May 12, 2025Couldn't help but love it!
It's 1:39 am, my flight is in 9 hours and I don't want to go home. This trip was an unplanned surprise and it became the best vacations I had in my life. Maybe because i haven't seen a beach 5 years and maybe because I also saw my cousin for the first time in 14 years but I know it was also the hotel experience: I met so many wonderful people: Leo, Laura, Zefe, Julio, Felix, Javier and many more than made me feel like home. The management was specially very helpful and attentive to me when I needed help. Kindness and smiles every day. I worked many years in hotels as a cook and pastry chef and it was a mix of pride and admiration to watch the team of the hotel work each day so hard to get things done so that we, the guests have the best experience possible. I hope i can come back. I have no words other than I know know more than ever than I need a beach in my life and I will work towards that. :D I'll forever remember this vacations. <3 Ana

Incredible hotel! Would highly recommend
We stayed here for our honeymoon in Mexico and absolutely loved it! The hotel has something for everyone, the staff are so kind and welcoming. The rooms are a great size, and the beds are huge. The food was delicious and the variety of restaurants to choose from was great. Couldn’t have imagined spending our honeymoon anywhere else, would highly recommend!

The resort is clean, has good animation, big and clean rooms. The rooms are really noisy. The pools are nice and clean. The food buffet is not so good. Unhealthy and not very tastefull. Also the restaurants are really huge, cold and crowded. The theme restaurants serve the exact same food as the buffet restaurant, no added value. The evening shows are great but almost every show is a dancing show. During the evening you can only sit in the dark with a huge crowd. No candles, lights on your table, so the evenings are not romantic/relaxing. There are no cosy bars to sit and relax. Unfortunately I also got food poisened/sick, but you are never sure if the hotel was responsible for that.

Really enjoyed our time at Tequila. Not on the water, but very close to it! Loved the lay out, friendly staff. Can walk to town in 20 minutes. The resort is in a section that is gated so we felt very secure! Definitely want to come back!

Return trip to tequila
Wonderful trip again to the tequila. Only complaint is A/C not working/ unable to fix. The room could not go below 24 degrees. Which made sleeping almost impossible.
