Every time we travel to Mexico we make reservations at Riu Hotels, we enjoy the rooms,swimming pools and the ocean. The food and restaurant service is outstanding. The family section is great for children. The evening shows are great. Overall the experience is awsome.

I booked this hotel because of a tight budget for myself, wife, elderly parents, two adult children/spouse and my granddaughter. The hotel was everything we needed with no complaints from any of us. Lobby Staff was attentive and helped us when needed. Cleaning staff was always around cleaning the entire hotel. Restaurant and bar staff were always eagerly there to take our order. There was always chairs to sit on either on the beach or around the pool area without any problems. This was a fantastic family vacation.

Large group - great stay!
Rooms were clean and the food was great with lots of variety. Bar service could be delayed at times but the resort was busy during our stay. The only real downside was our room keys kept deactivating.

Wonderful vacation
The hotel was continuously cleaned. More cleaning crews for the pool area and beaches would be nice. People leave their food and the birds make a huge mess. Buffets could have been a little more of a variety each day but good. Rooms were nice and clean. Beach was amazing. Lifeguards around as its not always safe to swim. Venders stay outside the resort lines. But very affordable as apposed to town or the airport. Walked to the bar/shopping. Felt very safe. Could be better at posting about entertainment. There are two different stages. And never know when the white/foam parties are. If any at all. The entertainment is a lot different then other resorts i have been at. Lots of live music. Which was nice. Would come back. But maybe stay closer to town for a couple days to wnjoy the malecon etc.

Big hotel but old. Lots of wear visible in the rooms with worn toilet seats, black mold on the ceiling of the shower, hard hard beds. The glasses in our room were dirty when we got there and never cleaned or replaced. On the positive, lots of food selection and it was really good. Lots of room at the pools and towel service bonus.
