Nice resort

Nicely remodeled, good staff. Only down side was poor A/C control. Either too hot or too cold and it did not seem to be able to regulate it from the room. Really beautiful beach, happy bartenders. Entertainment was just OK. If the DJ could have played a wider variety of music, ie '80's, 90's, a little country and current songs it could have been a better disco experience and more fun at the pool. In the 3 years we have been going to the RIU the type of music played has been disappointing, because there was no variety. However, it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. I would recommend the RIU

We had a really nice time. I read complaints about the elevators, but we never experienced a problem. My only complaint was that the coffee/cappuccino shop didn't open until 10:00 am, which made no sense to me. There were mornings I would have loved one before breakfast. The service there was excellent, even including the guys that took care of setting up chairs and an umbrella for you on the beach. We even left our shoes down there by accident one day and when I went down around dinner time, there was a guy there waiting with them for me to come and pick them up. He had put away the chairs, traded in our towels for towel cards and had it ready to pick up. I was impressed with the service. The entertainment was a little lacking, but we still had a wonderful time.

Overall horrible adults only for the money

The price of this package was very high for what you got. The employees didn’t seem to want to be there, and not a large staff either for entertainment. There wasn’t much of entertainment anyway. Bars Cynthia the pool closed at 6 but twice closed at five because they stated they had a private party that was paid for, and the other time they said they ran out of cups.(Well we paid too) The place was extremely small and no nightlife except one place for everyone to collect together. No night lighting or music by pool. No outdoor bar in the evening to enjoy. The food was terrible just about anywhere. When you hear all inclusive you should be able to enter any restaurant and order what you wish but we were told you can only order one meal and not anything extra. They would not accommodate our party of 12 to sit together even though they were able to. This was NOT an Adults only atmosphere because the place was dead after 6. That’s when you are “supposed to eat” because the restaurants close at 8. We would have liked to have eaten later and were actually turned away a restaurant at 8 because they said they weren't taking anymore people. Totally ridiculous, absolutely horrible! Would never recommend to anyone!!! Waste of money!

Best vacation purchased ever

Where do I start??? From the moment we landed although it was a day later due to weather in New York, the staff at the Riu knew we had arrived. When we pulled up I was amazed by the cleanliness the ambience and the friendly faces. While we were waiting on line to check in (which was easy breezy), a staff member came over with drinks to welcome my crew and I. The jerk hut was where we went for lunch everyday. It's conveniently located right over by the pools (which were beautiful and amazing) The food was awesome. Now the pool bar is where we spent our days, the staff was sooo amazing, I'll be returning next year just so I can hang with them. We went as a party of 5 but all the guest were respectful and awesome to hang with, but the staff...... they know how to keep a party live and keep everyone feeling like family! So happy I experienced this, and as I said earlier I'll be going next year for sure and probably every year thereafter. Highly recommended!! If you go, look for Chevy & Kellen...... they are truly amazing people!

Let's go

What's to Love

No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.

Primo beachfront locale - three miles of satiny sand hugged by luscious, aquamarine water.

The Renova Spa - the massages squeeze the stress right out of your bod.

The rockin' theme nights twice a week - get ready to kick it. Put on your party pants.

Krystal Fusion Restaurant - it's a journey into the unexplored terrain of epic new sensations.

The unfailing, beachtastic service & attention. You'll feel like the beach royalty that you are.

Did we mention this resort has the only infinity pool in all of Nassau/Paradise Island?

What We'd Change

You may not find as many on-site activities like the other mega resorts, but the prime beachfront property makes up for it.

Why You Should Go

There's a hoppin', Vegas-style casino next door - grab sweet Lady Luck and try your hand.

The water sports (jet skis, water skiing & more) will blow you out of the water. Hang on!

You can dive into aahh-mazing excursions like swimming with the dolphins.

Atlantis next door has a great nightclub when you want to get your dance on.

The inventive entertainment staff is off-the-charts creative. They won't disappoint.

You're close to downtown Nassau - see the old quarter, museums, zoo and botanical gardens.
