The food was less than desirable. The price of the trip was cheap so I didn’t expect to notch food but it really wasn’t good at all. Service was top notch! Beds were horrible…woke up with back pain everyday. Rooms smelled like mold.

Some Good/ Some not so
My stay teetered from outstanding to not outstanding. The food at the buffet was very good. The speciality restaurants, beach food, sports bar and lobby sandwiches not good at all. Most staff were great. Especially the cleaning staff and the bartenders (pool bar,Lobby bar, and sports bar were great). Some staff weren't welcoming. A few were rude. The property was great, well kept and beautiful. The rooms need a little love but they were clean. Lastly, loved our Amstar rep. I believe her name was Stephanie. The food and some of the service was disappointing to me. But this is not to take away from some of the outstanding people you have.

The hotel was majestic and rooms were spacious with all the amenities. Fully stocked fridge 😊 Excellent friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great entertainment at the pool, plus pool volleyball was so much fun. The hotel is located on the pale golden fine sandy beach and blue turquoise waters. Highly recommend RIU hotels

Amazing place for the all family
What a great vacation time we spent at Riu palace Punta Cana, the staff, the hotel, the location of the beach with all the palm trees. I recommend everyone to go experience this place, either as a couple or with all the family.

The property is due to a major renovation. Not terrible, but for the price I wish I would have looked at a different property. The service was very good, but the staff (male) needs to stop making sexual advances to the guests. My three daughters were asked for the personal information a number of times and the serving staff touched them. Also, they would make inappropriate gestures.
