We noticed that things have changed as far as service and quality at this resort. Last year the burger in the steakhouse was amazing. We looked forward to getting the same burger only to find out that it is now just a basic frozen burger nothing like described on the menu. We also noticed other small things that have been sacrificed to I assume save money that is unfortunate because it’s the little things that keep people coming back. The staff at the resort are fantastic from the customers service girl to the waiters in the restaurants the bartenders. Friendly, helpful, always accommodating in the best way possible.

The staff was beyond incredible! Super happy and helpful. It made me feel alive and full. There were so many blessings, we even got to witness a giant sea turtle lay her eggs on the beach! Unforgettable trip, we will be going back for sure!

Highly recommend
This RIU is very consistent. Staff is excellent always trying to do more. Front desk, Entertainment, Housekeeping, ALL servers. The location is very convenient to walk into the smaller town of Bucerias or a cab ride to the beautiful Puerto Vallarta Malecon

Riu Get Away
Our stay at the Riu Vallarta was a great get away. the staff were all very helpful and friendly,, the food was good and the entertainment was great. We enjoyed the lighting of the Christmas decorations. the beach was, of course, awesome.

Food is great. Several pools . Lloved the lobby bar the bar tender was my favorited. It was my happy place each evening to have two drinks before retiring
