's my take, the overall result is below average for me: a 2/5. Me and my family are in the market for another spot this year, but Cancun did not work for us. I hope this review helps.

Amazing Time!

The staff is great! The rooms are clean! There is always something to do. I will definitely be back. It was my second time visiting the resort and both times I’ve been extremely pleased.

What's to Love

The breathtaking sands and turquoise waters are some of the prettiest we ever seen. Bonus: the tranquil waves that whisper your name for an afternoon swim.

Made-to-order, scrumptious brick oven pizzas served by the pool (lunch with a killer view always wins.)

Check out the theatre - a smorgasboard of shows, including comedy, Broadyway, Mayan and more. It's different each night!

Tons of super fun activities for the young ones - each day is a different theme - Tuesdays are Pirate Days (Aye, Matey!)

Full-service stress-ousting spa where you are fussed over and pampered.

What We'd Change

The resort is busy, active and you might see lots of fun families - keep this in mind if you're looking for lots of peace and quiet.

Why You Should Go

In the heart of Cancun's Hotel Zone - once you land, you'll be soaking in the sweet sun beachside in no time.

Swoon-worthy views of the Caribbean Sea from almost every spot at the resort.

For those that want to kick it up a notch and party in Cancun, a one-way shuttle will take you into town. (Your secrets are safe with us).

The two-level pool is full of nooks and crannies to explore so you can find the best spot to spend your day.

A mini-water park is a major hit with your little angels (and a hit with you - they will be happily worn out.)
