Would definetly recommend this property!

This resort was the perfect resort for us. It was on the smaller side and definitely quieter. The food was good and the 5 on site restaurants gave you some options. It was very nice to be able to go to any of the on site restaurants without a reservation. You could access the sister resort's restaurants next door with a reservation. We did utilize this once and the food there was very good also. With it being a smaller resort accessing the pool, beach, bars and restaurants was easy. You did not have to walk forever to get anywhere. There was evening entertainment that was nice and was over by 11 pm. We liked and appreciated this, however, if you are someone that is into night life this may not be the place for you. There was free wifi in the lobby that was very slow due to high usage. We purchased the in room internet. That worked very well and it was reasonably priced at $18 for 7 days. That price was per device. We had a very clean, comfortable room with a nice balcony that had a pool and small ocean view. The only complaints with the room was the lack of pillows, there were 3 small pillows for our king bed. The other was the placement of the toilet paper holder in the stall where the toilet was. The toilet was in a small alcove and the toilet paper holders (there were 2) we placed so that they literally hit your leg and arm when you used the toilet. Other that that the room was very spacious and had a bathrobe, slippers, umbrella, beach bag, iron and ironing board, and safe. What really made this resort was the incredibly friendly staff. All the staff was very friendly and efficient. They made you feel like you had known them forever. We really enjoyed this resort and would go again.

Great value!

My husband and I went to this resort for our honeymoon! The resort was on the smaller side but had everything we needed! The buffet was always great and fresh, the restaurants were really good and never crowded. The beach always had seating and areas for us to lay out. The Pool usually filled up quickly and we found that to have a great spot we needed to get up early to get covered chairs. The staff was amazing. We had a small leak in our room and were immediately moved and upgraded for our inconvenience. The entertainment staff were hilarious and always made things personal when they could! We will definitely go back! Please know that this resort is laid back, and quiet at night. It’s a great place to go if you want to enjoy the sun and relaxation!

Waste of a Vacation

Let me start by saying that my husband and I are used to staying at 5-star resorts when we visit the Caribbean, so maybe I had too high of expectations. We booked at Princess as a last minute trip for my husband's 35th birthday, but unfortunately we both agreed that we would have rather kept our money and celebrated at home. Pros: - The bar staff was friendly - The front desk was helpful when needed The pros ended there. Cons: - The food was terrible. Whether in the buffet or restaurants, it was like eating bad cafeteria food. No variety in the buffet. As a vegetarian, I was extremely limited in what I could eat at any of the dining options. - About halfway through our stay, I came down with food poisoning that kept us in the room for a day and a half including my husband's birthday. - On the morning we left, I was finally starting to feel better, so I tried the crepes from the breakfast buffet, and when I sat down to eat, a large ant crawled out of my food. Appetite gone. - The rooms are very uncomfortable. The beds are rock hard, and the bathroom situation is just weird. There are no doors between the toilet and the rest of the room! - We were constantly bombarded with sales pitches and vendors trying to sell us things. They're at the pool, the lobby, the beach, and outside the bathrooms! Even when we tried to arrange our airport transportation, our rep insinuated we should come back another time when we had decided to do an excursion as well. Very unprofessional. I come to relax, not be pestered the entire time. I will never stay here again, and feel embarrassed that I spent my money here. I'm not sure how anyone can call this place anything above mediocre at best. Don't waste your time.

PRINCESS PUNTA CANA

ADEQUATE!!! That's my review of Princess Punta Cana. First off I will give the good things. The service was top notch!!!! The people that work there are extremely good at their jobs. Bartenders and servers are the best thing this place has going!!! The beach was beautiful and pool was great. The rooms were average. Nothing special, but nothing really bad. Now to the bad parts. The food is basic. It is just a buffet. It all starts tasting the same after 2 days. They have 4 other restaurants, but there is only one or two open per night. The food in the other restaurants is also pretty basic. By then end of the week we could not wait to get back to USA for some good food!! The air conditioning is horrible. The rooms were never cool enough and half the time they weren't even working. They put occupancy sensors in each room so your air won't work when no one is in the room. When you came back to the room hot from being at the beach your room was not cool. None of the restaurants had cool air either. They do not have Wifi included in your package. You can only get it in the lobby. We paid the extra $18 dollars to get Wifi throughout. Only problem is it was down half the time we were there. Americans are the minority at this resort. Most people do not speak English (including the workers). If you don't have someone in your group that speaks Spanish don't go here. Most of the staff did not speak English. This was a great place to go for the money, however I will spend more money next time on a nicer resort. I will probably never visit this resort again. I might go back to Punta Cana, but I will stay somewhere nicer!!

The Punta Cana Princess is a hotel that knows no limits when it comes to beauty and rests on a pristine white sand beach. The beach boasts a mini spa section with its own Jacuzzi and a sauna right on the sand! When sand's not your game, snag a sun lounger poolside at the on-site freshwater pool or at any of the other three pools in the Princess resort complex.

With five on-site dining options, the hotel offers guests delectable choices when it comes to dinner. Opt for the a la carte seafood fare of Mare Nostrum, Tex-Mex steak at Rio Grande or elegant Swiss delicacies at Le Petite Fondue. Areito Discotheque offers free admission for all guests looking to shake their tail-feathers late into the evening, and a casino offers thrills even later. Live entertainment is also available at a number of on-site venues.

Sporty visitors enjoy sighting up a bull's-eye on the archery range or vying for match point on one of two tennis courts. If active relaxation is more what you had in mind, Metamorphosis Spa offers sensory nirvana with a variety of treatments, including hydromassage.

Retiring to a Platinum Suite can be its own adventure with a private balcony, premium-brand liquors in your room and nightly turndown service. An extra touch of island class greets guests upon arrival, too--a fruit basket and cigars are waiting to welcome you to paradise.
