  Not pleasant vacation

  Average resort ,sargassum on the beach, not possible to walk,smell like rotten eggs and fish.O/c in the room doesn’t work 28 degrees,just fan above the bed. Room not clean,specially bathroom,gross.Needs maintenance and good scrubbing.

  Great service

  The hotel is cozy and small, the food was great and so was the pool. But what stoop up the most is how friendly and polite the staff members are. Super accommodating, helpful and very kind. Our stay was the best thanks to the best customer service they have. Kudos!

  Room hotter than HELL

  The air-conditioning in the room is not keeping the room cold. The room temperature remains 28 degrees and I've sweating profusely since I arrived. I called the front desk 3 different times about the issue and I was told someone will be sent over each time. The 4th time I requested to speak with the manager who said the same thing that someone will be sent over. Few minutes after speaking to the manager, someone came to the room with an attitude 🙄. I ignored the bad attitude and allow him to fix the ongoing problem. He checked it and left within a minute, saying "one moment". After waiting for another 45 minutes, I called the front desk again and requested to speak with the manager. I was told the manager left for the day and asked me to check back in the morning. It means I'll be staying in this HELL for at least 2 nights out of my 3 nights of vacation here, if not for the entire stay. I'm really disappointed and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Great place for a peaceful vacation

  It was a great vacation. Even though it is not a small hotel, it never feels crowded or busy, it feels more intimate. There is plenty to do here and at their other properties, wether you want to relax or have fun. They have a great staff for activities. They are always welcoming, and I even danced with Mileny and Juli during the parties.

  DO NOT BOOK! Worst ever

  The worst experience ever. I’m rating a 2 only because of certain staff members and the lovely grounds. The food is inedible, and most staff members couldn’t care less. Yeah yeah ok ok was their response. I got tired of complaining. the AC in our room never got below 79 degrees 26.5 C. Then, bed was a brick, slime and mold spewed out of the whirlpool, overhead rain shower had mold and was broken, thankfully there was a handheld nozzle. You have to use bottled water to brush your teeth. The beach had thick seaweed and water was mucky. I watched for 5 days a staff member “pretend” to remove the seaweed. Never cleared anything. Good luck getting a beach/pool towel. You have to walk to the towel area. Ok, walked down at 11am for 2 days and no towels. Finally asked a manger and he brought us 2 towels. Witnessed reusing of pool plastic drink cups, without being washed. Attendants walk around with a white bucket collecting. They allow locals to use the pool and they are very loud and disruptive. Maybe these are the individuals writing the good reviews. Please do not book this resort. It’s disgraceful a waste of valuable vacation time and money. If you’re not a Spanish speaker good luck even getting a pool towel. The market is a joke, 25.00 for alka seltzer, 28.00 for a kids t-shirt ? 125.00 for a 10.00 beach coverup? Save yourself aggravation and frustration. Spa prices are more expensive than the states. Asked to use the little spa outside pool and that would be an extra charge. Seriously? To use a pool when we just spent 260.00 US for a massage? I’m just beyond annoyed and don’t want this happening to anymore else.
