Great service and resort

Excellent facility and service all the way around, very friendly staff. The restaurant situation could be improved with reservations. The hotel can also use better liquors by the pool. I never heard of the bottles they are using for drinks.

Not the Best Riu Expereince

This was not the best experience in Riu Resort . We did not ever get greeted with a welcome Drink no good service. Every year I travel and always go to RIU and have had the best experience but not this one. It was small they keep the AC very low in there Entertainment area/dance floor which got very wet and caused my daughter to fall and hurt her self. which caused my daughter to be in pain for the rest of our vacation time not good. Had to put in a incident report. Not much of a food selection to pick from. They did upgrade my room when I got there but ended having toilet problems had to call multiple time to front desk reception to send someone to fix it and for more towels. I will not go there ever again. Well not the RIU What made it good was we met many nice people which made the trip nice . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if ever go back to the Bahamas will try another resort. Disappointed also no one meet me at the airport for my Bus transfer had to find it on my own

Had a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at Rui. At check-in, the staff was friendly, champagne when we arrived was nice. The room was very clean, 15th floor with a double balcony, the view was beautiful. Adelis and Rashard, our first 2 bartenders, were very friendly, loved their specialty drinks. Chevale was great too, he's a Patriot's Fan. The drinks were really good, Blue Coral's at the pool bar were great, and Blanc Martini / Chocolate Martini's at the indoor bar were my favorites. Had Jackie at breakfast, she was very friendly and accommodating, had my Mimosa ready for me. The hotel was very clean. We ate at Crystal Rest. twice, great Squash Soup and it was quiet and relaxing. Steakhouse was okay - not worth the long wait, it was too loud and felt rushed. Japanese Rest. was good,it was relaxing, didn't feel rushed. The buffet had great breakfasts, and dinner had a nice variety. The jerked pork and chicken was delicious for lunch. Only negatives, had to ask to have our fridge restocked with water/diet coke and getting the room cleaned took a long time. The beach was beautiful, the staff helped you get umbrellas and setup chairs for you, they were great. I would go again. It was a nice relaxing, adult only vacation, just what we were looking for.

Girls Trip

I was hesitant about booking through any site for a Bahama vacation and even more when I read some of the reviews! So glad we went for it - everything was amazing especially the staff! Thrilled we didn’t book at the Atlantis - it was horrible and not our style! TG for the Riu and our amazing driver Matthew! Loved swimming with the pigs!

What's to Love

No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.

Primo beachfront locale - three miles of satiny sand hugged by luscious, aquamarine water.

The Renova Spa - the massages squeeze the stress right out of your bod.

The rockin' theme nights twice a week - get ready to kick it. Put on your party pants.

Krystal Fusion Restaurant - it's a journey into the unexplored terrain of epic new sensations.

The unfailing, beachtastic service & attention. You'll feel like the beach royalty that you are.

Did we mention this resort has the only infinity pool in all of Nassau/Paradise Island?

What We'd Change

You may not find as many on-site activities like the other mega resorts, but the prime beachfront property makes up for it.

Why You Should Go

There's a hoppin', Vegas-style casino next door - grab sweet Lady Luck and try your hand.

The water sports (jet skis, water skiing & more) will blow you out of the water. Hang on!

You can dive into aahh-mazing excursions like swimming with the dolphins.

Atlantis next door has a great nightclub when you want to get your dance on.

The inventive entertainment staff is off-the-charts creative. They won't disappoint.

You're close to downtown Nassau - see the old quarter, museums, zoo and botanical gardens.

Hotel Description

Riu Palace Paradise Island (Adults-Only): All-Inclusive Bahamas Bonanza

Bahama Mama Mia does this Riu have it all. And then some. Let's start with the dreamy, three-mile stretch of silky sand, where you can chillax, get your drink on (and on - no one's counting) and ignore the world, or hit a game of beach volleyball and burn some calories. And that's just the tip of the beachberg. Toggle between the Jacuzzi at the epic infinity pool and indulge in stress-ousting treatments at the lush spa aka Relaxation Central, or hit the slots next door and hang at the always-festive, hip bars until the sea cows come home. Is that a "yes" we hear? When might we expect you?

It's Time to Get Your Riu On.
