  Amazing bartenders

  Lieser and birnvenido Are Amazing bartenders. So friendly and creative with the drinks. You must try a drink made by them at ocean blue and sands

  Great time at Ocean Blue and Sand

  This was our second time at this resort. We stayed Jan 21-Jan 28. We had a wonderful time and will come again next year. The couple that we convinced to come with us have plans to bring their whole family of 11 back in December. We ate primarily at the main dining area. The food was plentiful, large variety and very good. The staff were great. Also ate at Route 66. Last year that restaurant was not very good. The wait to take your order was excessive. This year we were seated quickly and our order taken quickly. It was very good. Wanted to try the steakhouse but could not get a reservation. Our room was in building 9 on the second floor. Room was very nice but a couple issues that need to be addressed: Housekeeping needs to clean under the beds and inside the closets. Pretty filthy under the bed. The sliding door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. Bathroom was HUGE. We asked Guest Services to refill the fridge with 4 Coke Zeros each day and that was done. Couple issues: The floor boards did not join in a couple places leaving gaps of almost an inch. The mattresses were too soft. The grounds were very nice and tropical. Loved the palm trees. My biggest complaint and one that will be of minimal cost to the company is the lack of pool chairs. Just your normal chairs. There was ONE for the whole pool and we had it. There are quite a large number of older people who have difficulty getting in and out of the lounges. We loaned "our" chair to a 90 year old. EVERYBODY camped out near our umbrella complained about the lack of chairs. Some were even taking them from the massage tent. At maybe 10-20 dollars a piece times one hundred and it would only cost a couple thousand dollars to buy a large quantity of chairs. This is a quick, easy and low cost fix to a real problem. Also a number of the lounges need to be replaced. The webbing has stretched so much you almost can touch the deck with your bottom. Bar drinks were consistent but a little weak. Next year I will ask for doubles. We liked the size of this resort. Other places we like have gotten way too big and very expensive. As previously indicated: Clean under the beds and in the closets, get firmer mattresses and but pool chairs. We had a wonderful time and will come again next January.

  Amazing experiences

  It’s our second time coming to this resort and will continue to recommend it to people when they’re looking to travel. Daniel in the privilege pool section has been amazing with ensuring we have any thing we need from towels; to drinks; to food. Carlos at the Tiki hut is always smiling and welcoming. Rafael was amazing as our butler, assisting with anything we may need. Bienvenido at the pool bar makes the best drinks and greets you with a smile every time. Joan and Lieser at the Fresco bar were always smiling and friendly. Jose Elias at the buffet has our drinks on the table for breakfast and lunch if he sees us coming through the door. This resort is full of friendly people who want to ensure you have the best vacation. I love it here. We will definitely be returning in the future.

  Accommodating/great drinks!

  Bienvenido and Antonio at the pool bar were fantastic! We did a rainbow drink session and they were both great at making drinks accordingly to the colors we needed and they tasted great!
