  Just a Great Vacation

  Hi All .... We spent 2 Glorious weeks at the Riu Antilles Aruba just a few short weeks ago at Rui .... the Hotel and Staff and Food was just Fabulous. The Beach was also Great Can't wait to go back.

  First time to Aruba

  The location was beautiful! Right on the beach. The atmosphere was noisier than I was hoping for. People packed at the beach, had to get there by 6am to get a seat with an umbrella. Loud music playing from 11am until late evening. The room was very clean, spacious and well appointed with mini bar. Considering this was all inclusive, and there was food a plenty, the price was reasonable. All staff encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating. The Krystal restaurant was the nicest for ambiance, but the octopus was hard and rubbery. They did offer to replace it with something else, which was better. The steak house was just ok. Food lacked some flavor. Our favorite restaurant was the Aruban. Great food was had there. We went back twice.

  Not a 4 Star Resort!!!!

  I am disappointed with the RIU Antilles Adult Only all inclusive. First let me say tha the room itself is very spacious and comfortable. The minibar and alcohol dispenser is stocked quite well. The view howeve leaves something to be desired. We do have an Ocean view , we also overlook the parking lot .. The buffet for breakfast is a good and plentiful buffet but you can expect a long wait depending on your breakfast time if you want an omelet. Lunch is just okay as the only restaurants open are near the pool. We actually found it better to eat at the sports bar at the RIU Palace for lunch. Nothing special burgers wings etc Dinner is a complete joke. There are 4 specialty restaurants tha do not take reservations . Guest have to line up before 5:20 even try to get in for 6pm and there is no guarantee a table will be available because their elite guest appear to have the ability to reserve tables or tha is what we saw last evening. We did get into the fish restaurant and the food was mediocre. I did not realize tha all inclusive would mean a buffet and burgers. Unless you wait in line for an hour to try to get a table. The beach area has plenty of chairs and if you grease the attendants palm they may also get you a spot near the water. The upkeep of the beach is poor . Really it’s a mess. We walked down the beach path to an excursion at the Hyatt and we realized just how bad the upkeep of the beach area was. The staff does not ever clear chairs that are not being used so you can basically save chairs for the entire day. I paid over $1,000 a day for this below average resort. Buyer beware!!!!!

  Beautiful resort with wonderful amenities

  This was the first time my husband and I did an all inclusive. The RIU Antillas is a gorgeous facility and the rooms are amazing with amazing views. Things you should know…food is probably 7 out of 10. For the price you pay, we would have liked it to be a little better. Also, they do not take reservations at the restaurants so people line up an hour before it opens just to get a seat and most people do not get a seat! The steakhouse was the best meal we had so worth the wait. The bar staff at the pool are not friendly regardless if you tip or not! In fact we found them to be rude! However, The staff at the restaurants are very nice! I do not know what it is like at other all inclusives, but here people get up at 5-6 am and put their towels on their beach and pool chairs and then go back to bed!!! I got up one morning at 7 and got two chairs on the beach,back row, and the two chairs in front of me, which were in a prime location did not come and get their seats till 1 PM!! Just think there should be a system in place. If you want a chill environment on the beach in a beautiful resort, this is your place!

  Best all inclusive Hotel , Aruba one Happy Island 😊

  This Hotel was fantstic !! Great Food/ all inclusive , great staff/ very friendly. Good pools, fantastic beach and water. No rocks/ seaweed , just clean white sand. Clean big rooms with a view. Massive hotel with an quiet almost private feel. Easy walking to shops and resturants etc, very safe to walk around at night. Hotel shops are very good also with a good selection. If your traveling without kids $ for $ , id give this a 10/10 There are many choices in Aruba but id definetly be back and recomend this hotel to my family friends. Gerrard & Bo
