Great Vacation

This was our first time to both a Riu Resort and Aruba and it was AMAZING. The resort was great. The food was DELICIOUS, the pools and beach were fantastic and the staff treated us like royalty. We got upgraded to a Villa room- which I definitely recommend! It’s a separate (low rise) building from the main (high rise) hotel with about 30 rooms. These 30 Villa rooms share their own private pool and cabanas. A very serene place separate from the hustle and bustle of the main pool area. Each night, the resort offered a show- all of which were good also. As a Riu Antillas guest, you also have the opportunity to use the facilities at the Riu Palace next door (which is not adults only). Both my husband and I would go back to this resort. It was an awesome trip.

Amazing Vacation!

We love Riu’s and the Antillas in Aruba did not disappoint! My room was clean and spacious, no issues at all. I was a little nervous reading other reviews but was pleased to find out my room was beautiful with no complaints, honestly, this is what I expected. The staff is amazing, we went for my moms birthday and they made us feel like queens from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The food is delicious, I actually cancelled a reservation at the flying fish bone since the food was so good. I was eating rack of lamb, lobster tails and filet mignons all week! Meat is usually a little weird in other country’s but it was just fine in Aruba. Only complaint was the seating, we eat late, around 8:30 so we really had no issues getting into any of the resturants. The steak house was turning people away, but I’m very persistent and if you just work with the staff, they’ll work with you. I over heard the manager telling a couple that they will be redoing the riu in 2020, so we’ll be back in 2021! Don’t listen to the bottom shelf alcohol reviews neither, I was drinking Bombay Safire, stoli, absolute and Jim bean all week, watching them open fresh bottles taking the plastic off in front of my eyes! I’m definitely high maintence and enjoy the finer things in life, trust me, this riu will suffice!!! Only reason you wouldn’t enjoy this resort is if you like to complain, LOL!

Best Vacation Ever

This was the first all inclusive trip me and my boyfriend have ever taken. This was the best vacation we have ever been on. Within a few hours of being on site they had us up and dancing. By day 2 the staff already knew who we were. The staff was extremely attentive, polite, friendly, and personable. The entire staff looked like they actually enjoy their jobs! They had activites to do and events and/or shows every night. The food options were fantastic and tasted amazing. It was also amazing how many separate areas they had to hang out in all outdoors so your not stuck inside. I would highly recommend booking at this location and will be returning. Adults only really is the best way to go and me and my boyfriend cannot wait to come back. Keep up the good work!!
