The service was straight up good, not exceptional but is was good. food was a bit hit or miss. The Asian restaurant was amazing. while some other places where pretty bad(the buffet, and the sports bar). the hotel is very pretty the room was nice, but the lack of water and power was very annoying and happens quite frequently. My biggest problem with the hotel was that they make rules. (which is a good thing.). But don't dear to enforce the rules. this created chaos at the pools and that just ruined our peace. multiple speakers at the pools, glassware in pools and very drunken people doing very dangerous things in the pools. to sum up it was a fine hotel but not a five star experience.

Need to accommodate all customers request in food choices add to reduce item in gourmet food. Need more fast food carts

Room and campus are excellent and was a pleasant to visit all areas of the hotel. The grounds are beautiful.
Room and campus are excellent and was a pleasant to visit all areas of the hotel. The grounds are beautiful. We love the palm trees on the beach. We do have to mention the food was good sometimes and other times not so good. But overall it was a very nice experience.

The hotel was spotless, the food was great, my room was serviced daily, and the bar was well-stocked. We will definitely come back.

We are currently at the hotel on day 3 of our holiday. We have a further 11 days to go and I just want to go home! We wish we had booked elsewhere! The staff are very rude, no eye contact, slam food down onto the tables, reception doesn’t want to help. Don’t expect sleep, partying going on until 5am in the morning, running around the corridors shouting. This has been reported but nothing has been done. My husband asked for a nice table and table decorations for our anniversary meal. Krystal staff when we arrived didn’t understand it was for our anniversary. The food was served, my husband had chicken and I had beef both were cold. We had to leave! We were then left with no where to eat apart from the buffet because everyone was full. Depending what bar you order from, depends on if the beer is cloudy or not. It tastes like the pipes haven’t been changed. The pools are cloudy and dirty. The adults only pool I have reported on day 1 that there is broken glass at the bottom this still remains there. The complex itself is beautiful just a shame about the service. Never experienced the above at a RIU hotel before, but certainly will not be returning. 11 days to go pray for us!!
